Loved this but definitely would need a bigger size to wear, unfortunately the largest they carry in this is a 38DD. The band was a bit snug, I could handle that but the cup was too small and padded. Last thing I need is padding in the cup, I'm big enough and it makes it harder to get a good fit when already large. A shame it doesn't come in a larger cup size as I am sure it would be the perfect piece for my wedding dress. Chantal from midland/mi

The cup size fit great but the mid-section was to big and bulged out when I sat down. I had to return it.

I read what other said before I bought it and I have to agree with a lot of them. If you're getting it to wear under a light weight dress or shirt..well it won't work. The boning shows through. My main purpose for it was my wedding dress, which is not light weight at all, so it works well for me.

This is a great bustier to wear under a strapless dress. My dress is slightly gathered in the front, so that the boning isn't visible. I found this bustier creates a nice smooth line down the sides, and offers great support with a natural shape. This was important to me. I've taken away one star because the front boning can tend to "jab" a little when I sit down... I don't think this is because of my height (I'm 5 ft 7) since I'm in the normal range. Otherwise, great great bra! So happy to have found it. bride to be from MA

Ordered two bras in this style. Needed support for a strapless bridesmaid gown without having to tug all day! I really loved this bustier, particularly that the back is scooped lower than most. I wear a 36DD, and that's what I ordered after reading many of the reviews. Many said they ordered their size, and it fit well. Others needed either smaller or larger sizes. I am in my late fifties, and while pretty fit, my back isn't as firm as it was a few (or more) years ago. So even though the bustier fit, there was some spill over in the back. Not an attractive look I'm sure we can all agree. I returned the bustier, and am reordering in a 38DD and a 40D to see what those fits are like. My advice would be if your bra doesn't give you a totally smooth look in the back, order a larger size. Other than that, this is a great bustier, well made, and the length fit me particularly well. While it gives very nice cleavage and breast uplift/support... the boning on the tummy bulges out very quickly and is very unattractive. I am very thin so it's very noticeable. I can only wear this with dresses that aren't form fitting, because it makes me appear to have a large tummy. amanda from wichita, ks

The corset does not give a lot of lift, but I had expected that from the other reviews. The real problem is that when you sit down the bottom of the bustier bulges out and makes it look like you have a gut. Not very flattering. Had to return my bustier because it was damaged, but I would have returned it anyway. D from Madison, WI

I really like this longline bra in terms of fit and the smooth, sleek design, but compared to other longline bras, it just did not have the same support. I noticed that the portion in between the breast kind of sunk down instead of staying straight up, and when I bent over, I felt like there was risk of fall out. So not for me, but maybe for smaller-chested gals.

I bought this to wear under my wedding gown which is a halter style with a low back and pretty deep V-neck. The overall design was good for this style of dress because nothing hung out the back, sides, or front of the dress, but unfortunately it did not work for me. Painfull; their is NO padding between you and the interior corset bonning. The hard bonning cut's into your skin within minutes of putting it on. This is by far the most painful and badly designed bra I have ever put on. Within 3 minutes I had big red welts where the front structure cut into my skin. Plus the bottom was to big. Avoid this torture device!!

Jezebel Response: This bustier is the best selling style in the Jezebel bustier collection, so I don't know what went wrong with this customer. The only clue I have is when she said it is too big around the bottom. That makes me think she is wearing it too high on the body. It needs to ride lower on the waist. This was a nice product and the bra fit reasonably well. I was delighted to find hooks for garter straps.
