These are a very attractive high-rise panty, with lots of lace between the hip and low waist. But the overall feel of the fabric is somewhat loose so this isn't a panty that will hold your stuff, if you know what I mean. There just isn't any shaping whatsoever...back they go. I read all the reviews on these panties, and based on prior comments that they run large, I ordered accordingly. But, upon receiving them, there is no way these warrant a price tag of $38! They are plain old polyester!The lace top is so slack, it just doesn't hug enough not to roll down! If I hadn't tried and washed them, I would have returned for a refund.

However, we are a little confused by your assertion that they are made of polyester. The body fabric is an exclusive microfiber filament rayon-spandex jersey (which comes from cellulose, and breathes almost like cotton). The gusset is 100% cotton, and the lace hip band is a nylon-spandex stretch lace. JC from Estero FL

When I opened the package and held these up I was surprised at how large they were. They looked more like extra-large than medium. Also didn't like the bumpy feel of the lace.

As compared to Hanky Panky's retro v-kini in the same size, I found that these undies seemed a bit on the baggy side in the rear end and so I returned them to exchange for the v-kini.

Hanky Panky Response: You are correct. These two cuts do fit differently. The retro lace V-kini is made with a lace which has a high spandex content, enabling the panty to have a firmer, snugger fit. It also has a V- shape design, which gives it a closer contour. The silky skin high rise is made of a softer lace and light, silky jersey with a lower spandex content in a different silhouette. Different designs offer solutions for varying body types. The fit is good and quite comfortable. It is a pretty panty and the fabric, lace and construction are quality. Overall, I like it a lot. The one thing that is making me nuts about it is that the cotton crotch is about an inch too short in the front so that the fabric absorbs any moisture that might be there and it leaves a mark. It washes beautifully but in the mean time I don't feel like I can wander around in my panties and t's because it looks like I had a problem, even if I didn't. Make the panel a bit longer to cover all the necessary spots and we have a winner! jan from nj
