I have been looking for a bra to replace my very old cotton bras that were made with a double layer of cotton and all elastic was covered. They had a deep plunge, but full coverage. This Hanro bra comes the closest. It needs another layer of cotton. The back rides up. The elastic bothers my skin. If it were less expensive, I would buy another and attach them to make what I want.

We would suggest that you get professionally measured to alleviate the problem of the back riding up. When the back is riding up, it usually means that the fit is not right. JGP

I found the cup size to be too large. It you are a full A cup, it could work. SD

The cups on this bra are too deep. I normally wear a 36B or 34C, and have to wear a 36A in this bra. In an A cup the cups don't seem to be as wide (far apart) as they are in the B cup. The width of the cups in the B cup really fits better, but because the cups are so deep I had to go to an A cup. The stitching on the interior is a little scratchy, so it doesn't feel as soft as I had expected, and I do think it is over-priced, but I've had such difficulty finding a wire-free bra that doesn't just squish my girls to my chest that I continue to buy Hanro. This bra, and one by another brand are the best wire-free bras I've found so far.

Everyone has a different shape, and it really becomes evident when it come to fitting bras. The best advice I can give is to get fitted by a professional bra fitter in one of your favorite stores to insure your are wearing proper size. PW

I love Hanro. It's worth the expense, because their products are made so well they last forever--and the styles are so timeless you don't mind wearing them for years. I'm 5'1" and consistently measure as 34A. The bra material felt nice, but the cups were enormous - felt more like a 'B' - and the lining was a bit too sheer for me. Honestly, all I want is something that gives 'modesty' and that I can stand to wear all day. I've done far, far better with the much less expensive Maidenform Girl bras in a 36A.
