This is the most comfortable bra I have ever used and I have been wearing them all the time. However, on two of them the wires poked through. Also, the first one fit me around comfortably; later ones seemed tighter around (band), even after several washings. I am now thinking of ordering a 44C to see if the longer band would help if it is returnable. My main concern, however, is whether anything is being done about the wires poking through. I see that other reviewers had the same problem. I sewed the one that poked through, but now another has done it too and I hate to think this is going to have to be done all the time. This my second order of this bra. I loved the 2 I ordered previously, as they are very supportive for my saggy breasts, they are cool, and in everyday wear for the past 6 months they have held up very well. I just love the fit and comfort of this bra! I haven't worn them since their first washing, so I hope I don't find the quality reduced (as did a previous reviewer). Margaret from Miami

I have used the Lunaire 11111 for years as a sports bra and as a comfortable everyday bra. In order to replenish, I ordered two more in July 2007. My latest order, however, did not satisfy. Like, Liat Z's review, the wires poked out on the first wearing of one of the bras and the wires poked out on the second wearing of the other bra. Both times it was in everyday use - I did not even get to try them as a sports bra. I find myself wondering when reading Liat Z's review if there were cutbacks on quality, changes in the material of construction, or something that made this happen to a bra style that has satisfied for years?

I love this bra. Unfortunately, the wire came out. I wonder if anyone had this experience. Maybe I had it bound too tight with the built in bra tank I was using. I think I need to resew the seams. Otherwise, it provides really excellent support and I am sad that the wire came out.

HerRoom Response: When the casing over the underwire rubs constantly against something else (in this case your other bra), a hole can be created and the underwire will come out.

This is my third Lunaire sports bra and I absolutely love it. I use it for yoga, strength training and hiking. It is extremely supportive and very comfortable. Since I have a pretty difficult size to fit, I was so happy to discover this particular bra. Vicki from Pinon Hills CA

Very supportive, feels smooth and is not chafing anywhere. Finally, a sports bra that minimizes bounce very well and yet doesn't create a uni-boob effect! I usually wear either a 38dd or 38d depending on the brand of bra, and for me this bra fit perfectly in a 38d. Angela from Fortuna, CA

First, the cups run large. I wear 36DDD in other bras but I wear a 36DD in this style. I originally bought it for a sports bra, but I now have 2 and wear them almost everyday. This bra isn't seamless, but I have worn it under tee shirts. The support is amazing. Other bras kill my back, but this bra is so comfortable. Tracy from Michigan

After reading the reviews from this site, I was very exited when I got this bra in the mail... Not so happy after I tried it on. The band fit wonderfully, the material used near the hooks in back should be used on more Lunaire bras, it feels very nice. My problem was the cups. They fit okay, but where the seam meets in the middle is VERY pointy. I had well supported torpedos.... The cup almost fit, in fact it fit everywhere but the seam which was slightly baggy, and again, pointy. Yuck! I think I will begin searching for a seamless sports bra.... Vanessa from St. Louis, MO

This is by far the best sports bra I've ever worn. It is so comfortable that I find myself wearing it between workouts. This is my favourite bra. It is so supportive to my drooppy baby boobs that I wear it all the time, not just for workouts. The bra's high cups are great underneath sweaters. The only imperfection is that in the summertime it can get sweaty. I would highly recommend this bra to any large breasted woman. Sandra D from Canada

This is the hands-down BEST sports bra for large breasted women. Every other maker of sports bras seems to assume that there are no athletes with big boobs. Well they are wrong. I would have killed for this bra in high school when i had to wear TWO sports bras to get enough support for varsity sports. I have been on a search for the best supporting sportsbra I could find. I horseback ride and jog and this bra is fabulous for both! I love the fabric it's made out of and the nude is a very pretty pinkish shade. I love the support it offers and it doesn't have painful boning in the sides. I love it! Lena

THE SPORTS BRA SENT FROM HEAVEN ABOVE! I was literally having a "I WISH THESE TWIN MONSTERS COULD MAGICALLY DOWNSIZE IF NOT DISAPPEAR!!!" melt down crisis. You know one of those days when you stand in the mirror trying to decide which shirt/blouse looks best, and after trying on the gazillionth top, the light bulb (in your brain) finally clicks on and you realize that there is absolutely nothing wrong with your shirts-they are perfect. However, everything is absolutely, 100 percent wrong with your bra-it fits horribly and your boulders are sagging down to your belly button? Well, this was my scenario, and had been since I can remember. That was until yesterday, when I had a life altering experience. After picking my self esteem up off my bedroom floor and gathering my composure, I drove to the mall in hot pursuit of a minimizing, ultra support, highlift bra with a band that didn't roll up or straps that dig in to eat my shoulders alive! My quest for the ultimate bra was over when I found the Lunaire Coolmax Sports Bra!!!! Upon trying it on, I was so amazed that it met my above criteria plus it offered amazing back support, which enhanced my posture instantly. (I actually felt like I was standing at full-attention saluting my superior. Thats just how much overal support this bra offers!)When I looked in the mirror I discovered that my breasts appeared to be 2 sizes smaller with a natural contour-no conic or smashing effect that is so typical of most sports bras). The amount of lift is unbelievable! My breasts now look like "PERKY" adolescent breasts! I really love the maximum coverage this bra offers while maintaining seperation. Nope, there is no 'third' breast squeezing out of the center, and no flesh erupting from the sides of the breast next to the armpit. I wore my Lunaire home and tried on all of my close fitting tops, and let me tell you... Finally, everything looked amazingly perfect! My initial intentions were to use it soley for exercise purposes , simply because my breasts had become so sore from the constant "bouncing" as a result of impact using the eliptical trainer.(Lunaire Coolmax Sports Bra reduced this problem significantly. It feels like someone is giving you a firm hug-dramatically less jiggle and movement when exercising.) I promise you that you will never want to take this bra off once you put it on. Honestly, it really feels just that good. I just can't stop smiling back at my reflected mirror image. My negative self body image has been wisked away and replaced with a level of highly renewed self-esteem. I loveeee this bra! So much so that I purchased 2 at the department store, and here I am on the website to purchase a trio set! Hands down, by far wearing the Lunaire Sports Bra produces the visual effects and benefits that only a surgical breast reduction could provide. Until, I can afford the costly procedure... I wear a 44H or I, and this is the first supportive sports bra I've found in this size. I put this bra on in the early morning for strength training and then find myself wearing it all day. My only criticisms: the underwires poke me occasionally and the straps need to be wider for larger sizes. Strap cushions help my shoulders stay comfortable. Otherwise, this is a terrific bra! (HerRoom Response: If your shoulder straps hurt, you probably need to go down a band size - straps are not supposed to carry so much weight that they hurt your shoulders.) Kris from Flint, MI
