The most comfortable bra ever! My search is over. I was trying to find a non-wired, non-padded, natural bra and this one fits the bill. The bra is very comfortable. The only negative is the straps. I wish they were slightly thinner. Otherwise, it's perfect. Very good quality. Jane from Washington DC

Bra is very comfortable and is the best fitting bra I've found in years. Stays in place and does not ride up even when I'm cleaning the horses stalls! Virginia from Middleton, Idaho

I have always worn a size 32B bra, but with this model I had to go to a 34C to get a good fit. Monika

I have had breast cancer and am very sensitive to anything but cotton so I am still having trouble with the elastic in the straps and the metal hooks. I get very itchy from those areas, thought the top of the straps could be smaller, thinner. Thanks

Grenier Response: Thank you for your comment, we understand that you might be very sensitive due to your condition; I would suggest Grenier 8505 Sports bra, I think it would better suit your needs due to the hardware being covered. leslie from Col. usa

I'll be sending this back. I could barely breath when I fastened the band it was so tight. And something about the fabric itches. (Wierd since it's all cotton)

Grenier Response: It is difficult to give feedback not knowing your correct measurements. As far as the fabric goes, the bra is a blend of 90% Cotton and 10% Spandex, which is very common. We are sorry to hear that it did not mesh well with your skin. Louise from Germantown, NY

This bra is not made for full figured women even as a leisure bra. The racerback clip in the back is not as pictured and is not comfortable at all.

Grenier Response: You are correct about the picture, we have since fixed the problem. The bra was manufactured with different color sliders than what was originally shown. It had no effect on the fit of the bra. Laura from mississippi

Comfortable bra. It is shaped much differently than the lace bra I recently reviewed, but still a comfortable lightweight bra. While it is not a feminine lacy bra, colors are available. Sharon from Maryland

Bra lacks any support...even if you are a small cup size you still want some comfort and support!! Straps kept coming off shoulders regardless of any attempted adjustments made. Would not order this item again. In fact I will be returning them unfortunately. My quest yet continues for a bra that will give good support and stay in place!!

Grenier Response: Style 8566 is one of our best selling bras, it has a double ply cotton cup and caters to a small figure, there is also a back hook to attach the shoulder straps together in the back, forming an “X” holding the shoulder straps in place for customers with drooping shoulders. High cotton content in cups & LINING for sensitive skin. Machine-washable. Well designed. Would be even better if 32-in. band size was offered. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I am allergic to latex, so I have few choices. I'm glad to have found this. However, I wish there were more control at the sides, below the armpits. Hester from NY, NY, US

Normally, I love Grenier bras - they're cotton and they're comfortable. They are scratchy, very wide and much too short. Ann from Washington, DC

This bra fits fine, but doesn't seem to have any particularly special features that would justify the high-ish price. Something on the band is scratching my back, but I haven't figured out what it is yet. And there is a little metal tab on the ring in the left strap. I don't know what the tab is for, but it looks like it could snag clothes. I bent the little tab down and rotated the ring so the tab is inside the band. Becca from Berkeley CA

I don't know yet, as I haven't worn it. Will try on again, and possibly have to return for next larger size. I am not sure it will give me enough back support. I expected it would be a little more substantial, not so much like a sports bra. LINDA from Quincy, IL, USA

I love these bras, they are the best quality cotton bra that I have found. I only wear cotton and it is to find a quality wire free bra. I have been wearing these for over a year now with no real visible signs of wear. When I compared the new ones to the old, they were the same size after multiple washings and drying. The only complaint I have is the Grey one is 45% polyester so I had to exchange those for another color. myrna from globe az

I am desperately seeking a non-padded bra in size 36A that is or will convert to racerback--and have straps long enough to be comfortable. The straps on this were way too short to wear hooked across the back (converted to racerback). I returned it :(

Grenier Response:Unfortunately, this is the only racerback bra Grenier makes. Are you sure she did not get the short version style 8566S in error? Ashley from TX

This was a tight 32, unfortunately, so if you are more or less in between 32 and 34, it might not work for you. Just a little more stretch, and I think it would have worked for me. It's a very nice design with the features I seek in a bra -- unpadded, smooth molded "cups and not overbuilt -- so I hated having to send it back.

Grenier Response:We recommend that you try a 34A and attach the back closure at the tightest. Kristine from St. Paul

I ordered the short strap version of the same bra first. I felt the straps were a bit short so I ordered 2 of the regular version and one is perfect and one is bigger and a bit loose in the straps and the band. The black was perfect the natural was a bit big. Not sure why but I am still happy with them and if there was a way to find the small one out of the bunch, I would order it again. cheri from aptos

I was so disappointed in this bra. The other comments said this was a great bra, but I disagree. I usually wear a 32B, but ordered a C since the reviews said it runs a little small. The C was still way too small and there is NO support. The material is extremely cheap and can easily be seen through. I would NOT recommend this bra- I'm sending it back. Lilly from Indiana

This bra runs small in all ways including length of strap. I found it very uncomfortable, and if I hadn't already washed it, as I do with all cotton bras before wearing, I would return it. Tori from London

Okay, this is the bra of my dreams. Not that I actually dream about bras. The material is really soft and the straps are just the right width to be really comfortable. I like the extra layer of material for coverage under tshirts, etc. And the fit and support are superb. The shaping is more flattering than I've ever seen in a no-wire bra, and everything stays put. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I would love to see a lightly padded version of this bra for days when I really can't risk any nipple show-through. Jean from Boston, MA

I love this bra. I wear all my sports bras with nothing over them - that is, I wear them as workout tops - and this one stays in place even during yoga. and its comfortable and it fits just like every other 34B bra fits me. I love it. And if I didn't have an aversion to having more than one of each style bra, I'd buy another one in a minute. sue from san francisco ca
