Not for the petite. I'm 4'11" and 115 lbs. The cups on this bra are very...tall. Tall is the only way I can describe them. When I adjusted the straps, the cup edges cut into my underarms. But lots of cleavage coverage if that's what you're looking for. The band was pretty tight. Not sure if this would stretch with wear, but for the price I would hope there would be no stretching anywhere over time. It fit, but it sure wasn't comfortable.
Moving Comfort Response: This bra is classified in our 'Stabilize' collection. Some of the features for some bras in this collection include: Contoured seam-free cups, All-day wearability, Encapsulation support. Some of the bras within this collection, as well as all of our collections, have different cup, band, and strap styles. The reason for this is that even within a specific bra size such as 32DD, the breast tissue mass, both the front and back of the body, and side/underarm mass, are all different on each body. However, for sports bras the band should seem tighter than your lingerie bra. To support and elevate the breast tissue for proper encapsulation and strap adjustment the snug (not too tight) band is necessary.
If this style isn't right for your particular body type some other styles for a scoop back DD include: Divine Mesh #350045 Scoop Back Style, Jubralee #350042 Scoop Back Style.
