Finally I have found a "racer back" bra that fits. Its comfy and has a nice shape, the hook at the back is a little hard to work unless you have help, but once in place its a great fit. Thank you. jane from california

My first purchase of this bra was in July 2011. I absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to order more. I placed another order for 2 of the same model. They were on backorder and finally arrived about 3 weeks later. I was solely disappointed. They ran small around the band. I kept one hoping overtime it will feel a bit more comfortable. I returned the 2nd one. The original bra ordered in early July continues to be a wonderful fit. I will take all the care I can to keep it from wearing out! However, I won't order another. I purchased this bra about 6 weeks ago in white and just loved it. I had never worn a bra so comfortable that I just had to order more. I ordered 2 more in natural. The bras were on backorder and finally arrived last week. I was very disappointed. Not near as comfortable as the first one. The band was way too snug. I adjusted and readjusted the straps but never could find that same comfortable fit as the first one I purchased 6 weeks ago. I went ahead and kept one of the two ordered. The other has been returned for refund. I am very disappointed and have no idea of why it would fit differently than the very first one I purchased only recently. I guess I will just have to take very good care of the first one so that it doesn't wear out soon! I am not leaving a star rating because this review deals with 2 same model bras each having a different fit. The original purchase of the white 44C model 8467 would get a 5 star rating. The second purchase of the 2 natural 44C model 8467 bras would get a 3 star rating.

Grenier Response: We are sorry to hear the our product did not work for you, and that you could not find the same comfort in the natural bra. The patterns are the same, no matter what color the garment is. It is highly unusual that this could have happened. Stephanie from California

My doctor recommended a racerback bra, as women who are in their 40's/50's should wear one. I researched many and found this bra. I love it!!!! Comfortable, supportive, and I love the racerback style. I highly recommend this bra. I wear a DD and it is awesome! Colleen from Hampstead

When I first purchased this bra I was thrilled. The fabric was soft and very comfortable. After wearing the bra, however, it provided little support. It stretched and sagged and the wires created a "tray" through my shirt, which was very unsightly. I had high hopes that I had finally found a great cotton bra, only to be extremely disappointed. Ladies - avoid this bra! Barbara from NewYork

I had all but given up on finding a full figure cotton bra. Happily, I ordered this bra and it is amazing!!! It is supportive and so comfortable its almost like not wearing a bra. I also love that the cotton is undied (the natural color). I am ordering more. Thank you Grenier and HerRoom. Barbara from Wantagh, NY

I have a very full and heavy bust and I have a difficult time finding a bra that not only fits well, but is comfortable enough to wear all day, everyday. This is it! It doesn't pull, poke, tug or pinch anywhere. It's a great everyday bra that gives you a nice lift and shape also. Alessandra from Brooklyn, NY

I've had neck and back pain for a while due to bra straps. This is the most comfortable bra I've worn in a long time! I have only worn it in the racerback configuration. It really works quite easily as a convertible! My only issue is that the fabric on the cups is very t-shirt stretchy. So I have more bounce going on than I'm used to. Other than that this bra is a winner! Debbie from CA

I didn't care for this bra. I wore it for 10 hours and by the end of the day I couldn't wait to get it off. It irritated me on the back strap where the hooks are. Also it irritated me along the underwire. I do like the wide straps though. G.B. from Ridgecrest

Straps and material were exceptional as was the fit and comfort however it was much too thin (literally sheer) not padded at all and offered little support. It almost seemed like the wrong product and had to be returned. Pam from NH

These bras are the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that the smallest size in a DD is 38. I could have used a 36. Other than that - they're very comfortable, straps don't dig in, and they stay in place nicely - no riding up. Plus - the cotton makes them extremely comfortable. Jan from Bothell, WA, USA

Size seems to run true. Like the ability to make this bra into a racerback. Comfortable but supportive for a more casual bra. JudyB from Mayville, WI, US

Very comfortable. Breaths well, moves nicely and stays put. It is cotton so as you wear it more you will need to tighten the straps so do not buy a size that requires you to wear it on the tightest settings from the start. Gina from Warsaw/IN/USA

Fits wonderfully! Most comfortable, light weight bra I have owned. Feels really good on dented shoulders when keyholed in back. Hope it holds up well. Marcie from TN

This bra is great. I had bought quite a few bras from a plus size store. They were a big disappointment. All the issue I had with those bras were gone the minute I put this one on. It feels great and the straps don't fall off my shoulders. My only complaint is that maybe I just have small shoulders because the straps are still too big for me. Great bra, would buy again. This is the only bra I will wear. It has all that anyone could want in one style. If it came in other colors I would buy them all. JC

It's very difficult to find bras made from natural fibers, and particularly difficult if you wear larger than a 38c. i was very thankful to find this bra, which is comfortable, mostly cotton, provided support, wasn't ugly, and easily adjusted itself to my idiosyncratic contours. i am just so glad this bra exists --- i had despaired of find anything to replace a similar style i had worn for 20 years --- which of course had been discontinued... justine from san francisco ca usa

This is the only bra I will wear, they looked good but they were not true to size. The Grenier has the criss-cross in the back straps, why is it that bra makers assume that anyone with a large bra size has wide shoulders, all other bra straps slip off and I hate having to pull up straps all the time. One drawback to this bra is that they don't make a DDD, the DD is fine but the DDD would be much better. sandy from San Francisco, Ca. USA

Love the bra but it's too big and you don't sell it in 36DD. Not sure why but that would be perfect. Went to order one in that size and it wasn't an option. I was very disappointed.

HerRoom Response: We offer the entire size range of this bra. Unfortunately, it begins at a 38 band size. Jan from Bothell, WA, USA

One of the few non-pointy, seamless cotton bras on the market for plus size . If you are a runner, exercise a lot, or play tennis, you can't beat it for comfort and style (especially the padded comfort straps). Maisie

This bra is very comfortable, love the wide shoulder straps(no slipping). The only thing I have noticed to the negative, during hot days the bra becomes wet with perspiration, and stays damp. Amy from NY, USA

I love this bra, however, the underwire comes out of the channel after a few wearings (10). I have tried to repair this, but to no avail.

HerRoom Response: This symptom is usually a sign that your band size is too large. Karen from Enterprise, Oregon USA

I love this bra! I took off one star because sometimes the underwire shifts out of place and pokes me in the arm. But it is minimally troublesome. The bra is comfortable and makes me look terrific. Adrienne from Hauppauge, NY
