The slip is very comfortable, stretchy, and smooth. Even though it's straight and form fitting, it's so stretchy it will work for a cellist without having to be cut on the sides. It does have seams the length of the sides. There are no slits in this slip. It's one of the few slips I could find for a very slim person, i.e. petite/small. Most came only in small which would be too big for this person, who is 5'5" and weighs about 104 with a dancer's body. So we got what we needed, but had to pay a lot for the small size. czarinamuf

Nice quality. I wish it had a deeper V, but the adjustable straps can allow it to come down to a low scoop. Many gowns have pretty deep plunges these days and I wish someone would account for that in a non-shaping, non-lace accented slip. Until then, this is the slip to beat. Sara from Seattle

Very nice form fitting slip, I would like the slip even better if it had slits on the sides, you must be toned to wear this slip as a dress and not look out of place, but otherwise, if you are looking for a comfortable form fitting slip for a long dress, this is the one!!!
