Goddess Response: Betty, I know how frustrating it can be when you’re accustomed to a certain style and how it fits, and then the manufacturer changes things! We’ve updated our styles to make them a bit more modern, and we’re using a silkier, comfier fabrication as well as adding more cup sizes. We find that it helps to go down in the band and up in the cup in this style for more support. Perhaps try a 42D3. Betty from Bronx NY
Goddess Response: Jackie, all brands fit differently depending on style and fabrication, so it’s important to be flexible about your size! Also many brands use a stretchy fabrication in their cups and bands which makes it much easier to “fudge” the fit… –but you’ll never get the same degree of support that non-stretch cups provide. Goddess is designed to provide a ‘custom’ fit so we use a more rigid fabrication for the ultimate in lift, shaping and support. Goddess offers lots of cup and band sizes, so just go up in the band or cup as much as you need for your perfect fit. Jackie H from Kansas City, MO
Goddess Response: The 44 band could have been too large. Maybe the 42DDD or a 40g would have fit more snug to give you the streamline appearance you are looking for. The longline bras always fit differently than the regular bras. DeBora from Cleveland,OH
Goddess Response: This style is running generously in the band, so you’d probably find you get the firmer support you’re looking for if you go down in the band and up in the cup (36D). sherry from cincinnati ohio
Goddess Response: It’s difficult to comment as I don’t know what brand or style you’re accustomed to wearing. As you know every brand fits differently, and even within a brand the fit will vary depending on frame, and fabrication used. It’s a good idea to be flexible about how we think about our size. It’s not about the number or the letter, it’s always about the fit. The Goddess brand is a very fit-specific brand to provide the ultimate in shaping and support. Unlike some other brands we do not use a stretchy fabrication in our cups: It’s easy to force more breast tissue into a stretchy cup, as it’s much more forgiving, but the lift, shape and most of all the support will be compromised. The Alice Soft Cup 6040 goes up to a G-cup, so it’s very easy to go up a cup size or even two if you need to. Goddess Response: You’re correct, this style runs full in the band which is why you’re not feeling fully supported. I would recommend going down in the band. The body of the bra should feel like a snug hug. Thanks for your suggestion, we’ll be sure to pass it along to our design team. We learn from our customers every day! rita from katy, texas
