Well, if you're nursing and you have to go strapless, this is probably the best option out there. Not the best support for my bigger chest, but I wasn't expecting a lift-and-separate type of bra. Michelle from Florida

The padding in this bra is substantial and more than I was expecting which is a good thing. The support is also surprisingly good. I'm not sure how I feel about the bra opening from the bottom. With a strapless top I'll have to pull my top down and the bra up to nurse - which is a lot of fussing.

La Leche League Response: You can wear this bra either way. Turn it upside down and have the opening at the top if that is more comfortable for you. Kate from Chicago

I bought this bra to wear with spaghetti strap shirts. The bra is extremely tight even for my small frame and I even got a medium. It also wears too high so I can only wear it with a couple of shirts without it showing at the top. I like that it is padded which was another reason I bought it because you can't see bulky breast pads through it. All in all it's not worth $30.

La Leche League Response: It sounds like you need a large size. The bra is seamless and knitted on a circular tube the fabric stretches and is so comfortable to wear. I have never heard of anyone saying it is too tight unless they are in a size smaller than they should be. I have never heard the complaint that the bra wears too high. Nicole from California

Uncomfortable, too small, flattens breasts.

La Leche League Response: All three items combined would cause me to conclude, the size you ordered was to small. Amber from WA, USA

This would be a GREAT bra... if it fit. I am not a large person. I am 5'2 -- I was 145 when I got pregnant (not thin, but not large either. I wear a med-large shirt and usually a size 10-12 pant. This bra is SO tight it makes my modest "back fat" pinch out over the top and bottom, and the top and bottom roll up (don't lie flat). Instead of looking full and round like in the marketing photo, its just so tight that it squishes me flat. If I'm too "big" for an XL, what do larger women wear???

La Leche Response: We are sorry, but it sounds like the XL is too small for you. Rebecca from Maine/USA

This bra is comfortable for a strapless since it doesn't have wire. The shaping isn't the greatest, but about what I'd expect from a bandeau. Two negatives: since it's tube-style you need a cami if you plan to wear it with anything low-cut. I did expect this from the photos. Also, the removable padding is a pain. I ended up taking it out because every time I lifted the front panel to nurse my baby the pads would fold/roll up inside, and it is very difficult to get them back into place without taking off the bra. Imagine trying to "fix" your bra while holding a squirming baby and simultaneously trying not to expose yourself to the whole world. I figured my disposable nursing pads are enough for discretion anyway. That is why I only give it four stars. But considering I've been wishing for a strapless nursing bra since my first was born two years ago, it isn't half bad. Melissa from Sacramento, CA
