I ordered two bras. One bra was very tight and the other one was perfect even though they were the same size. Great Bra though, super comfy. JT from Brookline, MA USA

I ordered this bra because one of the reviewers said that she was concerned that the straps would be too long because of the hook that pulls them together in the back. They were not too long for me. In fact, I had to unstitch the straps in the back where they were attached to the bottom of the band, which caused the bra to pull up in the back every time I moved and reattach it to the top of the band, giving me a whole precious inch of strap. It seems that bra manufacturers could provide longer straps. Karen from Fredericksburg, Texas USA

I have about four of these, but they were wearing out, so I recently bought two new ones. At the end of the second day of wearing one of the new ones, I put my thumb through the fabric while trying to unhook it. The fabric just seems to be brittle and fragile. Not sure what I'm going to do if the quality of these can't be trusted -- there aren't that many cotton under-wires available, and even fewer in black. For $40 these really ought to be significantly better quality. Dinah from Boston

The material is soft and comfortable but the band part around the chest is kind of thin and stretchy so I don't know how long it will last. The cup size seems a little small plus it is mostly cotton so I'm thinking if you wash it in warm waterit will probably shrink some. The chest band in the back where the hooks are is only 2 across and narrow as well so I'm not sure how that will work. It would probably be a good idae to get a size bigger to allow for shrinkage. Love it, but a little thin to wear in cool conditions under a t-shirt. Becky

Fit was quite large for a B cup so I had to exchange it for a smaller size. Fabric is comfortable. Jessica from Columbia, SC

Have worn it once -- fit well; a bit concerned that the ability to tighten straps seems limited; like the clip that turns it into a racer/t-back bra Joyce from Michigan

This bra was too big in the cup and band. I have bras from Olga, Wacoal, and Bali. 34DD fits in all of them on the outside hooks. However, this one was too big on the inside hooks. I was really surprised that this one was so much bigger. I bought all the others online no problem so I was sure this would be the same. Not so. Very disappointing. I sent it back. This is a really great bra, especially if you have sensitive skin or allergies to synthetic fabric. I had been searching the Boutiques for years looking for an all cotton bra - I decided to take my search to the web and found HerRoom. I've place two more orders since my initial order and I will definitely shop this site for all of my bra needs. I highly recommend this bra as well as this online store, they are FANTASTIC! My normal cup size was a little too large in this style, so it was returned. Also, I have a different size of this bra from several years ago, and the elastic doesn't seem to have held up very well over time. 8/16/12 Cheryl (pend) from Kansas City, MO

A great all-cotton bra that provides comfort and support. The little hook that allows it to be worn as an X-back is a nice extra. Plus, they're made in Canada! Dinah from Boston, MA

Unfortunately, I have a terrible allergy to any synthetic fabrics and have to really look for cotton bras to avoid getting rashes. As for these bras, they have too much synthetic (on the back strap and front panel) and have given me rashes. Any more that are 100% cotton? kathleen from hamden, ct, us

Bra was very comfortable since it's cotton. The polyester blends tend to stick to you in hot weather. The cup size was perfect but since I am 5 ft the 34 band was too big. Can't seem to find bras in 32DD. really would have like to keep the bra. lee from miami

comfortable but straps are too long--I adjusted them all the way and still they are too long. This is a typical cotton underwire--nothing special. ceilly from NYC

Simply the best cotton bra I have ever had. Fits really well and is sturdy. I ware a size 34C which is not always easy to find. Grenier has done a great job at making a hard to find a hard to fit item. Thank you. M. Marino from Los Angeles, CA

I love this bra. So comfy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't come in a bigger cup for the 34. Even though it isn't a perfect fit I kept it. I'm nursing so I know my cup size will go down at some point.... in the meantime, I'm wearing it and loving it! Also, I always wear an undershirt, so I don't have any issues with the thinness of the cotton. courtney from Kentucky

Nice feel, very soft cotton, but not enough side and back support. I have to return it.

Grenier Response:A size 40C will provide more side and back support while maintaining the same volume in the breast as the size 38D. Suzanne from Philadelphia, PA USA

After ordering, trying on, and returning four other bras, I went back to my tried-and-true Grenier. It is super comfortable, although is made slightly differently than my old one. Nevertheless, it does all I want it to do. Just enough support, and very cool for South Texas weather... If you want a no-nipple-showing bra, reconsider this one b/c that is a problem on some occasions. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I had to buy a size that really no longer fits me as Grenier doesn't offer 40C. I just have to use the loosest clasp. Further encouragement to diet.... Judy from San Antonio, Texas

Wonderful comfort, terrific cotton. Perfect design. The threads on the area of the hooks frayed with the first washing, and I will probably re-sew that whole area to make sure they don't come apart. This is such a quality garment, the fraying threads in that area seems like a disconnect.

Grenier Response:Grenier guarantees their products. We would recommend you return this bra so we may ascertain the problem. Chris from Florida

Pretty comfortable cotton material and design, adequate support for a small breast. Very thin material, no padding, so anyone with fear of nipple-show should look elsewhere. The fit in the band seems a little loose; I have to use the very last hook. Tania from Somerville, MA

This is a very comfortable bra. I can wear it all day. I have slight slippage in the straps, not much, hardly at all, but enough to annoy me while I'm working. Looks good on, feels great otherwise and it's nice to have a nice cotton bra. Deborah from Providence, RI, USA

I was led to believe from the descrlption that this would be a 100% cotton bra, it is not, but the padded straps make it very comfortable. It runs a little small. Amy from La Mesa, CA
