I had a pair, same size, different color/fabric, a stone-washed look dark stretch demin that fit a little differently, shorter and tighter than these two pair. Incredibly comfortable and soft. The rise is not uncomfortably low - just perfect for me. Only complaint is that they run very large - the small don't fit like leggings - really loose fit. I had to take in the waist. Should have gotten an extra small. I am 5' and weigh 98. g from new york
