This item seems to run small. I wasn't able to try them on at all. Very strong elastic fit--so if you are strong enough to stretch them to pull them up, it might be what you are looking for. I ordinarily wear size 20 jeans--so 2XL would seem to be the correct size (yes--I checked the measurements before ordering)--but couldn't get them above my knees.
