So disappointed! I am hoping these bras will "break in" eventually, but in the meantime, ouch!! I own the plunge bra by LZ in the same size, and its fantastic, it's the best bra I ever invested in. It is comfortable, and amazingly flattering. So after getting rid of two everyday bras that were cheap and didn't hold up very long, I decided to invest in some higher quality, hopefully longer-lasting bras and decided to go with this brand for their popularity with 38A sized women and my positive experience with the plunge bra. I bought one in nude and black, costing upwards of $180 with tax. After wearing the tan one for 1 day, I was in serious pain. The end of the under wire on the outside of the cup rubbed constantly, as did the the thick seam just off to the side of the cup, on both sides, top and bottom. When I took it off at the end of the day, there were red friction marks that burned and didn't go away for a few days and left lovely tan scars. Same thing with the black one. And of course, I cant return them. So I think I'll go back to buying bras in the $30 and under price range. Then at least if they are horribly uncomfortable after wearing them for a day, I am not out $70-80. I'm really really hoping these "soften up" after a few washings. Otherwise I am stuck wearing body glide every time I put these on and that is kind of a hassle/pain certainly isn't worth the money.
LZ Response:This is the first time LZ has received complaint for this bra. You might need a bigger band size (40A) for this style, it seems that 38A is too tight and that’s why it hurts you. Also, it could be that this bra is not good for your body shape, not every bra is for all customers. As you said, you own other LZ bra's that fit perfect on your body.
