I thought I was never going to be able to wear any sexy tops this spring due to my large breasts, but I'm very happy to say I can!!! I don't have perky breasts and this bra lifts them like I was wearing a bra with the straps. I'm a 38DDD but I ordered a 40DD and it fits great. Thanks for making a strapless SUPPORTIVE bra for the rest of us!!! Sally C. from high point NC

This is a very fun piece of lingerie for women who are looking for more of a vintage flair. Don't buy it if you enjoy a more rounded breast shape, but it's fabulous for the '40s glamour feel!

As far as fitting goes, the coverage seems to be perfect for short women who are looking for the support to continue all the way through the waist and upper hip. I'm 6'1", so I'm only covered to 5" above my navel.

All in all? Very sexy, very glamorous, and the best strapless bra I've worn. (And definitely follow everyone else's advice about ordering up a band size or two; I did, and mine is perfect!) Ameloria from East Tennessee

OMG! I can wear a halter or strapless top or dress! Where was this bra all my life as I hid beneath huge t-shirts! I LOVE IT!! I did just as recommended I normally wear a 40G bra and went up a band size to a 42 (nervously) and down to an FF cup and it was PERFECT! I swore I would need to return it but it fit PERFECTLY! Being big chested (breastfed as well) my girls only hope was surgery, I couldn't afford that but this longline bra did miracles! I only bought it because of the reviews with a tad of hope here lol and I'm SO GLAD I DID! I live for reading reviews from others that help me make purchases I wont regret, this longline bra is worth the purchase its amazing! Thank you HerRoom! KimR from Blythewood SC USA

Beautiful bra. Not very happy with it overall. If choosing this bra, make sure you don't use just your bra size. Using bra size alone will not guarantee a fit.

Goddess Response: In order for this bustier to fit properly we recommend going up two band sizes, and down two cup sizes. For example: If you ordinarily wear a 42FF, she would wear a 46DD in God-689. BridalLady from Oklahoma

I ordered 4 different Bras from HerRoom and this is the one I decided to keep. Those I have returned were accepted no issue and a refund was issued in a timely fashion. (thanks) I normally buy a 38F and let the straps compensate for a lot, but with this bra there is no need to give a little to get a little. It gives comfortable support not only through the waist and back but, thanks to a little soft boning in the cup, there is perfect bust support as well. And most amazing the bust support doesn't add a quarter inch in padding or leave me with the dreaded torpedo boobs. The bottom sits comfortably between the naval and the base of the ribcage which (without an additional cincher) does create a bulge that would discourage tight fitting outer-garments. But all in all it is a GREAT Bra. I highly recommend at least ordering one to try, and if you don't like it taking advantage of HerRoom's excellent returns policies. Praise from Pittsburgh PA USA

It is a little too high on the top to wear with a low cut formal. I kept it to wear with other outfits instead of the formal. I went down a cup size and it fit perfectly by down sizing one cup size. Patsy from Spring

Great support--I was surprised to find a strapless in my size that worked so well. Downside: cups are a little pointy and the texture of the whole garment is not very smooth, so don't try to wear it under anything that's fairly sheer. Also I would recommend ordering a cup size down as I felt it was a little roomy there (I did and the size was right). Definitely recommend this if you're wearing it under thick fabric! Mary

Out of the three long line bra's I tried on this was the least attractive yet the lowest price. The one I tried on had one cup that was larger then the other... So I had some extra fabric on my left breast but my right fit perfectly. Beside the defect of the cups the bra fit fine.... I how ever wanted something a bit more beautiful under my wedding dress.

HerRoom Response: Thank you for this feedback. However, most women have one breast larger than the other. We don't think there was a defect with this bra. camilla from seattle wa usa

This longline is AMAZING. I ordered my size and it fit perfectly! I thought that I had to go up a band size but DON'T DO IT if you don't really have a tummy! It looks really vintage and gives me a slight bullet shape, which is exactly what I was looking for! It's not poke-your-eyes-out pointy, but gives your breasts a natural (yet lifted!) shape, not a squished down melon shape. Which I hate! I NEVER review anything online but I just had to share! This bra gives me amazing support and nips my waist in. I feel soooo confident! I'm ordering another in black!! Definitely an amazing investment. Wondering if I can dye my ivory longline so it's more nude... Kit from Los Angeles, CA

I really wanted this bra to work. I am 5'1'' and wear 36DD. I followed the advise of ordering a band size larger and a cup size smaller. The 38D's underwire stuck out about an inch away from my body. I ordered a 38C and still had the same problem. I'm sure this bra is terrific for some body types. I don't know if it is my height or what, but this bra did not work for me.

Goddess Response: Sometimes the relationship between a certain bra and a certain person is just not meant to be, no matter how much we might want it! I apologize that this style did not work for you. Julie from Northbrook, IL USA

This piece is great if you plan on wearing it under thicker clothing, because the lace can be seen through the thinner materials. The bra has great lift and wonderful coverage, but unfortunately that was an issue for me, because the top of the cups were visible above the neck line of my wedding dress. So if you plan to wear it with low cut clothing-you will want to go a different route. Kendra from Wellington, CO

Pretty, but runs VERY small in the band.

Goddess Response: It’s true, this style does run small in the band. We recommend going up in the band and down in the cup in this style. Lindsay

I love it! I need this bra for my wedding, so I ordered it based on the reviews. This is the best money I have spent in the last 10 years. I bought it in ivory and black. I feel so confident in it and I can wear strapless dresses and blouses without looking like a HAM! Stephanie from Covington, GA

I bought this bra to wear with a special evening gown. The first one was too big and I returned it and then started to worry that the replacement wouldn't get here in time. I called HerRoom customer service and they sent me out another one in a smaller size and I've received it. And it is perfect. It's difficult to find a supportive, pretty and comfortable long line strapless with the bust size I have. And having CS to call took the worry out. Thanks. Linda from St. Louis, MO

This bra provides incredible support and lift. As a 38F, I've never found a strapless bra that fits as well as this one does. It smooths out your back as well, and the seams didn't show at all through the bridesmaid dress I wore this under. Jenna from Columbus, OH

This is the first strapless bra I have found that actually holds 'em up, and I have tried many. I wear 38ddd in regular bras and was concerned with using the specific sizing guide which told me to order 40dd - but it fit perfect. Only reason not 5 stars is that the fabric was a bit itchy, but not enough to stop me from wearing it. Great bra for us curvy girls. rana from portland, oregon

This longline bra is perfect, especially if you are plus-sized. It is very challenging to find a longline that will work for me. I am short-waisted and VERY curvy (5'0" and 199lbs). I am normally a 40DDD. I ordered a 40DDD and a 42DD, to experiment with the fit. I recommend following the fitter's tip; go up in your band size and down in your cup size. This bra does not constrict my hips (it sits just above my hips) and is really supportive. I also think it's pretty. I'll be wearing this under my wedding dress. As I lose weight, I would definitely buy this bra again in another size. Also, it does make your breasts a little dart-like, but it isn't noticeable under clothing. I sat down while wearing this and it didn't poke my stomach out (as other reviewers mentioned); it controlled my stomach more than anything. So run, do not walk, to purchase this bra! I originally ordered 1 size up on the band and 1 size down on the cup as recommended (38dd). Only to discover that this tip is only necessary for women with a larger waistline... so that was a learning experience. I sent it in for an exchange of my real size 36F and I am very pleased with this bra. Very supportive and fits like a glove! Tereza from Aurora, Co

Love this bra! I recently bought this style and one from elomi. They are the same size, 40FF, but this fit snugger. The boning does wonders for supporting my very heavy breasts, and also smooths out my not-so-smooth belly, sides, and back. This bra gives me back my hourglass shape-- I feel sexier than I have in years! I also don't have the shoulder pain and bad posture I normally have in regular bras since this style does not rely on the straps for support. It makes me walk taller and have more confident in clothing. The only bad things I can say are the boning bowed from sitting and the back hurt at the top a bit. This is true for both styles I ordered. Even given the two negatives, I would recommend this bra to everyone.

HerRoom Response: You mention that you are petite in stature. A longline bra is always going to have a fit issue since they standardize of 5'4" to 5'8"./

Goddess Response: We love this bustier too! Yes, 689 does run a bit snugger than the Elomi 8201, and she can always go up a band size and down a cup size in this one to make it more comfy the next time. Audrey from Pittsburgh

I purchased this bra for my New Year's Eve Wedding because it came so highly rated and customer service was so eager to assist me to purchasing the correct size. I usually wear a 36DDD so I purchased a 36F. The bra is beautiful and it fit very well through the bodice, although the lace is a little itchy for me. The cups were a little large and because of that didn't work well with the gown I'm going to wear. My finance loved it so I decided to keep it for the honeymoon. Anna Marie from Columbia, MD. USA

I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and needed a strapless bra. As a "G" cup it is very difficult to find comfortable bras, much less a strapless bra. I was in this bra for over 10 hours and it was very very comfortable. The fit was fabulous and it did not slip/slide down. Love it. Lo from Navarre, FL
