This bra seems to fit a lot smaller then other sizes I have tried.

La Leche League Response: We have actually made the cups on this bra bigger then our first production on this style - you may need to try a 44D. Lucinda from Salt Lake City, UT

OK, but ran very big! I returned this because it was just too big. Also, the cups were attached so high on the back that they didn't bend down easily to nurse. I was disappointed.

La Leche League Response: I am a 34B and it fits me perfectly. (I have been measured by at least 3 fit certified bra specialists. The cups are padded and molded so they are not going to drop down as easily as a non padded bra would. Beth from UAE

Very comfortable and flattering bra. I'm a plus size woman (size18) but I do not have large breast (40B) it has been very difficult finding a nursing bra that fit right until I found this one! I have it in nude & black, love them both! MamaG from San Diego Ca

I am very disappointed in this bra. Let me preface by saying that I have a 32 DD/E 4214x that looks exactly like the bra pictured, with 3/4" straps, etc. I love the bra, but after I had my baby, my ribcage grew and the band was too tight. I decided to order a replacement with a larger band and smaller cup size...34 D. This new bra has many differences including MUCH larger cups, however my main issue is the smaller straps (less than 1/2"...even though the listing still says 3/4"). Also, some of the connectors are different and the quality seems a lot less than the old bra. If I didn't have the old bra, I'd assume this just wasn't the right bra for me. Unfortunately, now all I can do is look at pictures of my old bra online and try to use an extender on the old one until it wears out. Sara from Los Angeles/CA

I just received this bra, and think it looks fabulous. I usually wear underwire, but for nursing have found wire-free to be the better option. This bra provides a lot of lift, nice shape, padding that smooths, and has a bit of stretch in the cup to accommodate slight fluctuations in breast size. It also doesn't give the uniboob look (but to be honest, doesn't give the same separation as underwire--wouldn't work with a wrap dress for example). It is a nicer version of my Dynabelly bras that are now too big on me, 6 months into BFing. SBR from Queens, NY

I really like this bra. I like that it doesn't require underwire, and I still felt supported. It's really comfortable, and the padding is just enough that I know I won't nip out! The fit was nice (a little tight around, but I'm due any day, so that will probably change!) and the cut works well for most tops. Good bra with a great price! Sarah from Iowa

This is a really nice bra, I love the feel and form, but I wish I had bought a larger size. It is too tight for me now, and will probably not fit at all once I am nursing. I bought it on clearance and cannot exchange it. Katrina from Willmar, MN

This is a terrible bra. I took my measurements. I am a custom picture framer, so I know how to measure, it is my life. Well, my ribcage measurement is 31 and my bust measurement is 36, supposedly that equals a 32 DD/E according to Her Room. I paid for the first shipping on this bra. Wrong size, paid for return shipping. Order 34 DD/E as recommended by customer service. Paid more shipping. Again, wrong size, still too small in the band, but too big in the cup. So I still don't know what size I wear. But, this bra is badly made, uncomfortable and just wrong. And now I have to pay more shipping to return the second bra. About $20 in shipping and the bra was only $32 and Her Room refuses to pay for the return shipping even though they are the ones who recommended these sizes to me. Bravada makes great nursing bras and I should have just paid the $50 and went with them.

La Leche League Response: If you measured 31 under your rib cage then you should have tried a 36DD to start with. Please try this size and see if this doesn't work better for you. Ivy from Morgantown, WV

This is a good bra made bad by poor attention to details. The wide back strap is nice, the cup contours are nice, the shoulder straps are nice, but there are simply too many problems to be overlooked. The first and most egregious is the little metal clasps that hold the cups up. They are made of metal - very thin metal, and rather sharp metal. It digs into your shoulders when you sleep on your side - badly. I have red marks where it rubs, and have taken to wrapping the clasps in tissues when I go to sleep. The little band that goes over the tops of your breasts (the bit that's left when you put the cup down, not sure what to call it) stretches out a bit, so it fits great the first time you put the bra on but after a few wearings tends to be loose - it needs some better elasticity. The cups are also kind of hard to roll down so they stay down, but compared to the other issues that one's pretty minor. So, my opinion is that this *could* be a good bra, if someone just took the time to fix a few small but incredibly annoying issues.

La Leche Response:This is one of La Leche League's very successful and accepted styles. This is the first negative comment we have seen, but we have informed our production team of these issues that you have stated. Thank you. Sara from Chicago/IL/US

I love my new La Leche League Soft Cup Padded Bra. I have a tough to find size, but Her Room had it. They also send it so well packaged, with tissue paper, that I felt like I was shopping from a popular store. The bra is great because it has a great shape and gives great support even with no underwire. It also is low cut enough to wear without showing under my shirts, but is still modest. The straps are thick and soft and the bra is true to size. >p> I also love this bra because I had a biopsy done on one of my breasts where they had to remove a lot of breast tissue. Due to breastfeeding that breast is very much smaller than the other, and non padded bras show the difference even under my clothes. This bra holds the shape and smooths over the difference so that its not noticeable. I was so embarrassed about this issue that I considered stopping breastfeeding or getting and prosthesis. But, this bra did the trick and gave me my confidence back. Now I like my post pregnancy curves.

The only reasons I don't give it 5 stars is because its not easy to get the padded cup out of the way when feeding. I have to roll it under, and it usually gets some drool on it. But, the material dries very fast and is easy to spot clean with a burp rag or baby wipe. The second reason I give it 4 stars is that it would be nice have a mesh pocket or something to put my pads in. I used disposables, and they don't stick great to the cup. Since I have to roll the cup up to feed, they sometimes get bunched up when I go to close the bra back up. Even still, I would buy this bra again and again, and I would recommend it to friends. I liked the light padding at first, but found that there were some problems with this bra. The clasps were difficult to detach when I tried them on, the padded cups didn't seem to fold down enough for my baby to get a proper latch, and after folding down the cup a couple times, they seem like they wouldn't maintain their shape. I noticed it puckered around the seams towards the center and I didn't like how it looked afterward. Fahm from Puyallup, WA, USA

This is the best nursing bra I have bought yet. True to size, comfortable, lightly padded to hide nipples, low cut enough for my tops, high coverage of breast for modesty. Kristen from Raleigh, NC, USA

The bra padding is great, especially when you want extra good coverage and leak protection. The size 40D I ordered was a little tight. Otherwise, overall it is a great padded bra for nursing. M from Barrow, Alaska USA

I love the design of the bra. The cup is great because it doesn't show nipples through like a lot of nursing bras. I thought the 34 was a little smaller than most 34s. I ordered a 36 the second time. But overall, I think it's a great bra. Deidra from Edmond, OK

After two and a half years of searching for a nursing bra, I finally found one! As a 32B, my selection has been quite limited. This bra FITS, SUPPORTS and FLATTERS. The band is true to size, the cup does not minimize (why would a B want to be minimized??), and the silhouette looks natural. This bra moves with me, yet stays where it should be; it doesn't ride up. The sling is supportive and when I unclasp the nursing hook, the clasp doesn't end up at my shoulder (necessitating a two hand clasping or attempting to stretch the cup all the way to my shoulder). I've spent a lot more money on "higher end" bras that don't even hold a candle to this one. Amanda from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
