I love these bras. Finding a nice looking supportive bra in large sizes is very difficult. These bras support and lift and really make you look 10lbs lighter. You do have to be diligent about either hand washing or washing on delicate in a lingerie bag or the won't last. Other than that these are well worth the cost. Francesca from Clearwater FL USA

I tried this bra in every size and also the 9955 mystere and I guess this bra just isn't for me. The fit is strange to me. I wished it worked because the bra is built well and looks comfortable but it just didn't work for me. Brandi from Alabama

I agree with many negative reviews that this bra can cause pain and limited motion in the rib cage. It does however provide uncomparable support, with the emphasis on the band (rib/back area) and not the shoulder straps. I would recommend this bra for women with bulk in the rib area to protect the band/wire from rubbing directly on the ribs and those with problems/pain from shoulder straps. This bra truly is made for larger women and did not work for my 34/36 C frame. I would recommend the Lace Tisha bra for smaller busted women, much more comfortable and still good support. This is one serious bra - it's sturdy, opaque, and is the only bra I've ever had that keeps everything lifted and where it's supposed to be. It's completely invisible under snug t-shirts and knits. The only downside is it definitely feels like you're wearing a bra, which is inevitable when you get up to the larger sizes. I've found my normal size to be a little snug in this style, and tried going up one band size or one cup size to be more comfortable although they do fit differently so you might try both to see what works for your body shape. Loved it !! Only thing for the bigger sizes i think it should have a wider strap and more support under the arm or it needs three hooks, not two. If it had three hooks i would have bought a few more.

HerRoom Response: Depending on the size, this bra comes with 2 hooks and 3 hooks in back. Karla from Jamaica W.I.

This is a very ill-fitting bra! I would not recommend it to anyone. My comments run along the lines of Jan, Los Angeles, CA posted September, 2007. I am normally an H-cup but went a size smaller because the H-cup in this style was huge-mongus. The G is just not comfortable and the padding is way too much for as full as size as I am. And I am not a fan of the "uni-boob," which this bra lends itself to cause. I will be sticking to my Panache brands of which I have been quite pleased. They are great to lift and separate an ample bosom! Cynthia from Haslett, Michigan

I happily wore the Le Mystere Tisha bra 955 in a 38D for many years, but recently they started making the bands tighter than standard sizing. Since 38 was as big as that model went, I decided to try the Renaissance version. I was shocked when I received the bra to find I was swimming in the cups. I had re-measured myself and used the bra size finder on this website. There's just way too much room on the top of the cups for the shape, and not enough support on the sides - unlike the Tisha 955 bra which had provided a really nice silhouette. I wish they would just make that bra in bigger sizes. I can't even go down a cup size in this, since it would just flatten me out and look unattractive. Will be returning this and sadly, not buying Le Mystere again. Elizabeth from California

I have been wearing this style for a few years now, and really like it. I hope they never quit making it! Linda from Minneapolis

I think this is the best bra ever made. I was professionally fitted and this was the bra chosen for me. I was uncertain at first because it was fairly snug and I don't usually like cups that have any kind of padding in them, but the support is fantastic and makes my waist look slimmer. I won't buy anything else and I have found that HerRoom always has the best prices and they deliver very quickly. Jill from Indiana

Runs very small.

HerRoom Response: Please see our sizing suggestions. We suggest going up a band size. Erin Holbrook from Groveland, FL

This is the best bra I've owned in 50 years. Simple, attractive, sexy with unbelievable support. Andree from NYC

Slight abrasion at "arm holes", the bra is cut a bit too close. I am very active and it cuts into my arms as I reach forward. Other wise it's fine and I am happy with it. Jane from Gainesville, FL, USA

I purchased this bra 2 years ago after seeing it on Oprah. I'm 52 years old and wear a 42D. I have nipple show through on all other bras I've ever owned. I could only wear blouses made of heavy materials. This bra has opened a whole new wardrobe for me. I can wear any type shirt I want now from the skimpiest materials to the heaviest. I love it. It absolutely changed my life. I feel much more confident in everything I wear. It is very comfortable except that I wish it didn't dig into my shoulders. Other than that, thank you for changing my life. I own 3 and I wear them every day. I wash them on the delicate cycle and never put them in the dryer. I wish I could afford one for every day of the week. I have a birthday coming up, and thats what I'm asking for!!! Thank you again! Becky from Texas

This is an excellent supportive bra for us fuller figure women. I do typically order all my LeMystere bras a band size smaller than what I typically need. With the fullness of the cups I never need to go up a cup size to accommodate the smaller band size. I love this bra. It is very comfortable and supportive. Kathy from West Allis, WI

I found this bra earlier this year in a 40F and it worked out GREAT, but since then I have lost 20 lbs and downsized to a 38F. Now that I lost another 20 lbs the 38F band is too big (and actually the cups have probably been too small, it tips away from my chest). Now I am having a problem finding the correct size, 36F cup size is too small, the band fits fine. So, I tried a 36G and the cups are HUGE! I'm not quite 5'2" and there is too much bra under the arm. From reading the previous comments, maybe the larger cup size bras are not designed for shorter women. I am disappointed, I will have to try and find another bra that was as comfortable and supporting.

HerRoom Response: Given your height and complaint about the wires poking you under the arms, you should consider bras with demi cups. A demi cup bra will have a shorter wire. Also, when you go down a band size, you need to go up a cup size to maintain the same cup volume. Shannon from Cincinnati, OH

Always searching for the right bra - one that doesn't ride up in the back, adequately accommodates my generous breasts, looks good under a sweater or T shirt, and feels comfortable - has been a challenge for me. I found all this features in the Tisha bra. The reviews that I read about "not fitting correctly" are not true if you follow the guidelines provided by Le Mystere. With this correct fitting bra I actually look smaller (yeah!) than I actually am. I wash my bras in the machine but never put them in the dryer and they still look new after owning them for at least a year. Thank you for your wonderful product. Marylin from Hartford CT USA

It keeps the weight of my breasts off my shoulders. VERY comfortable and my nipples DO NOT show through! Submitted from TheUndies.com

The bra really wasn't made for me. I'm only 5' tall and a size 6 other than my breasts which are 36DD. There was way too much bra, it hurt my ribs and my breasts barely fit in there even though I followed the measurement suggestions. It just didn't work out for me. CB from new York

Bra too large for HerRoom sizing chart. Very uncomfortable - even after washing. This is equivalent to wearing a "coat of armor". I consider this two expensive gifts for Goodwill. Jana from Atlanta GA

I purchased this bra for my wife after reading some reviews and recommendations. She told me that this is the greatest bra ever and she wished I had bought her more. She is not one to shop much at all. So I tried buying for her on a whim, now she wants me to shop for her more often. Michael from Plymouth, MI

I was really hoping that this bra would be my salvation, as I have trouble finding a supportive, comfortable bra in my size. As soon as I got the box at home, I immediately tried the bra on. What an extreme disappointment!!! I ordered my usual cup size, but these cups are very "bulky" and had no support! I almost had a "uni-boob". Didn't separate adequately, at all! Maybe for smaller sized women this bra is OK. But, for larger sizes, it's a waste of time and money. I'm returning it immediately!!! Jan from Los Angeles, CA

I really wanted this bra to work since it was on Oprah, but it was really too big and since I liked other bras in the on-line store I decided just to return it. It had too much padding for me, I am already 38H, don't really need any additional help in that area.

HerRoom Response: The padding on this bra is really minimal and is there to provide modesty. Cindy from Gurley,AL,USA

The bra itself was amazingly comfortable and the panties that went with it were too. I couldn't have been more pleased with them. I believe the fitter's comments helped me order accurately. Alexandra from Mankato, MN USA
