cup not fit and band too tight. don't know why the band on strapless always tighter than the regular bra.

Goddess Response: Generally speaking manufacturers often tighten up the band in a strapless bra to help with lift and support. Remember, you can’t rely on the straps, simply because there aren’t any. All of the support must come from the body of the bra. 6120 goes to a 46-band, so you can adjust the cup and band size for that perfect fit. Vivianne from Houston

I love this bra! After mail ordering (& returning) several from other sites, I found this one to be the best fitting with its well-built cups! Support is great for me, as I am a full-figured gal. I have no worries about it slipping or falling - and I love the wrapping I received it in - this bra makes me feel sexy and confident in my body! Denise from Auburn, CA

It just doesn't fit. I'm sure it's a great bra but not for me, I need more support, even if I did get the proper size. I am returning it for a different type of strapless bra. Cheryl from Wichita, KS, USA

I bought this bra so there would be a smooth look under thin tops. It does that fine. My only problem is that the part of the band that goes under my arms is so high that it pinches me. Maybe it's because I'm petite and have a smaller-than-average torso. Whatever the case, I find myself adjusting it and pulling it down repeatedly during the day. Wanda from Trenton, NJ

The bra straps broke. Not very supportive either. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Goddess Response: It might be that you need to go down a band size and up in the cup to anchor the bra more securely. Alternatively you could “cross-over” to our Elomi brand and try our Elomi strapless 1230. This style features foam molded cups for super support, and offers two more cup sizes than GD6120. Sometimes it’s necessary to go up in the cup in order for the center gore to “tack” against the breast-bone, and for the under-wire to surround all of the breast tissue. It’s important for every bra, but it’s absolutely essential for a strapless bra! Candyce from Champaign, IL

Can hardly get it on and will return it

Goddess Response: It’s difficult to know for sure without seeing the bra on you, but judging by your description the size is completely wrong for you. Happily this bra is offered in oodles of sizes (up to an H cup)! With a bit of trial and error and a little patience, you can find your perfect size and that will make all the difference. I'm 5'6" and currently wear a 38H. At the time I wore a 40G but upon arrival, I realized the bra was too small in the cup and I could stand to wear a band size larger to get a larger cup (since it was the only way I could get a larger size based on what was available). I sent it in for an exchange and when I got the new one in 42H, the cups fit amazingly well, but the underwire digs so deeply into my armpit that I can't wear it. I have never worn it more than the 5 mins trying it on. It currently hangs in my closet just waiting to be re-sold.

The color is amazing. Nude doesn't do it justice. It's more like a subdued gold satin. VERY Marilyn and VERY 50's, which are both reasons I was initially attracted to this bra. 50's without the pointy boobs = awesome. There are boning-type stays in the cup which are super supportive and help with shaping a lot. More bras should have this! There are detachable/adjustable straps as well so you can wear it criss-cross, halter or standard in addition to strapless. The straps it comes with are not thick or bulky like most bras in larger sizes which is another reason I was tempted to buy this bra.

All in all, I'd say this bra is NEAR great, but if underwire pokes you in the 'pits, how can you wear it? You can't. That "feature" is so ridiculous that it causes the bra to show in the underarm area, peaking out of my shirt about 1" which can't happen! I'd love for Goddess to remedy this issue because it's really hard to find a great strapless in my size (currently 38H). Until then... this one's going up for sale.

Goddess Response: Valerie, thank you so much for your insights, we’ll be sure to pass your observations on to our Goddess designers! Judging by your comments about the under-wire digging into your armpit and about the bra ‘peaking out’ of your shirt, you might actually need a smaller cup: You could accomplish this by ordering a 42G or a 40H (the band is generous so perhaps the 40H would be better). The Goddess bra was comfortable. I love the look of it under my clothes. The only complaint is that it took almost 2 months for me to receive the bra. I was informed once the bra was on backorder. Michelle from Lake Charles, La USA

I was surprised how much I loved this bra. Even though I am a big girl and busty, it secures everything nicely. I am wearing this with a strapless bridesmaid dress for wedding. So glad to find a strapless bra the doesn't have the uncomfortable stomach part. You got to try it! Lori from Boerne, Texas

Three stars based on the fact that this bra doesn't fit. I am sending it back today to exchange it for a larger size. I'm 5'6" and while I have lost weight, I have found that my chest keeps getting bigger. Regardless of size, I love the boning and support of this bra. When I tried it on, although it is two sizes too small, it still managed to hold me up. I love the fact that this bra is a smooth satiny material because it will not catch on my shirt and drag the bra down. The fact that optional straps are included means I will incorporate this bra into my daily wardrobe. It is VERY difficult to find bras above a D cup with a normal, thin bra strap. I don't care for padded straps. I wear a lot of tank tops and I don't like having to deal with my straps showing. I can't wait for my larger size to get here and I will re-review when I get it! I like it but.....even though the fit is right the boning in the cup still pokes out because it stops at the top of the cup and with a larger cup size it is visible through the thin fabric of any shirt but maybe not a sweater...maybe over time with MANY washings it will get better but right now not so much. The bra was made well, of good quality, but the size of the cups runs small. I have a long line bra by Goddess and wear an FF. I would still like this bra, but I think that is the largest size they have. Mrs.Williams from Pittsburgh

I think this bra is very strangely proportioned. If you have breasts that are far apart and shaped like cones projecting straight out from your chest, maybe this bra would fit, but my this size (36DD), I found it not wide enough in most of the cup but sticking out too far. Returned it without any problems.

HerRoom Response: With a strapless bra, it's important to make sure your breasts are in the cups correctly. Leaning forward and then scooping your breasts into the cups should put everything in the right place. We agree that this bra is not a minimizer. SouthernCathy from Sunny Florida

Finally, a strapless bra with no foam, great shaping, and no digging under the arm. I thought the boning in the cups were going to make the girls torpedo like; wow, really natural. An the bonus, it actually allows me to wear lower necklines. Girls, if you are larger than a DD, don't like foam, and want great comfortable shaping, try this bra. Lori from Los Angeles

Read reviews about this bra and thought I would try it. I have a few tops that needed a strapless bra. I love it! It fits perfect and feels wonderful. I would say if you are looking for a strapless bra, look no more! This is it. Teresa

This is wonderful! I like to call this Boob-Job in a Box. It's so comfy. It stays in place and makes you very shapely. There is no padding but it sure makes it look like there is. It's my favorite bra ever. I have always had problems with a bra really fitting me and this is like not even having a bra on with all the shape of a great push up. McKenna from Dalton, Ga.
