I've never bought a spacer foam bra before and didn't know what to expect. The foam is incredibly thin, not even foam-like at first glance. It doesn't provide any nipple modesty, which is the only reason I wanted it. I'm not really sure I understand what the point of this type of foam is. Also, it is really scratchy at the seams. The fit was great and I love that I can get an A cup that still has some decent coverage. I must have large area, flat breasts, because I constantly get "spill-over" lines with A cups, but B cups are way too large. Not all of us with A cups have golf ball sized breasts. Any suggestions on the right bra for this situation is more than welcome! DJ from Baltimore

I love this bra, it offers small amt of support and not adding so much bulk to the breast size. It also doesn't have the metal bindings on the sides like some of the bras have which can make the sides of the breasts very uncomfortable. cheryl from miami, fl, usa

Very disappointed...straps are rough on right side and caused chaffing. It's disappointing that I paid so much money to wear it once and have to throw it out. Diane from Glen Arm, MD USA

I was fitted for this bra in Canada a few years ago and purchased several as the fit and comfort are wonderful. It is the ONLY bra that has fit since having had cancer, mastectomy and reconstruction. (the nipple reconstruction is more flat). The material and no underwire are perfect and give a perfect outline under sweaters. V T from USA

I have found this bra to be very comfortable. It provides moderate support, and makes a great everyday bra, and even a good tee-shirt bra (unless it is very cold). It fits very well, and I am hard to fit. Joni from San Diego/CA/USA

I think the addition of encased side boning would make this a 5-star bra. Other Grenier bras have this and it tends to provide a lot of support and shaping, at least for me. The spacer foam fabric is nice, but the exposed seam where the cup meets the side is indeed very, very scratchy. It bothered me a LOT after just 5 minutes of wear! Also, the sides tend to buckle down on me. Back it goes. If they encase the seam and add boning, I'll definitely try this bra again though, I really did like the cup fabric. Just enough thickness for support and coverage, but cool and light.

Grenier Response: Style 8593, the spacer fabric which is appreciated by most customers (it is one of our 10 best bras), might not be appropriate for someone with very sensitive skin. Perhaps you should try one of our new molded no seam bras, Grenier style 8564 , it has a feminine look thanks to the floral jacquard. d from oh

This bra is very disappointing. I have a difficult time finding 38A bras, so I was very excited to try this one. It fits very well, but it is terribly uncomfortable. The seams are rough and irritate my skin to the point of a minor rash whenever I wear the bra. The material has an abrasive quality. I will be returning it.

I'm so sorry to say that this bra was possibly the scratchiest garment of any type that I have ever put on, certainly the scratchiest bra. The fasteners, the cups, the trim--EVERYTHING scratched big time. HerRoom is such a good company that I hate to report this. The item had to be back ordered while (I was told) HerRoom worked out something with the supplier. Perhaps it was quality. I truly need a 38A (so hard to find) so I'm hoping HerRoom will be able to offer a non-itch version soon!

Grenier Response:The fabric used to make this bra is ultra soft, however some skin types are much more sensitive to elastics and trim. Our products are guaranteed. Please return this bra back to HerRoom so that Grenier may inspect with their quality control team. We recommend Grenier 8564 bra in size 38A, which is a very similar pattern without the lined cups, and made with a very soft and smooth fabric well liked by many. Linda from Chapel Hill, NC, USA
