Bra is a little stiff. Cups indent funny if pressed. Straps aren't as comfortable as other bras I own. Not uncomfortable enough to return, but not my favorite bra either. Amanda from St. Paul, MN

I was disappointed. I have been measured by a woman in a department store. So I bought the same bra size I bought in the store. This bra however was way to small. Not the band size but the cup size. So I had to send the bra back. Patti

This is my absolute favorite bra! I absolutely love it and own multiples of this particular style! Le Mystere is the only brand I wear, since finding it a few years ago. This bra offers great support, looks very smooth under clothing and gives me great shaping. I love the molded cups. Can you suggest other (similar, lower cut) styles with molded cups, possibly with padding? I recently ordered the La Boheme 959, but have not received it yet. Thank you! I look forward to hearing your suggestions. Melissa from Louisiana/USA

I was extremely disappointed that LeMystere changed the look and fit of this bra. I am unhappy that I spent extra $$ in shipping to return the bras, due to no fault of my own. Since they added the 'tab' in the middle, the fit shows more cleavage and I have too much spillage. My favorite thing about this bra was the smoothness and coverage under tshirts.

Le Mystere Response: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you find that our Carina bra is no longer working well for you. Carina was designed with a very open neckline in order to accommodate garments that offer lower necklines and may be a bit cleavage bearing, however, you should not find yourself with spillage. Perhaps going up one cup size would solve the issue for you and clean up any spillage you've experienced. Carina offers a beautiful fit and we would love for you to continue wearing Le Mystere in the future. Beth from Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

Pretty good fit but front edge slightly too tight for me - leaves an indentation commonly called "four boobs". Live Chat/Customer Service is so superior here - they were able to steer me to the only bras available for full-modesty t-shirt wear in MY size for MY height (5'0"). Lisa from Kokomo IN, USA

It fit fine, however I did not like the stiff feel of the cups. I prefer bras with softer cups. I returned the item.

Le Mystere Response: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that Carina did not work well for you. If you are looking for a softer cup in a t-shirt bra, perhaps you might consider giving our Le Mystere Legere bra 2216 a try. It offers full coverage while maintaining a nice, open neckline and the cup is incredibly light and comfortable! CeCe

I don't care for the elastic straps. They keep falling off the shoulders. The bra itself is nicely made and fits perfectly. I didn't realize that I had ordered the bra that had the ability to cross straps in the back--my mistake. Diane from Waldorf, MD, USA

SO uncomfortable and not made well. The underwire popped out the third time I wore it.

Le Mystere Response: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that this bra did not work for you. We do hope that you will give Le Mystere another try. Typically, wires popping out of a bra is an indication that the cup is being strained and is too small. Perhaps you might consider having a fit specialist double check your size to ensure that this does not continue to happen in the future. You may also consider trying a bra with a wider under wire such as our Dream Tisha or Lace Tisha bras. In addition to a wider under wire, these styles have a continuous band at the base of the bra to help support the weight of the breast tissue. Elizabeth from Boston, MA

This bra was too wide in the band and full in the cup for my petite frame. I love the brand and have worn it before but need something that fits a narrow chest but full cup size with out so much fabric.

Le Mystere Response: Thank you for your feedback. Carina is an awesome bra that gives great coverage, but I do understand how it may become overwhelming for someone petite. We are happy to hear that you love Le Mystere and would like to suggest a couple of other options that will offer you the same versatility as 9155 within the brand. Both the Manhattan 9855 and Envie 7959 offer the convertibility of Carina with a little "less" bra. The Manhattan has more of a sexy, plunge neckline (great for v-necks, wrap dresses, etc.). Envie, which still provides a very open neckline, has a little more coverage and beautiful "tacking" ability at the center front that enables the under wire to "grab" the breast tissue and hold. Both bras feature soft cups and three strap positions.Either option is an attractive, yet functional convertible bra. You just have to decide what shape you like. Good luck! NaNa from spartanburg sc

Average. Straps a bit thin. Overall fit ok--but not great. Ordered my regular size and both the band and cup were too small. Instead of ordering up to a 42DD, I opted to try another bra entirely.

Le Mystere Response: Thank you for your feedback. It is not uncommon for women with a fuller bust to find they may need to go up in cup size to compromise for the lack of coverage that a bra with a low center front offers. A low center front limits cup depth and proper anchoring for those who may have breasts that are close together, or are just very full. As for the straps, although they may be thin, they are very supportive and are designed with tank tops in mind-so that you don’t have to worry about a bulky strap hanging out and if it does show it’s actually a bit pretty. Perhaps you might find our Dream Tisha or Baroque styles more suitable. They both offer a bit more coverage and the strap on our Dream Tisha is more substantial as well. We do hope that you will continue to try Le Mystere and that you might find some products from our collection that suit you a bit better. ad from ky

I bought my first Carina 9155 in Florida while on vacation. When I got home and realized it was the best bra I have ever owned, I threw my others out, and ordered several more. It is not easy to find this bra in Toronto, so I am ecstatic to find this site. Great bra! Comfy! Long-lasting! Versatile...I wear it daily, for dressy, and sometimes if I forget a sports bra I have worn it...Now I am going to try the 955 as well. leslie from Toronto

I have worn these bras for a while, the 2 I just got were tighter than ones in the past. I had to return for a larger width. This batch is running smaller than usual. les

Definitely not the bra for me. I bought this bra specifically because it converted to a criss-cross in the back. Unfortunately when I had it in the criss-crossed position the straps hit directly below my shoulder blades giving me the oddest back bulge ever. Also I agree with the HerRoom comment that the cups are a bit far apart which on me had a flattening effect. Jessica from Sacramento, CA

This is the first le mystere carina bra I've tried and I tell you if you are a size 32f the bra has to much molding and if your petite size the straps are to big you can not adjust them. Among other things the inside lining in the back of the bra is rough and itchy and pinches the skin. I guess Im back to the drawing board. nina h from malibu ca

Hated it. I've had some success with Le Mystere 9955, so I tried several other styles - none of which worked. The cups on this bra run much smaller, and the band MUCH looser. Even though I ordered a smaller band, it was still too loose, and Le Mystere makes nothing smaller than 32. I so think this bra would work for small cup sizes, but not for me. I will stick with Fantasie. Alex from Texas, USA

I bought this bra from a "Bra Lady" show. It is wonderful! I agree about the straps coming loose, but if you put a couple of stitches in the loop, you will solve the problem. These are the only bras I will go out of the house in, and people have asked me if I've lost weight - haven't, it's just the bra hauling these puppies up where they belong! Lara from Columbia, SC

I purchased a Le Mystere La Rouge bra while on vacation in Florida and loved it. I searched everywhere in Michigan and couldn't find another one just like it. I googled their name and found out that style was discontinued. I took a leap of faith and tried a different style, and LOVE it also. It is true to size, comfortable, flattering in low cut blouses and sweaters and worth every penny. kinman from Croswell, MI
