I was very disappointed with this bra and will be returning it. I found the number of clasps simply too much work to get in and out of for nursing and also found that the size ran small. Perhaps this would be better as a non-nursing sleep or maternity bra - but not good for nursing.

HerRoom Response: This bra is a sleep and/or leisure bra. It is not designed to be a nursing bra. Tammy from Somerset/NJ/USA

Thrilled with the band fit and cup size, but not the closures....certainly doesn't lend itself to fabulous undergarment shape :( It will serve the short-term purpose I need and it's something that will be comfy after reduction surgery! Jacqui from Prior Lake, MN, USA

At my height it rides up in back, as another reviewer mentioned. I got the C/D/E and am a C and it barely fits, so would say it runs small. I would prefer if the elastic under the cups hit lower--this may also be a height issue--it rides up underneath my breasts.

Leading Lady Response: Avg is 5'6" so shouldn't be riding up. Our experience with this bra for over 15 years is that it doesn't run small. Paula from Dexter MI

The vertical seams on the cups of this bra are very uncomfortable after even a short time wearing.

Leading Lady Response: We appreciate your feedback. We have successfully offered this bra style for over 15 years. The vertical seam gives better shape to the garment, and the capacity is not as good without it. Harmony from NC

Wonderful item. Pretty comfortable. I would prefer the seam in front to not hit my breast where it does as it is distracting a bit. But It will not prohibit me form using it. Thank you! Carol S from Darien IL USA

This bra is great for leisure exactly like it sounds, supper comfy I think I should have gotten a smaller band though I wish it came in bigger cup sizes too, if it did I would buy a billion, or maybe just 10 Angela from new Yiork

I like wearing this bra all day if I'm not too concerned with "lifting the girls" with what I'm wearing that day. Fairly easy to get on since I've had recent shoulder surgery...sometimes I need help, but that's my body, not the bra. Its nice not to be pinched and tortured! Its nice to be comfortable! I love this bra and am about to order 2 more! I usually wear a 34DDD and got the 36F to accommodate my pregnancy body. I often find it hard to find a bra that gives you support and doesn't dig into your shoulders. This one doesn't give you the perfect lift but it also does not leave you hanging-it is perfect for night wear and low-impact days. It didn't leave me with the usual spillage I get with a lot of cups. The front clasps are easy to fasten and the shoulder pads are perfect-no digging or bruising. I don't usually write reviews but I loved this bra too much to not write one! Primrose from Maryland

I bought this for my mother who had open heart surgery last year. She said this bra was very nice-easy to put on, nice on her skin, she liked it very much. I was happy that I didn't have to return it, being a first time buy from this web site. I did appreciate the star system and comments. Thank you. Florence from Butler, PA

Soo comfortable. I bought this one size larger than I usually wear bc i wanted a slightly looser fit for sleeping. I would wear the bra in my usual size all the time except that the bra doesn't work very well under most blouses. I wish they'd make a version in microfiber or something that would be smooth under clothing. But even as is, I do love the bra for around-the-house and sleep wear. Harriet from DC

I wear a 36D underwire. Visiting a friend in the hospital, I decided it might be a good idea if I had a sleep bra which could be closed from the front and offered modesty without overmuch restriction. It fits well, and is flattering for wearing around the house. I am thinking I might like to go up a band size for a looser fit (this size fits like a 36 on the snuggest eyelets). I specifically wanted this bra to keep in my "just-in-case-hospital-bag" and do not intend that it serve as an everyday workhorse bra. I like that it is cotton. Nancy from Southern California

This bra worked - I had back surgery and was staying with my parents while recovering. I wanted something that would be comfortable but still somewhat supportive. The front hook closure was wonderful so I didn't have to fight between my back and my bra. L from St. Charles, MO

This bra works for when I am home alone (or with only my husband) and want a little more support than going without a bra, but I would not be able to wear it with anyone else around. Since there is no adjustment on the shoulder straps, the bra is really too short for me (I'm about 5'10"), which causes the back to ride up and the darts to come to prominent points way too high in the front. The darts clearly show through just about any shirt I put on over the bra. Also, I measured as needing a 44F, which should be on the small end of this bra size's range, but I don't think it would fit if I were any larger. Again, it works for when I'm on my own at home, so I decided to keep it, but I don't think I'll order another bra that doesn't have any adjustment for length over the shoulders. Sarah from Texas

I was looking for something to wear around the house, and possibly when doing yard work. This bra works, but would be much better if it were actually big enough. I wear an H cup in regular bras, and this one is stretched to the absolute limit in the cups, while squishing "the girls" into a uniboob. I will continue looking for a casual leisure-type bra.

Leading Lady Response: Perhaps you are using the bra beyond its reach. There may not be enough fabric and a larger size may be needed. Fits as high as it gets and is at the top of the size range. A size 38 F/G/H may work better and/or try Leading Lady 151 which has more stretch in the fabric. Dana from Griffin, GA

All cotton garments are kind of a must when you are a welder, and it's nearly impossible to find one that is not only cotton, but comfortable as all get out. I also really like: 1. front closure (i have carpal tunnel and it's hard to reach around back) 2. full coverage so there is no "spillage" when I bend over, but not so high up that it gets too hot around the neck or strangles my collar bone 3. real support in the stretchy, non-padded (thank God!) cups for "the girls" and 4. real support for the customers like me from HerRoom. I had to exchange my first one and the exchange process was totally painless and free. THANK YOU!! Julia from Laurel, MD USA

I love these bras. This is my 3rd. Hope they don't ever discontinue them. Front hooks make it easy to put on. Cotton knit is comfy. High sides in back mean a smoother line. The only downside is that cotton is less durable, and will fade. It's worth it - I'll just reorder. MJ from Tucson, AZ

The item as shipped IS NOT AS PICTURED HERE. I ordered this item specifically because it was a 4-clasp, low-plunging bra. Noplace on this website does it say that other sizes are not as pictured.

HerRoom Response: We apologize for the confusion. if you will refer to our "Fitters Comments" section, you will find the hook count for the different sizes. Tina from Mechanicsburg, PA

I haven't worn my new bra yet, I just had my breast surgery. I had pre-ordered it, so I would have it when I was ready. I was VERY impressed with how fast I received my order. I had ordered it early expecting to have to wait, but I was pleasantly surprised how quick my order arrived. It seems to be perfect though. Looking forward to doing more business in the future. Comfortable but supportive, unable to find anything like it at Dept. store. Seams do leave an indent in my skin, not a big deal though. I will probably buy more! Lucia from Midwest, US
