I love this bra. Soft and comfortable, but does the job. I have more than one. Elaine from Chappaqua, NY, USA

I have sent it back for an exchange. I ordered the wrong size. The handy mailing sticker was much appreciated. Carole from Irvine, CA USA

The bra is fairly comfortable, and I agree with several other comments that it runs small around the ribs. If it were longer around the ribs, this would improve the comfort. I also would have liked to have known in advance that this bra has no padding or fill in the cup, and so it doesn't work to wear it under thinner fabrics. I was hoping to find a bra that would breathe so that I could wear it in warmer temperatures, but since it doesn't conceal, I am not comfortable wearing it under summer tops. Mary from AZ, USA

Too floppy, didn't hold it's shape or mine at all. After wearing, I realized how bad it was. Nancy from NH

This is a cotton bra with support and no wires. The straps are wide and can't be worn with tank tops. I love the way the straps don't slip off my shoulders. The bra in my regular size was tight around my rib cage. I returned it and purchased the 38b. Jacqueline from United States

I ordered this bra a year ago. I like the way the wide straps stay up on my shoulders. The same bra in the same size was very tight in the rib cage when I ordered it this year. I reordered it the next size up. Jacqueline from United States

So comfortable. Mostly cotton so it really breaths. Great summer bra. We have no air conditioning and people are staying with us. I cannot go braless in my home and this bra provides support, but it is cool. Lori Clair from Novato Ca, USA

The 34A is not as tight when I wish to wear racerback; otherwise 32A fits well, band is snug. My first ones lasted approximately 7-8yrs. before color becoming "dull" as whites often do-again, I hand wash my lingerie so it lasts longer. Love this brand-exceptional quality and durability-please don't discontinue! Thank you Kat from MA

I love this bra. Trying to find a wireless bra that wasn't bed attire, nor ballistic. I have been looking for years! cathy from san clemente

The bra fits very well and is comfortable. I do have a longer-than-average torso, however, and for me, longer straps would have been better. Michele from PA

I was very excited to find that Grenier made a convertible bra that is cotton - perfect for summer comfort and tank tops. I love that it's convertible and the straps are comfortable. I ordered my normal size in Grenier, even though the review said the band runs tight. I actually found the opposite to be true; the band runs big on the first hook with the cross back conversion. Now, I realize I won't get that much wear out of it because when it starts to give, I have nowhere to go to tighten it. It has less support than my other Grenier bras, but enough for me. I will wash it in hot water and hope that tightens the band, but I don't think I will order it again. I am still searching for a convertible bra without wires. I am not sure why other reviews said it's not enough coverage because I have this in black and you can't see through it at all. Overall, it's not a real winner and the sizing advice was terrible. This bra is similar to a Grenier I purchased previously, so I ordered it in the same size 36B, even though that is larger than my usual size in other bras. I sent it back for a 34A, which I have not yet received. My guess is that the 8566 is truer to size than my old one. Michele from PA

So pleased to find a cotton bra that is affordable. It's so nice to have a bra with straps that stay secure on my shoulders. The cups run a little fuller than most brands. Love the comfort of this bra. Jacqueline from United States

I ordered a band size up on the recommendation of another reviewer, but I found the band size on this bra to be accurate. The 34 band is slightly too big for my 32 frame. Tara from Cambridge

I have sensitive skin, so I thought this one would be good bra for me - but it's way too itchy on my back. I still give it 2 stars because it's my personal problem, and overall the shape looks good. Helena from San Diego, CA USA

I like a cotton, un-padded, no-wires bra for everyday wear and this bra fits the bill. I wish the straps were narrower but I can live with it as is. It's a well made bra and fits well. Susan from San Diego, CA USA

Band was tight, and fabric felt low quality, especially the elastic trim, which is a bit scratchy. Straps are very short. Kate from Vermont

I give item a 4 star instead of a 5, due to there was hardly any padding in the cups. The straps were perfect though, loved their comfort. Lynn from Anderson, SC

The straps were too short for my size so I lengthened the straps. I also needed an insert to increase the bra to a size 38. The cups were fine. I wish you would make a bra with size 38A. It used to be a common size. The material is cotton, which I like, but I don't want to squeeze myself into a size 36. Ingrid

The straps are short. I wish this bra came in size 38A with same cups and longer straps. I will have to use an insert to widen the band and I will have to move the straps in to prevent them from sliding down the shoulders. Unfortunately this is the best bra that I can find. I wish that sizes 38A and 38AA would come back.

GrenierResponse: We do offer some great fitting bras in size 38A, which might be more appropriate for this customer: our Grenier No Wire Bra 8564 has no wire, is made in a silky Nylon/ spandex fabric, shoulder straps are adjustable in the back and the bra cups are moulded (without padding) so there are no seams on the bust. If looking for more opacity, I suggest Grenier Soft Cup Spacer Foam Bra 8593 moulded in a tridimensional “spacer” fabric which breaths and conforms easily to different breast shapes. Irma (pend)

This bra is the best, of all the cotton bras on this site. I tried them all. Soft cotton with Good support and feel. No extra padding or overcontruction to give a good supportive lightweight bra. mary from ypsilanti Michigan usa

Bra is VERY comfortable. Stays in place...does not ride up or move at all. Have always worn a B cup, but in this bra a C cup fits perfect. Ginny from Middleton, Id. Canyon

I am a 32A and am slim and don't need a lot of support, but this bra shows it all: my nipples show, and the material is all bunchy. I'm returning this bra. runnergirl from New York
