I LOVE this bra - it makes me look like I'm 25 years old again! I went and got professionally sized before buying this bra due to all the other feedback on this website, and I'm glad I did. I was wearing a 36D in VS bras, and was prepared to go up to a 38D per the sizing guidelines. The fitter told me I'm actually only a 34, and that I needed to drastically increase my bra cub to a triple D (which is an F for this line). After I got over the shock of the name of my new size, I put the bra on and then pulled on a t-shirt to see the results. Oh boy was I blown away. I have a waist again! My neighbor and good friend lives next door and as soon as I got my bra I raced over to show her the results. She struggles with lower back pain and has a heart condition, so I couldn't wait to tell her about this bra. I encouraged her to get fitted for it before buying though. We went shopping the very next day. I left her and the fitter to shop, and when I came back she was at the register, and I could tell immediately she was wearing her new bra. Her shoulders were back, she had a waist and most importantly, she didn't walk hunched over in pain. I couldn't get over the transformation! We went to pick up my 7-year-old daughter and she immediately hugged Sue, stepped back, looked up at Susie and started tapping her finger on her lips in contemplation. She said, 'Hmm, new glasses?' We just looked at one another and did that silent 'No way is she seeing the difference'. Then my daughter said, 'New haircut?' What!? What's different, Susie?' We both just laughed. Susie then said, 'I can't WAIT to see if my husband notices'. Needless to say, he did indeed notice. He told her that night that her ta-tas looked like they did when he met her - 16 years ago. The band size fit me perfectly but I was spilling out of the cups above and at the sides in this bra. Although American made 34 DDD's seem to be a perfect size for me generally, I'm finding that I have to go another size up in cup size than generally recommended for European bras. I ordered a 34F (= 34DDD) and see that I would need at least a 34FF in the Tisha bra. However, I'm not sure overall about this bra. I tried a knit shirt over it and can see that if I didn't have the over-the-top spillage, that the form under the knit shirt is very nice. However, the bra feels very "constructed" - I feel like I'm wearing armor. I will exchange this bra, either for a different brand of "t-shirt" bra that is less imposing, or, for a Fantasie 6010 32FF that is an absolutely gorgeous, luxurious, and sexy bra,and one that fits perfectly (all right, actually I just bought it in a 34FF after finding that a 34E in another of Fantasie's styles was too small in the cup - now the cup is perfect but in this style the band runs large so will be exchanging it for the 32FF - it's so beautiful I toyed with keeping it anyway - I hate to let it go, but I know it's better to have it in the correct size in the end). Despite my disappointment in this bra I am sure that I will find the perfect t-shirt bra from Her Room. The ease of return and exchange makes up for not being able to try on in person. I think I will become better at reading the reviews and figuring out how better to order for my particular body, or, as I find the bras I love, won't have to go through the try and exchange route any more. I did hit "right on" with two of the bras I have bought here. I have at long last found a place that carries beautiful bras that fit me (or will fit me) and I'm like a kid in a candy store!

HerRoom Response:Your comments about going up to a size FF is one we at HerRoom have not heard before. We have heard, however, that this bra does feel tight at first. But, that after a day of wear, the initial firmness seems to go away and becomes comfortable. Nanci from Ypsilanti MI

I was wearing 42DDD in Bali or Olga and not happy with the way they looked. Decided to get fitted for a new bra and ended up with a 40I in a Goddess. So hard to hook I dreaded trying to get it on quickly! Got fitted in another shop and had 42G in Cacique (sp?). Good but not perfect - straps falling and a bit out of shape. Went to the internet and found HerRoom and Le Mystere. Figured out what size based on recommendations here - 42F - and had doubts when I first tried it on because the band seemed tight. Have had it on six hours, went shopping, walked the dog, etc. and the bra feels great. Snug in the band, but no longer tight, straps never moved, and "up where they belong"! I was so excited when I first put the bra on but I felt like Miss Doubtfire after looking at it. I was all boob! The underwire was hurting my ribcage... I cannot believe it - FINALLY the PERFECT bra - I have always desperately wanted those bras that you see everyone wearing - the ones that make their breasts look extremely smooth and perky - well, now I have one!!! I was so hesitant to spend this much on a bra, but it was WORTH EVERY PENNY. I am ordering more and throwing out every other bra I own, this is the one for me. It really gives a nice look under clothes - you can actually tell that I have a waist! Definitely order one band size up like Herroom suggests for this bra - I have been wearing 38DDD for years and this bra fits me PERFECTLY. I always had a problem with cup spillage, where my breasts puckered up over the top of my bra (and that's so unattractive) - Oprah is an absolute god, it really changes the entire way you look. My normal regular size in most bras is 42D. I first ordered this in 44D as suggested. I had to put hooks in 2nd hole which I knew was not right for a new bra although someone I talked to at HerRoom said that was right in case you gain weight. I had never heard that one before and told her I knew that was NOT right! The coverage in the cups were too skimpy so I sent for size 42E which is much better although there is more cleavage still showing than I would like. The band size is perfect and will keep the bra. Maybe I will try the next cup size up next time which I can't imagine needing. It does keep you up where you belong of which I have bought some very good bras of which I have not had success in this department. The one thing I would say should be included in a bra of this price is a better strap that has the cushed protector at the top of the shoulder. In reading other posts I have the feeling you have to wear the G cup to get the good strap. This should not be. Donna from Union City

Mixed reviews on this one: I love the way it looks under clothing, but since the straps kept falling down, I had to sew an elastic band between the straps in back. Between that and the bra extender I had to use on the bra itself, I feel like I have to struggle into this contraption every morning. Band sort of cuts into me, but will wear it on teaching days, when i don't like my nipples to show. (HerRoom Response: Bra extenders can be a problem with straps because the back is made longer and thus moves the straps farther down the shoulder. I am usually a 38DD, but I ordered this in a 40E as the site advises. My breasts were SWIMMING in these cups, however. This does seem to happen to me with certain brands, (Olga, Wacoal) so perhaps if other girls find that they are a smallish DD and want a real demi, maybe try the 955; which is what I intend on exchanging this for. This is a really good supportive shapely bra. Granted it's not sexy but it is great for support and for wearing under T-shirts as it has a layer of padding that minimizes or eliminates nipple show through. Fearing spill over, I originally bought the DD size but it made my chest look too large. I then went down to the D size without any problem from spillover. I find the underwire bra sometimes digs in to my midriff but when that happens it is a sign that I need to exercise more and eat more carefully to get rid of that midriff bulge. I do find that the shoulder straps tend to dig in after wearing the bra all day but I'm sure that is not a problem for smaller sized women who wear smaller cups. This bra is extremely supportive yet is very smooth under tops. I am usually a 32E but I found the 32F fit me better and seems to have better (thicker) straps. This is a good bra for people who have a small rib cage yet large cup size. Stef from Santa Clara CA

I ordered this bra just like the recommendation...1 size larger around the band than you normally wear. AWESOME FIT! PERFECT for me in every way. Well worth the money. I've been wearing minimizer bras for the past few years, and although I like the support minimizer bras offer, I haven't been too comfortable with the way my breasts look in those bras. Luckily, my sister took me to a department store to get fitted for a Tisha bra, and I've been happy ever since! I was wearing the Tisha bra in a 36DD, and it wasn't fitting right anymore. So i went to the store and found this bra in a 34D and it fits perfectly! I've been put back where I belong and I feel that they aren't gonna fall out if I bend over. I Liked the other style too but I lost some weight and they just weren't working. My Dream Tisha bra experience (9955) was very short lived. Overall, the bra was very uncomfortable due to the gouging and scrubbing of the underwire on my rib cage and the digging of the bra straps into my shoulders at the loosest setting. I was re-measured by a bra fitter just to make sure I purchased the right size before I returned this for an exchange to the online store for a larger size. However, I was told that I had, indeed, purchased the correct size for my measurements. In my opinion this was the most uncomfortable bra, I have ever tried on because it was too tight in the band and too loose in the armpit area. The molded cup seemed to make my breasts look wider as if it had no side panel support. The bra straps were definitely doing all the work for this bra and left me with a sore neck. I really, really needed a good bra, and the Tisha bra met most of my expectations. However, I don't know how much I'll be able to wear it. The cups looked enormous but fit perfectly. The straps do not dig or pinch in any way. I felt completely supported. The color and thickness did not bother me at all--I prefer the nude to white actually. The only problem that I have with this bra is the underwire. I'm not sure if it digs because I am shortwaisted (as someone else mentioned) or if it is a little too tight around (I ordered a size larger as instructed). Although the bra is a little tight around, it is not necessarily uncomfortable. I normally wear my bras snuggly around rather than looser. I have worn it for a couple of hours and have twisted the wire a bit to help with the digging. That helped a little. It still hurts me and I am extremely disappointed because I had such high expectations! I'll continue to wear it as much as possible. DS from North Carolina

After reading the reviews I decided to try out the popular 9955 that I first saw on Oprah. I was a bit weary about the sizing at first and the online ordering because you just never know how things are going to fit. Well, I just got the bra in today and I'm very happy to say that this bra is so comfortable!! I can't believe I waited this long to actually order it - what was I thinking?! The problem I always have is that if the band fits the cups are huge on me and if the cups fit I can't even get close to fastening the band. The cups on this bra fit great. They really contain the nipples for a smooth look...something that is very hard to find in my size. I could fasten the band, but it is too tight to be comfortable. But I always get band extenders around for exactly this problem....so I think this bra is really going to work for me me from grand rapids, mi, usa

What a WONDERFUL bra! Ordering the European E cup size was a little different as opposed to my usual DD, but that is another story. I love everything about this bra. I usually like bras with a little lace, but given all the good things about this bra I can give up the lace. The support on this bra is fantastic. The boning in the side is confortable and it definately cuts down on the side buldging that us fuller/heavier breasted women have had to put up with. I like the light padding because it cuts down (and ALMOST eliminates) nipple show through. The nude color really doesn't show under clothes no matter what I wear and I can wear the black when I want to dress a little sexier in dark clothes. I could not believe how fast my bra arrived, 2 days. FINALLY SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS. I have searched for many years for a bra that keeps my prominent projections my secret. I have always said that men must design bras. They think because you are large that you do not need some coverage in the cups department. This solves an embarrassment problem for me. I have bought nursing pads before so that I do not get "are you cold" comments.It gives firm support so that you do not have breast tissue under your arms and gives smooth appearance in your clothes. This bra is fantastic! I've waited months for another site to send it, but HerRoom got it to me in just 2 days! The fit is perfect. It doesn't bind, pinch or dig anywhere! Nothing falls out the sides or bottom like so many "full figure" bras I've tried in the past. The cups are comfortable and cover everywhere, while giving great lift and support.
