Grenier Cotton Molded Sports Bra 8505 Reviews

Discovered this bra decades ago and so glad they still make it. It's the only reliably comfortable all-cotton bra that I've found. It also stands up well with time, usually it's about 2-3 years before it's started to be too stretched out to wear anymore. Lisa from MN

This bra is perfect as far as cup size, comfort, and style. My only complaint is that the band is a bit large. I have it in the last hook, and it is just right, but I am afraid that with wear it will stretch out and be too large. The 32 would have been much too small. Eszti from Amston, CT USA

I love this bra; it's so comfortable without the underwires. The straps are adjustable and stay put on the shoulders. My only complaint is that fabric does not hold up well. Ann from Milton, MA

The only complaint I have about this bra is that the back hook digs into my back. If the hook and eye feature was just a little longer I would have not complaints at all.

This is the best cotton bra that I have been able to find! It's comfortable with a great natural-looking molded fit and perfect to wear during the summer when it is hot. Only two things to consider when selecting this bra: It's not quite as supportive as the Grenier 8576 to me so use it for everyday wear or light exercise only. Also, it's so light weight that be care should be taken if there's a "show through" factor. Skip the white color when wearing a thin white shirt to eliminate that problem. Stephanie from Tulsa, OK

This bra runs extremely small for its size and has no support. It also has very cheap material. I am so disappointed after several hours of shopping.

I love this bra - it's great for work-outs and for everyday wear. I find the black more comfortable as it is less stretchy. I only wish they made a "non-compression" version that does a bit more for my figure, as opposed to the sports only. The non-stretch straps are a big plus for me and the fabric is wonderful. The strong point of this bra is its soft comfort, with light support for yoga, stretching, hiking or walking, sailing; NOT for jogging as I don't think there is enough support. The fabric is light and non-clingy and works well in the sweaty heat we can get in VA. I wear it as an everyday bra as I like to be comfortable. Anne from Virginia

Nice soft fabric. I love the cotton. But I find the straps and the back hook area stiff and a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps with several washings they will get softer. It provides a little bit less support than the brand of bra that I've been wearing for about 4 years. Those bras are not cotton, so I was excited when I found this bra. I have worn this bra (in different sizes) for over 20 years. It is soft, comfortable, easily adjusted for fit, looks smooth under clothes and lasts. This is the perfect bra for breast cancer patients too. I am always very pleased with Grenier bras for all the reasons just listed. They really are quality well priced bras. After reading the other reviews, I wonder if I received the wrong bra! I found this bra to be very thin material in the cups and not at all supportive for a sports bra. It was comfortable, for it was almost like wearing nothing, but this is not what I expected for support and strength in a sports bra. I sent it back and will be looking at other bras for a sports bra.

I bought two of these to wear following a lumpectomy (needed something soft and supportive to wear 24 hours a day). Very comfortable! I anticipate wearing this style as my regular bra from now on (no more underwire for me). For an active sport bra, I'd want something with more support, but this is great for everything else.
