I ended up returning the size, as it was too big and ordering one size down. I've worn the bra twice and it's the most uncomfortable bra I've every had. It's one of the prettiest, but pretty doesn't count when it' hurts to wear it. Sandy from Mims, FL USA

I really like this bra, I like that the front closure is hooked (like the back of other bras) and not a slide together button thing. The only complaint I have is that the band is a little wide and rough (where the hook area is). I have a high rib cage and it kind of rubs my skin from the bottom area of the closure. Otherwise I think this bra is great. DeAnna from Eden Prairie, MN, USA

A totally lovely, feminine bra. The closures irritate me though. It's so pretty I put up with it. Stef from Los Angeles

This bra is best for wearing low cuts blouses or dresses. It is also very comfortable. It does not provide the best support. Gina from Salem

I purchased this bra for my mother. It looked like it would be great for her. She likes to wear front closing bras with just one plastic fastener in the front. It is very difficult to find this style. I thought this bra would be easy for her to snap. Most front closing bras have about 5 hooks in the front and this one has only a few. Any bra with a hook and eye is difficult for her to put on. She can not see the hook and eye. Lining up the proper hook with the eye is difficult for her. You carry the older style bra that has one larger fastener in the front? Anna Marie Anna Marie from Hinsdale/NH/USA

Haven't left the house without an underwire for more than 40 years. This is like going out in your pjamas, except you feel supported. Great bra. Ceal from Urbana

Nice to have the option of making tighter or looser. Wish there were more front closure, racer back models. Overall, a good product, fits good and looks good. Nancy from Jersey City NJ

The band is stiff, and while it doesn't roll like every other bra I own, it starts to feel like an iron band as the day wears on. Also, the lining and the lace separate and pull differently over the breast. I finally had to cut the lace off, and just leave the lining. Also, there was a small hole in the lining of the bra when it arrived. Disappointed.

Leading Lady Response: The band is designed to be firm and stabilizes this bra. The lining and lace are different fabrications are proportioned properly. We would have/will replaced the bra free of charge if there is a small hole. Janet from WI

This was bought as a gift for my sister who is 86 years old - she was having problems finding a 40 B bra in any stores in Philadelphia and I couldn't find any in the stores in Virginia. It was great to find what I was looking for on the HerRoom. Mary A. from Great Falls, Virginia

I had a double mastectomy and have been searching for a comfortable wireless bra since my surgery. This bra seemed like a good fit but the elastic band is so wide and firm that it kept digging into my ribcage so I am sending it back. I guess I'll keep searching. Robin from Bensalem PA

incredibly uncomfortable and is on it's way back to be returned. The clasps in the front have sharp corners on both sides and there is no way to tuck them or cover them. They just stab into my breasts and ribs.

Leading Lady Response: The corners soften after washing. alicia from scio oregon usa

Love the bra but first time I wore it, last week, the edging above the right breast separated from the rest of the bra material. I wish I could return it, but it's to late. mary from macedonia/ohio/usa

I was glad to find a front close bra without underwire or a 5 inch placket for fasteners. The fastener is a little strange, but works. The band is a little scratchy. Ann from Jasper, IN

Although the 42D is one cup size too large for me, I will not be exchanging this bra for the correct size. There is a lot of excess fabric and, absolutely, no support built into this bra. I will be returning it.

Leading Lady Response: LL #5048 is an unstructured leisure/sleepbra and will never have the support of a regular bra. Thuy from Dallas, TX

The band on this bra was too small and it didn't give very good support. It's pretty and soft, but I needed a larger size. Jeannine

Overall fit is quite good. I very much enjoy not having to pull up straps that have fallen down my shoulders, and the front closure makes getting dressed before sunrise so much nicer. Not having underwires digging into my ribs all day is also lovely. I am thrilled that the closure is not the typical single plastic snap (and if you're not exactly that size, tough luck!), but has a 3-segment adjustment like a back-opening bra. I had a friend double check my measurements before I ordered, but the rib band is tight at the largest fastening and feels like I should have ordered the next size up. I will keep this in mind for the future, and use an extender for now. Unfortunately, I do see what another commenter meant by strange bunching behind the support panel. Having worn it now, I can spot it in the model photograph on your site. However, this is a really small thing for me, compared to the overall comfort. Because the cup material is light and stretchy, it can also gather and bunch across the breast when I first put it on, which looks rather dismaying. However, a little adjustment to the ladies smooths that away and it is no further problem. When I first tried one on, because I obviously would not launder it before checking the fit, the inside fastener itched like crazy. Now that I've run it through the wash with a little fabric softener, I have no problem. It would be nice if the cup material were more substantial. I feel that the shoulder straps are having to do most of the support work because the cups are so light, and I would prefer to have the weight carried by the rib band and cups. It would also be nice to have slightly thicker material in cool weather and air-conditioned offices. All in all, though, I really like the bra and would definitely order it again. I've already enthused about it to friends and directed them to this site. Remi from Monterey, California, US

Very nice bra, I have old injuries in my shoulders and neck which are aggravated by traditional bra straps, so I love the racer back, I also don't have to struggle to hook in back. It fit great and is very comfortable, my only issue with it is I wish there was denser/ thicker lining in the molded cup, I found it a little thin and I had to purchase petals for you know what when I go into the 55 degree surgery room. Otherwise perfect and beautiful as well. Pattie from Wells,Maine USA

The bra was ill fitting. It bunched under the breast and around to the sides. I had to return it after waiting a month to get it. I would not order this bra again. Meridith from Wildwood, MO, USA

The way the bra is constructed in the back was extremely uncomfortable. The straps come into a "v" configuration in the back. I returned it. Ad should show what the back of this bra looks like.

HerRoom Response: We provide many views of this bra including a back view. Pamela from Willow Grove, PA USA
