I ordered a large, but due to the fabric, although very silky soft, the thong cuts into my hip and leaves a bulge through my pants. I think they run small due to the type of clingy material. Wish I could return them! They'll never be worn. bostonbased

Lovely fabric but fit is not like in the pictures. This is a very high leg thong (which the box it comes in shows) and for it to sit right it has to be pulled up quite a bit. Not uncomfortable but definitely not a flattering look on me. Ulli from Sweden

I normally don't wear a thong, but I have two summer microrfiber halter dresses that have to be worn with one. The Hanro is the choice.
