I had to return this for bigger cup. When it arrived I was very pleasantly surprised! It's very comfortable for an underwire (and I've avoided underwires for many years.) The straps do NOT leave craters on my shoulders, which was my main concern. Very surprised with the comfort of this bra. I've ordered a softcup now, I may have a new favorite! Diane from Topeka, KS

I own three of these bras. They are comfortable, supportive, and well-constructed--after two years, my first Keira still fits wonderfully and holds up beautifully after washing. I have a short torso, but need a higher center panel, and this is one of the few bras that doesn't feel like it's hitting my chin! Bras in my size tend to be expensive, and I appreciate that Goddess bras are high quality and also affordable. I'll keep buying these as long as they keep making them! Jess from TX, USA

I feel like I must have a hard-to-fit shape, because a good half of bras that I try on look totally wrong on me. But this bra is a great fit. The straps are wide and spread the weight evenly. The seams show as an awkward horizontal line through thin shirts, but the tradeoff is that they are super supportive and not too conical. I'm not getting any back line, either. For my current size, I'm just delighted. Bess from Ohio, USA

This bra is amazing. It was exactly as described, and I am very pleased with it. The only downside is that the cup is slightly small. The craftsman ship and materials are very good. Underwires are sturdy, which means a lot with such a large cup size, and the band is well constructed. The straps have plenty of adjusting room, but they are not wide. I bought this bra in 4 different colors and the quality and fit are uniform throughout. I've had them just a little time, though. If I run into any problems, I will come back and post another review. Very satisfied! Barbara from Seymour, Tx, USA

This is the first time since I was a young woman that a bra has fit me well. I had started wearing soft cup bras for comfort, but this underwire bra is equally as comfortable and provides great support. I have ordered 2 more. Patti from Mabelvale, AR

I absolutely love this bra. I've had large breasts my whole life and this is the only bra I can rely on for support, comfort, and shape. I've tried lots of different bras over the years but this is the only one that I consistently buy every year. Kat from christiansburg, VA USA

This is a nice bra and very pretty. Although it is my size, I came out a little on top and the lace turned in on me on my right side. I exchanged it for another brand and am waiting to receive it. I still give this bra a 4 star rating though. I do have to say I have worn every bra made (so I thought) until I found Her Room. Kudos to you Her Room. Judy from Summerfield, Florida

I might have liked this bra better if the seam was not so obvious under my clothes.

Goddess Response: I know it can be frustrating when we want an absolutely seam-free look and then we’re told there are no smooth bras available in our size! The truth is a bra with seams will shape and sculpt the breast tissue –actually making your silhouette look taller, longer and leaner. Often a seamless bra can make your silhouette look a tad larger, even a bit rounder. After all, our first impression of someone is their overall shape and proportion, not whether their bra has seams or not… Stacey from NJ

When I first put this bra on, I could not believe the fit. It fit perfectly! In fact it is like a second skin. This is my first "right" sized bra probably in my life and I couldn't be more pleased. Even after an 8 hour work day, followed by a long evening event, it still felt great. I'd like to venture into other bras of the "right" size but know this one is a match made in heaven for me. It is very pretty too. Who knew underwires weren't supposed to hurt. Nancy from Plymouth, MI. USA

This is the first comfortable - or bearable - underwire I've found it years. It was recommended to me by the software on this site. It fits very, very well, as though it were made for me. The cups are shaped exactly right for me, and the wires lay where they should. It was comfortable for about 12 hours, a very respectable run, before I felt a little pinching. A keeper. KQ from Ohio

I ordered this bra in 36I (unfortunately from Amazon) and was happy enough with the fit to remove the tag. Fitting problems aside (ordering a 34J next time I order this brand) the bra does create a bit of a 1950's torpedo shape. The WORST part is that the fabric under the band and on the straps feels like having the hook side of Velcro rubbing on you all day. At first, I didn't notice, but after about 4 hours it was bad, and the next day it hurt within 30 minutes of wear. It was so bad that I removed the bra AT WORK. I have a horrible red area up the line from my armpit to just over my shoulder and several other spots the bra has rubbed raw. It's such a shame that the fabric has that awful quality to it since the structure is fine! I wish I could return it, but it took wearing it to discover the problems! Look carefully at the back view and you'll see the offensive little loops in the bottom tape. Even washing and drying in hot water will not make them better.

Goddess Response: We’re so sorry this bra caused you such discomfort. It is the first time we’ve heard of problems with the fabrication, and we’ll certainly pass on your concerns to our designers. You mentioned that next time you would order a 34J, and by the sound of it this could alleviate some of the problems you’re experiencing. Very often, if the band is too big, the bra can move around the torso creating friction. By tightening up the band a bit, the bra won’t move around like that, and it won’t create that awful rubbing and chafing. A snugger band also provides a greater level of support and stability. Have you soaked the bra in fabric softener? We find that quite often this helps to soften the edges. As for the ‘1950s’ look you spoke about, sometimes we can experience a more projected look when the cups are slightly too small, because too much breast tissue can be forced into too small a space. This bra is amazing in its support. I highly recommend it. The only issue I am having is that it rubs the skin between my breasts and has caused an abrasion. Dharma from Fredericksburg, VA

cups small, elastic straps... does not support

Goddess Response: Very often it’s the size, not the style which causes the problem. Even the best bra in the world can’t do the job it’s designed to do if it’s worn in an incorrect size. Most of the support should come from the “body” of the bra, not the straps. The fact that you’re relying so much on your straps for support tells me you’re most likely in the wrong size. Generally speaking going up in the cups one or even several sizes, and then down in the band usually solves the problem. (Please refer to HerRoom's Bra Fitting Page for sizing and fit help.) The straps on GD6041 are limited stretch, and this style is designed to comfortably support a D11 cup! However, if you prefer rigid straps and a bra with maximum support and control, please try our fabulous new bra, Goddess Audrey Soft Cup Bra GD6121. Audrey features soft rigid straps with a movable padded strap cushion for complete motion control. Lynda from Danville, CA

Returned for larger cup size due to spillage from top of cup. Larger cup fits very well. It is a comfortable bra that gives full coverage. Band is very generous. Nice silhouette, but wish it were seamless. Cindy from Wheeling, WV
