After all of the great reviews about this bra, I had no problem buying one to try it out. However, I was somewhat disappointed by the fit. The main problem was the shape of the cups. The fabric is cut to make a weird pointy shape, very unnatural. When I put a T-shirt on over the bra, the shape problem was still there, it looked like the cups ended in points instead of a rounded shape I'm used to, and much more pointed than shown in the photos on this website. Also, the band size seems fine, but the cup size was a bit smaller than I expected. I was spilling out the top of the cups a little. I've worn several other brands of bra in 36D without a problem, so these cups seem to run a bit small. Ann Marie from Oakland, CA US

Black runs a tad small, but this bra is GREAT!! I live in a high humidity climate so the cotton really works. Great support with very little movement. That's very important with large breasts. This has become an everyday bra, not just for work outs. Lou C. from Manning, SC

I have always loved these bras but they are hard to find in stores and I was happy to come upon your website. I play racquet sports and they are very comfortable. I play a lot of tennis/workout and am continually in search of a good support bra for larger bust sizes. I am extremely pleased with the Lily of France Bra as it is very difficult to find the size in the local stores. I will use your services when purchasing other garments. Thanks! This is an excellent sports bra and cheaper than Donna Karan and it fits better on me. It doesn't bind anywhere and allows freedom of movement. Holds everything in place while I'm on the treadmill. Very comfortable. Will order again. Jody from Mooresville, NC

I LOVE THIS BRA. It supports without the wire cutting into me. It is a true full figured bra. I don't come out of the sides or the top. I wish it would come in colors. I used to buy all the colors in Kohls when I was a smaller size but they don't even carry it in store. As a Cancer survivor who has been thru much pain, this is the one item that I can honestly say I enjoy wearing. Thank you Lily of France and Her Room. I am forever grateful that I found you. I was a bit disappointed with the "In Action Underwire" sports bra, comparing it to the Lily of France "Underwire" sports bra, which is my all-time favorite bra for everything. The main difference I could see and feel was the "In Action" isn't 2-ply or double-lined like the plain old "Underwire" sports bra. I am bigger chested with a small frame & I feel this bra not only holds an attractive shape, but also holds me in good during high-intensity sports. They are so comfy, I wear one everyday...not the prettiest style, but they come in pink, baby blue, black and white, that I have seen so far. I purchased them from Kohl's dept. stores(usually for BOGO price) until they stopped carrying the original. Now they only carry the "In Action", so I have to order.
I think the "In Action" bra compromises the natural shape and is not as supportive (esp. around the middle of breast) as the "Underwire"(both have underwire on outside of bra). On a positive note, it's still 100 % better than those traditional uniboob or non-supporting styles. I'm sure it is supposed to breathe better too, however I never made it to the gym in it. I couldn't get past the difference in feel compared to the original "Underwire" sports bra I have been purchasing from Lily of France for years! Besides, I never had a problem with the "Underwire" feeling nasty due to sweating, so didn't see a reason for the change.
I recommend both of these bras highly to my clients, I just prefer the original. I think it is great for a larger busted women active in sports or not. I have purchased bras double the cost of these at pricey lingerie shops and I cannot get "unhooked" from Lily of France!! Tammy from midwest, USA

It is hard to find your exact size. As I was getting older, my size was also changing. I ordered the size I thought and hoped I was, and this bra fit. I work all day and at the end of the day, it is still quite comfortable. Marion from Fitzwilliam NH 03447

Normally with a new bra, I have to fasten the hooks at the widest point. This bra seemed a bit bigger than 34 so had to use the middle. I know bras stretch after a period of time, I hope that this one will not get too big for me. Other than that, I am very happy. Shirley from O'Fallon, IL. USA

These cups are too sheer and there is not enough nipple coverage to wear this bra in public. That's a shame because Lily seems be sized just right compared with other sports bras.
