We are pleased to hear that you utilized our fit features we offer. However, we suggest when altering your size in a bra that you only do one of two things. You are saying the bra in a 34 band was too tight. In this case you would want to go up in the band size which would take you to a 36 band. Then you would need to go down in the cup. Since you were measured at a DD or E you would need to go down to a D cup. That would allow the 36 D to fit like the 34DD/E. This is what we call the sister size to your actual measurement. Only it will give more room in the band to tailor to your comfort preference. The cup then will still provide the support and coverage you originally had in the DD/E. I hope this helps when using the Universal Cup Size feature in the future! Anne from California Height: Petite (5'3" and under) Age: 70's Posted: January, 2013
