This 100% cotton bra should be a winner because the cotton fabric causes no irritation. The wearer feels as if there is no bra, at all. It has a superb design, fit, feel, and wear! Submitted from TheUndies.com

Is very comfortable to wear as a 'regular' bra. Lasts well. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I like less constricting bras with support, and this bra was surprisingly comfortable. I think the lower band may roll over time as I've only washed it three times so far and have had to make sure the elastic lies flat. I usually wear an underwire, so after reading the reviews for this thought I'd give it a try. I don't think it will win any bra beauty awards for how it shapes, but I'm finding that I want to wear it as often as possible, and have ordered another in nude. It's SO good as a workout bra for me since the slip on squashers really hurt my neck where the T junction is, and this is a dream to wear with a lot of movement. It's very breatheable as it's cotton and it absorbs sweat well without showing onto my tshirt. I don't worry about "show through" and I absolutely hate padding or filler in cups. I like that it's a 2 hook closure, as the 3 hook bras are just too much for me. The straps don't slip off, though there is a very slight amount of slip on one side for me. This is amazing since unless I'm wearing some sort of T back, I always have slipping problems. I had to file with a nailfile around the back closure edge area to keep it from scratching, but that took about five minutes and I think the bra is well worth it. That and the potential rolling of the band are why I've given it 4 not 5 stars. It's quickly turning into my every day bra. It's not my preference shape wise, but it's not as bad as champion slip on sports bras. I can wear it for daily walks and I do forget I have it on at the end of the day and don't need to pull it off when I'm vegging out on the couch. Surprisingly comfortable and wearable bra. I don't usually buy at this regular price, but as noted, I've ordered another one! First no underwire bra I've worn in 20 years. Definite support, and I'm way picky. I do active martial arts and my day job is hard physical labor in my studio that requires a lot of leaning in to work. This bra fits both bills very nicely and I can wear it under regular clothes with a lower neck and it looks good enough. On me, it isn't a good enough shape for business meetings, but for every day it's just fine. I think it needs a bit more side support, and that would give a better shape for me. Also, I have a narrow ribcage, and I need to use the tightest set of hooks in the 36C once I washed it. I've ordered the next one in a 34C to see how that band size works. Cup size was true. The bra seems to be well fabricated. If something fails, I'll update this review. Deb from Providence, RI

I measured for the size according to your instructions, which indicated a 34 DD or 34 E. I wasn't at all confident that a 34 would fit around my chest - it's been a long time since I've worn a 34 bra and I've gained 30-40 lbs since then. Also, I don't have very large breasts (which a DD or E indicates to me). So, I ordered a 38C, which is rather tight around the band (at the max extension possible) also it's snug in the cup. I'm guessing that a 40D would have fit better! So, the measuring guide isn't very helpful at all!! Other than that, I like the softness of the cotton.

We are pleased to hear that you utilized our fit features we offer. However, we suggest when altering your size in a bra that you only do one of two things. You are saying the bra in a 34 band was too tight. In this case you would want to go up in the band size which would take you to a 36 band. Then you would need to go down in the cup. Since you were measured at a DD or E you would need to go down to a D cup. That would allow the 36 D to fit like the 34DD/E. This is what we call the sister size to your actual measurement. Only it will give more room in the band to tailor to your comfort preference. The cup then will still provide the support and coverage you originally had in the DD/E. I hope this helps when using the Universal Cup Size feature in the future! Anne from California

I have been wearing these bras for the last 10 years, which says in itself how pleased I am with the product. It gives me exactly the right support without leaving me feeling constricted in the ways that under wire bras do, which I wear for more formal outings. Very comfortable, versatile and when properly care for, last a very long time. sylvia from florence, ma usa

Love the cotton, which is difficult to find nowadays. Great support for me. The only downside is that the support is provided by extra material on the outer edge of the cup, which makes the central area rather thin. Some of this can be seen thru a more delicate top. It's rarely a problem, however. Etta from Arlington/WA/USA

This is the second time I've ordered this bra. Very comfortable and adapts well to my situation (breasts of different cup sizes). I ordered one white and one black this time, and once before a few years ago. Both times, the white bra is a bit more snug with less "give"--the knit seems to be a little heavier. Ultra Comfortable. Feels great. The only thing I question is the classification as a sports bra. It is very light and feels almost like wearing nothing. Most sports bras are quite sturdy. Laurie from Mesa, AZ

I liked this bra and ordered two more. The only reason that I gave it only four stars was that the cup fabric is a bit on the thin side. I would have appreciated cup fabric about double the thickness. That said, I haven't been able to find ANYTHING that fits as well or is as comfortable and reasonably supportive. This Grenier fits perfectly and works beautifully as an everyday and light sport bra. Only complaint: something slightly scratchy in the back strap closure area, a small irritation that I can manage. Stanifer from Topanga, CA, USA

I think I am going to send them back. I wanted to know if they changed the fabric. I have been wearing the same bra in a 36B for years. Loved and ordered a 36 C. It fits the same as the 36 B without the support. so I was disappointed in the fit and the support. Jeanne from Longwood, Florida

I've been wearing this Grenier bra for years because of its high cotton content. (I dislike synthetic fabrics next to my skin) This bra is comfortable, well fitting, and I use it as a daily wear bra. It is also good for light exercise workouts too, if that's our primary purpose for buying it. Durability is good as well. I just bought one for my teen daughter and it's now one of her favorites, along with the Grenier tee shirt bra. Michele from Cambridge, MA, USA

I purchased this as a sleep bra. I'm not sure why it's even listed as a sports bra, it has no support whatsoever, but works for my purpose. My main complaint, the reason for only two stars, is the scratchy seams at the top and bottom of the straps. I couldn't wear it until I sewed some little patches of soft fabric inside to cover up the rough patches that were so unbearable I had to get out of bed to take it off. It looked to me like the ends of the straps were burned to keep them from fraying and that resulted in hard ends and red skin have wearing for minutes. I'll use this after my adjustments, but would not purchase again. Venesa from TN
