This is a very well-made bra, more than adequate to support a larger bust without looking industrial. Even though it's not lacy, it looks feminine because it's so beautifully sculpted. The fit is perfect, and the cups feel like they were custom made for me. It's very flattering to the figure. I only wish I had the same level of comfort in it that others report. I find that the underwires dig in deeply, as if all the weight of my breast is supported by the wire resting on my top rib, and my back hurts after wearing it all day. Also, the straps tend to pop out of their holders when I put it on in with them in the crossed position, and it's almost impossible to reattach them while wearing the bra.

HerRoom Response: Your symptom sounds like your band size is too large. Our suggestion would be to go down a band size to 36 and up a cup size to F in order to maintain the same cup size. As for your straps slipping out, that usually means you don't have your straps adjusted tight enough.

The Le Mystere 9155 is the best bra I have ever worn. It fits better than any bra on the market. I followed the advice on the web site and ordered the 42F instead of the 40F I usually wear; it is like someone took my measurements and custom made a bra for me. Thank you for making the Le Mystere available in my size. This is the only bra for me. Karen from Birmingham, Alabama

This is a great bra! I noticed on most Le Mystere items, this site recommends to go 'up' a band size. This would have been a mistake for me (I actually ordered the Tisha in a 40G instead of my usual 38, and I was swimming in it!). I love how this bra shapes the breasts quite nicely, and is a good, sturdy bra for every day use (and looks classic and cute too!). The plunging neckline is great on this bra as well--I find that many 'larger cup' bras tend to cover too much up, and are readily visible underneath even most v-necks. Not the case with this one! I do recommend it! (The Tisha is a great bra too, very sturdy, but as a personal choice, I like the look of the Carina better)! Ruth from Vancouver, BC, Canada

BOTH STYLES 9155 & 9955 LE MYSTERE BRAS ARE TRUELY WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN ADVERTISED TO BE. COMFORTABLE, QUALITY, BEAUTY, FLATTERING, DURABLE. NOT TOO MANY BRAS FIT THE WAY THEY SHOULD. BUT, THESE BRAS LIVE UP TO EVERYTHING THEY HAVE BEEN ADVERTISED TO BE. THANK YOU TO HERROOM AND TO OPRAH FOR PUTTING IT ALL OUT THERE FOR THE BUSY WOMAN! TERRISA from DALLAS, TEXAS

I was disappointed with this bra. I purchased it because of the convertible straps, but unfortunately, the hooks are only in the back of the bra and not on the front. When using the crossed-straps mode it is virtually impossible to get this bra on without assistance. Also, for DD+ sizes, the support is not the best. As the comparison notes suggest, the 9955 is probably better, but has standard straps. Jen from New York, NY, USA

This bra is very comfortable as far as the underwire is concerned. However after wearing it for about a month and a few washings it has stretched out a considerable amount. It was a perfect fit at first, but I expected a longer wearing time before it was so stretched that it doesn't fit anymore. Also, I have a very active job and I had problems with the straps coming out of the hooks even though I had them as short as they could go and still fit. (HerRoom Response: This bra should last a long time if not put in the dryer. Petite women have commented that the straps do not adjust short enough on this bra.) Jeannie from Charleston SC

I've had this bra for six months now, and it is honestly the best bra I've ever owned -- it is even better than my very pricey Wacoal bra. I can wear it under anything, and it is still comfortable after 16 hours. The molded cups are supportive and shapely, and give me a really beautiful look. The straps and the band stay put -- no more struggling with slippage or riding up. I especially appreciate the shape of the cups and the size of the band in front -- I can wear deep or moderate V-necks without displaying my bra. If I could have one of these bras for every day of the week, I would. elena from coronado, ca

I have tried many bras over the years (age 61)and this is the most comfortable and also attractive! Even though I am not a large woman, this bra is the most flattering I've ever worn. Floy K. from Lodi, CA

This is the only bra (and I have tried everything I could get my hands on) that shapes me beautifully without see-through. The bra is shaped to not show the top of the bra through shear T-shirts. It definitely is the best! Sandy from Salt Lake City, Utah
