Minimizer bras are constructed of specially designed cups that redistribute breast mass to reduce projection. They don't actually reduce size, but by directing breast tissue more toward the sides, minimizer bras do lessen protrusion. A minimizer made of high-tech microfiber has the added benefit of being smooth and invisible under t-shirts and other clingy fabrics.
Nothing is as smooth and soft as modern microfiber. Using a blend of nylon and polyester fibers, the filaments are extremely fine and packed very tightly, creating breathability, lightness and endurance. In minimizer bras, microfiber can be rigid enough to provide support while being soft and lightweight for comfort. The combination of breast mass redistribution and ultra-smooth material means a microfiber minimizer bra can make clothes look better, with no gapping or fabric bunching. |
