It is light control. Lace cups are small for cup size and not very supportive. I had high hopes for this model. Pretty style but not right for my body shape - 5'2"and could stand to lose 10-15 lbs. :-)

Grenier Response: Another alternative to a bodysuit, which might be more difficult to fit all body types, would be wearing a combination of a supportive bra with a high waist panty that goes up to the bra line like our Grenier High Waist Control Brief Panty 464 made of a silky yet controlling fabric. Style #464 has detachable shoulder straps to prevent “rolling down” and the leg opening is smooth without an elastic band so that it does not cut into the thigh. S from WA

I have been wearing this bodysuit for years. Finally, I had to accept that it was time to replace it. I looked everywhere trying to find it again with no luck. Very pretty undergarment and extremely comfortable and breathable which means it works great even in summer. Gives moderate control just as the site says, so if you are wanting "firm" control this is not the garment for you. The only drawback is it is a bit too long - minor alteration in the crotch area was all that was needed, however. The price made me hesitant; but I am glad I spent the extra money for something both functional and pretty - it makes me feel pretty when I wear it. Nona from Colorado Springs/CO

I have been searching for a GREAT bodysuit like this one. It is very pretty & feminine looking & it doesn't look like a scuba suit. It is pretty comfortable. My only constructive criticism is that I believe the straps need to be wider for those of us, like me, who have larger breasts...I'd definitely buy it again! Judy T from Jersey City, NJ

When this arrived I thought there was no way a shape-wear garment could fit in this package and something was wrong. Well I was wrong! I have only had one other shape-wear garment which wore out and have shopped the department stores for a couple weeks trying on garments. It was not a happy thing! Then I found this on-line and took a shot and ordered. I will agree with a couple other reviewers that the body (Butt) is a bit long on me (Not wide) , but I am petite and this always happens to me. However I also sew, and altered it to fit already and am so happy with this! The bra cups fit perfectly which is always to big of an area for me. (one size on top another on bottom, you girls know what I am talking about) The body of the garment has nice structure and really accomplished what I was looking for. It is very light weight material, yet very substantial at the same time. It is not a firm shape-wear, but it is listed as moderate which it is. Iit certainly got me in the dress I am wanting to wear without loosing 5 pounds. LOL I am also going to try to convert this to a convertible strap also, and if I can do that then I will definitely order at least on more before they discontinue them. I am very happy with this. I don't think it would be to hot in the summer to wear as the fabric is very light as I said. Don't take the light fabric lightly though!
