Needed a band size larger than a Wacoal. The cup size was the same. I am usually a 32F and had to wear a 34F. After I got the size was right (third time's a charm). I find the bra looks great under a sweater. Michelle from Lincoln, NE

Good quality, but didn't fit, this was my second try. Last time the 32H was GIGANTIC, now the 32F was WAY too small. :( Heidi from Spokane, WA, USA

Band fits well as do the cups. It is good for T-shirts. I only had two problems with this bra: 1) It points the breasts outward and to the sides. So if your cup size is large, it presses on the insides of your upper arm and causes nerve pain. 2) If I wear it for a long day, by the end of the day, the underwires cause some soreness. I don't think this is because my band size was too small. The band fits well- there is no bulging and it does not ride up. And the cup size seems fine also. I think I just have problems with underwires not being flexible enough to hug the curves of my ribcage.

HerRoom Response: If you are petite in stature, this can also be the reason for the underwires not working. Try a bra with a demi cup. The underwires will be shorter. Julie from Houston, TX

For being very large busted, the support was better than most bras. I would love to see the padded part on the bra strap be longer, it ends up more in the front shoulder than right on top for the most comfort. Still looking for a bra that I LOVE and have comfort in every day! Lori D. from Oakland, CA - USA

I think the materials used in this bra, and the molded cups are extremely supportive, I was very impressed with this feature, however, I found that the cups were a little too wide, putting the straps too close to the shoulders. When ordering, be sure to follow the advice of the fitters and increase your band size, it is definitely needed. Patricia from Port Hardy, B.C. Canada

Very comfortable, very supportive for a larger size Barb from Florida

Was not comfortable as I expected. Actually felt itchy. I sent both of these bras back. I found the wires uncomfortable and the band was tighter than most bras I've worn I could probably go up a size, but don't think it was comfortable enough to order again--even in a larger size. Customer service was fantastic. K from Omaha, Nebraska

Though I usually wear a 38DDD or 38F, the cups on this bra are too large - so I returned it. I found the wires uncomfortable too. Jamie from New York, NY, United States

Fairly perfect! Its good side support gives me a straight line between underarm and midsection, and my breasts go forward only, no "side bumpers." Very comfortable, smooth line under sweaters. The only fault for me is that the molding feels a little too constricting (I'm used to soft-cup underwires), but that beats sagging or the "uniboob"! Anne from Arlington, VA, USA

After one return and finally finding the right size, I have to say I really like this bra! It definitely keeps the girls up and in the right place. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is you have to do a little readjusting after you lay down and get back up...you have to put things back in their place. Otherwise-love it! The band is way tight, although other 44 bands fit fine. I think a little extra material could make a big difference. I do like it but not the tightness. I am hoping it gives a little as I break it in more. Daisy from New York United States

This is the best full coverage, no-see through bra I've ever worn. Now I can wear t-shirts without a second thought, light colored ones too. When I first tried one on I thought "this is like wearing armor!" It's a very structured bra and at the same time very comfortable. Because they are expensive I was saving these bras "for good". Now I wear them most of the time. They last longer than other brass - the elastic simply does not "give out." Carol from santa rosa, ca

I love the bra, but it does run small. I tried it on and it's tight, but I kept it anyway since the bands of most bras seem to stretch out over time. The cups fit perfectly, but they are cut very high on the sides. Because of this, I cannot wear this bra with most of my sleeveless clothes because the bra shows under my arms. However, its a great bra with all other clothes.

HerRoom Response: If the cups fit perfect, but the band is tight, you might consider a 40F. This will give you a bigger band while maintaining the same cup size. Lisa from New Jersey

I love these bras. Finding a nice looking supportive bra in large sizes is very difficult. These bras support and lift and really make you look 10lbs lighter. You do have to be diligent about either hand washing or washing on delicate in a lingerie bag or the won't last. Other than that these are well worth the cost. Francesca from Clearwater FL USA

I tried this bra in every size and also the 9955 mystere and I guess this bra just isn't for me. The fit is strange to me. I wished it worked because the bra is built well and looks comfortable but it just didn't work for me. Brandi from Alabama

I agree with many negative reviews that this bra can cause pain and limited motion in the rib cage. It does however provide uncomparable support, with the emphasis on the band (rib/back area) and not the shoulder straps. I would recommend this bra for women with bulk in the rib area to protect the band/wire from rubbing directly on the ribs and those with problems/pain from shoulder straps. This bra truly is made for larger women and did not work for my 34/36 C frame. I would recommend the Lace Tisha bra for smaller busted women, much more comfortable and still good support. This is one serious bra - it's sturdy, opaque, and is the only bra I've ever had that keeps everything lifted and where it's supposed to be. It's completely invisible under snug t-shirts and knits. The only downside is it definitely feels like you're wearing a bra, which is inevitable when you get up to the larger sizes. I've found my normal size to be a little snug in this style, and tried going up one band size or one cup size to be more comfortable although they do fit differently so you might try both to see what works for your body shape. Loved it !! Only thing for the bigger sizes i think it should have a wider strap and more support under the arm or it needs three hooks, not two. If it had three hooks i would have bought a few more.

HerRoom Response: Depending on the size, this bra comes with 2 hooks and 3 hooks in back. Karla from Jamaica W.I.

This is a very ill-fitting bra! I would not recommend it to anyone. My comments run along the lines of Jan, Los Angeles, CA posted September, 2007. I am normally an H-cup but went a size smaller because the H-cup in this style was huge-mongus. The G is just not comfortable and the padding is way too much for as full as size as I am. And I am not a fan of the "uni-boob," which this bra lends itself to cause. I will be sticking to my Panache brands of which I have been quite pleased. They are great to lift and separate an ample bosom! Cynthia from Haslett, Michigan

I happily wore the Le Mystere Tisha bra 955 in a 38D for many years, but recently they started making the bands tighter than standard sizing. Since 38 was as big as that model went, I decided to try the Renaissance version. I was shocked when I received the bra to find I was swimming in the cups. I had re-measured myself and used the bra size finder on this website. There's just way too much room on the top of the cups for the shape, and not enough support on the sides - unlike the Tisha 955 bra which had provided a really nice silhouette. I wish they would just make that bra in bigger sizes. I can't even go down a cup size in this, since it would just flatten me out and look unattractive. Will be returning this and sadly, not buying Le Mystere again. Elizabeth from California

I think this is the best bra ever made. I was professionally fitted and this was the bra chosen for me. I was uncertain at first because it was fairly snug and I don't usually like cups that have any kind of padding in them, but the support is fantastic and makes my waist look slimmer. I won't buy anything else and I have found that HerRoom always has the best prices and they deliver very quickly. Jill from Indiana

Slight abrasion at "arm holes", the bra is cut a bit too close. I am very active and it cuts into my arms as I reach forward. Other wise it's fine and I am happy with it. Jane from Gainesville, FL, USA
