I purchased this bra 2 years ago after seeing it on Oprah. I'm 52 years old and wear a 42D. I have nipple show through on all other bras I've ever owned. I could only wear blouses made of heavy materials. This bra has opened a whole new wardrobe for me. I can wear any type shirt I want now from the skimpiest materials to the heaviest. I love it. It absolutely changed my life. I feel much more confident in everything I wear. It is very comfortable except that I wish it didn't dig into my shoulders. Other than that, thank you for changing my life. I own 3 and I wear them every day. I wash them on the delicate cycle and never put them in the dryer. I wish I could afford one for every day of the week. I have a birthday coming up, and thats what I'm asking for!!! Thank you again! Becky from Texas

This is an excellent supportive bra for us fuller figure women. I do typically order all my LeMystere bras a band size smaller than what I typically need. With the fullness of the cups I never need to go up a cup size to accommodate the smaller band size. I love this bra. It is very comfortable and supportive. Kathy from West Allis, WI

I found this bra earlier this year in a 40F and it worked out GREAT, but since then I have lost 20 lbs and downsized to a 38F. Now that I lost another 20 lbs the 38F band is too big (and actually the cups have probably been too small, it tips away from my chest). Now I am having a problem finding the correct size, 36F cup size is too small, the band fits fine. So, I tried a 36G and the cups are HUGE! I'm not quite 5'2" and there is too much bra under the arm. From reading the previous comments, maybe the larger cup size bras are not designed for shorter women. I am disappointed, I will have to try and find another bra that was as comfortable and supporting.

HerRoom Response: Given your height and complaint about the wires poking you under the arms, you should consider bras with demi cups. A demi cup bra will have a shorter wire. Also, when you go down a band size, you need to go up a cup size to maintain the same cup volume. Shannon from Cincinnati, OH

Always searching for the right bra - one that doesn't ride up in the back, adequately accommodates my generous breasts, looks good under a sweater or T shirt, and feels comfortable - has been a challenge for me. I found all this features in the Tisha bra. The reviews that I read about "not fitting correctly" are not true if you follow the guidelines provided by Le Mystere. With this correct fitting bra I actually look smaller (yeah!) than I actually am. I wash my bras in the machine but never put them in the dryer and they still look new after owning them for at least a year. Thank you for your wonderful product. Marylin from Hartford CT USA

It keeps the weight of my breasts off my shoulders. VERY comfortable and my nipples DO NOT show through! Submitted from TheUndies.com

The bra really wasn't made for me. I'm only 5' tall and a size 6 other than my breasts which are 36DD. There was way too much bra, it hurt my ribs and my breasts barely fit in there even though I followed the measurement suggestions. It just didn't work out for me. CB from new York

Bra too large for HerRoom sizing chart. Very uncomfortable - even after washing. This is equivalent to wearing a "coat of armor". I consider this two expensive gifts for Goodwill. Jana from Atlanta GA

I purchased this bra for my wife after reading some reviews and recommendations. She told me that this is the greatest bra ever and she wished I had bought her more. She is not one to shop much at all. So I tried buying for her on a whim, now she wants me to shop for her more often. Michael from Plymouth, MI

It was suggested to order up one size up and found it to be too big. HVT from Brewster, MA,USA

I was really hoping that this bra would be my salvation, as I have trouble finding a supportive, comfortable bra in my size. As soon as I got the box at home, I immediately tried the bra on. What an extreme disappointment!!! I ordered my usual cup size, but these cups are very "bulky" and had no support! I almost had a "uni-boob". Didn't separate adequately, at all! Maybe for smaller sized women this bra is OK. But, for larger sizes, it's a waste of time and money. I'm returning it immediately!!! Jan from Los Angeles, CA

I really wanted this bra to work since it was on Oprah, but it was really too big and since I liked other bras in the on-line store I decided just to return it. It had too much padding for me, I am already 38H, don't really need any additional help in that area.

HerRoom Response: The padding on this bra is really minimal and is there to provide modesty. Cindy from Gurley,AL,USA

Obviously ordered a wrong size!!!! Does NOT fit at all. Very disappointed in fit, but bra seems to be very well made. Hope to have it replaced and try again. Peggy from Pea Ridge, Ar.

The bra itself was amazingly comfortable and the panties that went with it were too. I couldn't have been more pleased with them. I believe the fitter's comments helped me order accurately. Alexandra from Mankato, MN USA

It was way too big - compared to another bra I ordered in the same size, it wasn't even close. Debbie from Chicago

This is the 3rd one that I've purchased. The size is consistent with other styles from the company. I'm completely satisfied. Barb from Ypsilanti, MI, USA

This is a great full figure bra. It shapes well and works under any thing. It is sooooo comfortable! Oprah was right on the money with this one. Shari from Laurelton, NY/USA

Best Bra EVER!!!. I can finally wear sweaters and t-shirts without the nipple show through, plus, this lifts my breasts higher than other bras, leaving my figure looking that much better. I own at least a 1/2 dozen of these, in a couple sizes. (My weight has fluctuated a bit.) PERFECT! Kelly from Eau Claire, WI

THIS BRA ACTUALLY SEPARATES, IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A LUMP! IT ALSO MINIMIZES VERY WELL AND IT REDUCES THE LOOK OF BACK FAT....VERY COMFORTABLE!!! Rebecca from Prineville/Oregon/USA

I just have to add a funny comment: one time I was on a beach and didn't have a swim suit, and I got away with wearing this bra (black) as a bikini top! It's that opaque and supportive. Sarah from

I love this bra, and I wear it every day. For me, with a larger figure and losing the battle against gravity, it holds everything in place and I don't feel sore like I do with less sturdy bras. That said, its two biggest weaknesses are a direct result of that same firmness: 1. it can be really hot in the summer, 2. you are always very aware that you are wearing a bra; unlike thinner bras, you can feel it in your clothes, especially when you twist or bend. For those of us who are very sensitive to tactile things, one other problem with it is that as it wears out, you can begin to feel the skeleton of the bra through the fabric (there's some digging under the armpits, for example), and (I have very, very sensitive skin) on the side boning, little tiny "pills" like you can get on sweaters can be irritating, and the ribbon of fabric can get scratchy as it warps and bunches up. Usually these things happen way after you probably should have bought a new bra, anyway, though. On the other hand, another nice thing about it is that it gives a beautiful silhouette, with no bra lines, nipples showing, or lumpiness. I don't think there's a single thing they can do about my criticisms, so I still recommend it wholeheartedly. Elizabeth from

I love this bra. I am a small person with a large chest and have had extreme back pain for a while. My sister watched Oprah and talked me in to trying out this bra. My pain has been eliminated. My insurance will not cover a reduction so I just purchase more of these bras. I feel better and look better with the bras. Billi Jo from Nescopeck Pa. United States

Although the bra isn't very sexy looking and was never meant to be, it is truly comfortable bra. The straps stay put and there is nothing digging into my skin or back or sides. Once I put it on, I actually never think about my bra for the rest of the day. And that is saying a lot! Very well made and easy to wear. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. What a great bra!!! I hesitated to buy it because it's more expensive than the bras I usually buy, but boy was it worth it. Smooth under tops, comfortable. It's now my new favorite. I did take the advice of another reviewer and ordered the next number size up than I usually wear. I usually wear a 36, got a 38 in this bra, and the fit was just right. Laura from Ohio

This bra has great support - the best I have found. One problem is that the straps dig into my shoulders, but maybe it is me. If you like underwire, I would give this bra a try.

HerRoom Response: IF straps are digging into your shoulders, this is often a symptom that your band size is too big. Perhaps a 38H will fit you better. Michelle from Fort Worth/TX/US

I am so glad that I found this bra. I got it before in 2 other sizes and they fit horribly. I am glad I kept at it. I have the correct fit now and I love it. It may take you a few try ons and exchanges, but this bra is worth finding the correct size. jr from

I have had trouble finding a bra that fits for years. After being misfitted by several mall employees (Victoria's Secret, Frederick's of Hollywood, etc who said I was a 38DD), I finally was sized correctly by a professional at a 36H. I tried this bra on at the store in a 36G as they did not have an H in stock. That size was too small so I purchased a different brand in 36H & it fit perfectly. I still wanted this style so I purchased it on this website. I was so dissappointed. The cups were HUGE! I had ordered a different style in my size & it fits just fine. I don't know if this bra was mismarked as far as size but needless to say it is going back. I gave it 2 stars because I love the construction of it & the one I tried on in the store had wonderful support. Audra from Ft.Lewis/WA/USA

This item is great. It you are extra "full" then sometimes I think you might find if the straps were thicker it would stay on your shoulder more comfortably. Other than that I have bought these for years and LOVE them. Catherine from San Antonio, Texas
