This slip is perfect for me. I was looking for a slip to sleep in because I usually wear a t-shirt to bed and like something light on my lower body. I like the silk and the knit has a bit of give, very comfortable. I wash it in the machine and so far, it's fine. It's hard to find a good quality silk slip at a reasonable price, glad I found this!! I surprised my daughter and bought her the Mary Green silk knit 21 inch half slip for Valentine's Day. She has been eying your slip for sometime now. When the slip came she was so excited and was very much surprised because she did not even know I knew she wanted one. So, it made the surprise even better. She called me right away and told me what great quality the slip was. She commented on the softness of the material also. My daughter is very petite and I was just nervous thinking she needed an XS. But the small fit perfect and it stays on your hip and does not ride up. She really needed a good slip for every day for work. I am glad when she got the slip that she was happy with it. I enjoyed the feel of the material, but was disappointed when I read dry clean or hand wash only. I had believed this was machine washable and for all the wear I give them I will washing them all the time.

HerRoom Response: The manufacturer states this to protect themselves. We know of several customers who do wash them by putting them in a laundry bag and then washing them in the washer. Suz from Mtb, Ca Us

I have bought this slip in both colours, and love it. It doesn't climb up, it stays in place and feels very comfortable, but also elegant, when on. It fits snugly, (like around the curves of your body) but is not tight feeling, since it is silk. Like I said, what I love best is it stays put under my dresses or skirts. LA from NY
