This is a beautiful bra but as I believe one other reviewer said, it is very flimsy. The cotton is very thin. The biggest problem though is the band is so tight I could hardly fasten it. It is the tightest of the Grenier bands which tend to run tight anyway. I had to return it for that reason. Too bad, because the cups actually give a flattering, attractive shape and fit well. I would say this would be a nice bra for someone who doesn't have any extra 'flesh' to worry about under the arms or on the back, and who is looking for something without a whole lot of support or padding. This bra fits well but the stitching that fastens the lace to the bra cup is too itchy! I would not repurchase this item. Carol from Portland, OR

I love this bra. I originally found it in a boutique shop in NH and have been looking ever since. It is just so comfortable when I am moving all day. Will buy over and over and........you get the idea! Stephanie from Baldwin, MD

If this bra is a 38D,I think I will need a 38ddd. I will return the beginner bra

Grenier Response: I am sorry you were not satisfied with your first purchase, we are glad to hear that you are returning your first bra to try another size. Teresa from flushing, mich usa

I liked the bra very much but ordered it because I have a latex allergy. After wearing the bra most of the day, I developed a rash where the lace inserts were. Can't wear it. An expensive lesson.

Vendor Response: I am sorry to hear you had a bad reaction while wearing this bra. Just to let you know, there is no Latex in the lace content. There is however spandex to which you may be also allergic. I would suggest you try style#8505 as there is no lace inserts; it is similar to style#8558 in that it is a cotton moulded bra without underwire. Linda from Florence, AZ, USA

I purchased this bra to wear around the house in comfy mode. I'm not sure what is meant by "molded soft cup", but the cup has no padding or lining. It is a completely cotton bra and is very comfortable for just hanging out, but I was mislead by the term molded and thought I was getting something that had some lining in it. Grenier was always my go-to bra company. They produced high quality, super comfortable cotton-rich, polyester-free bras. But the quality is not what it used to be. While this bra is pretty, the lace connecting the cups is is wider on one side than the other. The straps are elastic, not cotton as they used to be. And they are so short! At least they have corrected the problem with the padding behind the eyes. That is nice and soft. Ann from Washington, DC

It's 10% spandex, which means it contains latex. I ordered it because it was supposed to be latex-free. I"m allergic. So I'm not happy with it. They don't run true to size at all, either. Band much too small. LIly

I did like the bra, but it was oddly sized, as other have mentioned. It was made in Canada, perhaps that's why it fit like a 34A. I returned it for a 38B. It has not yet arrived so I can't comment. I liked the natural cotton and style. Mizzy from Middleton, WI, USA

The band on this was way, way too small. Absurdly small. I have a tiny ribcage and it felt like I'd be snapped in two. Otherwise I can't tell. I sent it back and requested a 38! We'll see how it goes. 6/6/11 TL 6/20/11 TL 06/30/11 TL Customer

Love this bra! I had a breast reduction five years ago and because of my higher ribcage and some lingering sensitivity, this bra's fabric feels great. It doesn't leave marks on me at the end of the day like other brands and even other Grenier wireless bras. My only complaint is the fact that there is some show through when worn under thinner shirts; a small price to pay for comfort though. Alice from USA

This order is being returned, the bra is incorrectly marked on size. However the Customer Service I have received so far from HR has been great regarding getting the exchange going on. I'm working with Derek and he has been wonderful helping me out. I have a latex allergy and I don't have much of a selection so he's helping me to ensure I find the correct replacement.

However the bra is pretty and I'm willing to try this bra again. Easy fix, just trying to find one that is not marked incorrectly. I have an order for 3 more once inventory comes in at the end of the month.

Grenier Response:Once we receive this bra back we will verify it’s measurements against our product specs. Kelly from Fiskdale MA

This is a really nice bra, good fit and attractive. I didn't end up keeping it because I found the lace itchy, but I'm extra sensitive about that kind of thing. Otherwise it's a great bra. Jean from Boston, MA

This bra is immensely comfortable with support - it is however skimpy. I just had a major breast reduction and am now a C but I bought a D and it does not cover. eileen from nyc

It is nice and soft but I not sure I like the support. I am wanting to try your less expensive bra, unfortunately when I was placing my order it was out of stock and that is why I purchase the more expensive one. I am very allergic to latex and need something fast. Anne from San Bruno

One can do much better with a less expensive cotton bra. For $40 I would expect a band that doesn't scratch - as this one does -- and it be comfortable - as this one is not. I feel that a wide soft band is best for these type of bras. The natural cotton is a nice touch and was a selling point for me.

Grenier Response: This no-wire bra is a very good seller in our range and the elastic band should not be scratchy. You may try washing it once or twice to soften it up. Mary from NC

Best fitting bra, and very comfortable. Most bra's I find to uncomfortable to wear and usually pulling them off before the end of the day. This one not only feels natural, looks good. My husband even commented on it without me saying anything. You won't be sorry, buy one and try Kathy from Ft. Pierce, FL USA

I would have really liked this bra but the band size was a full 2 inches shorter than the label size (it was a 32, not a 34). I had to return it.

HerRoom Response: You can not tell a band size by simply measuring your bra. Manufacturers take into consideration the stretchability of the fabric when determining the right length of a bra. Ann from Deep River, CT, USA

I ordered a 38B because many reviewers indicated that it ran small. I think the 36B cup would have fit better, but the band size probably would be too small. I found the trim scratchy, and the 38B just didn't provide sufficient support. Linda from Boston, MA
