This was just a hopeless bra for me. I was looking for a good everyday bra with both support and lift. The fabric was scratchy, the band created lets of underarm and back fat, although the cups fit properly. In other bras, the band and cup size also fit right even if there may be other problems (underwires digging into me for instance). This is my third bra from you and I am beginning to think that there is no bra that will fit me properly..... Maybe because I have large, heavy breasts but am quite short.

At 5'4" with a fairly petite frame I was having problems with slipping straps. This bra did the trick. Fits well, although other bras I have are 38 DDD's, you may need to go up on the cup size. The first one I ordered did not fit so I sent it back for an exchange. Her Room promptly made the exchange. Even as a woman in my 50's, I found the bra fitting guide to be very informative and did solve my issues. Never thought I would be able to buy a bra online. Thanks Her Room! I knew immediately when I took the bra out of the packaging that the cup size was going to be much too small. The garment itself was of good quality, it just did not fit. Item has been returned.

Goddess Response: All brands will fit differently depending on style and fabrication. If you’re accustomed to wearing a more “forgiving” stretchy bra, you’ll most likely need to go up a cup or even several in Goddess. Goddess is designed to provide a “custom fit” so we use a more rigid fabrication for the ultimate in lift and support. This style does tend to run a bit small in the cup (it’s pared down under the arm and in the center for a modern sexy look).

GD6081 is available to D5, so you could go up another cup size. If you need a style with larger cup sizes you might want to try the banded version (Goddess Rose Banded Underwire Bra GD6080) which is offered to a K-cup (D8). It might be that you’re not adjusting your breast tissue into the cups properly: Be sure to “swoop and scoop” your breast tissue from the back to the front into the cups. The back end of the under-wire should sit behind the breast tissue on your rib cage. This will make all the difference in how the bra fits, and most of all how it feels. It gives a lovely, very lifted shape; the coverage is not quite full so it looks prettier than a full cup bra. The front is low enough for most low cut tops; it doesn’t poke under the arms. I used to have the Goddess Daisy which was more supportive of a large bust as the straps and cup fabric weren't so stretchy and there was a bone in the side panel. I hate banded bras but for jogging or horseback riding I'd try the banded similar bra 6080, this one is just too stretchy for sports. An excellent fit for me, even the center panel touches the sternum, nice to find with a 40G. sharon from St Louis MO

Fits flat against chest but as the day goes on it constantly rides up my back.

Being short-waisted and plump I was looking for a bandless bra. The bands on banded bras always fold on me which is very uncomfortable. The Goddess GD6081 fits well in the band and the cups are nicely shaped. I wish it had at least 3 hooks, it only has 2, and for a girl my size that not enough support from the back band area. The straps are elastic and I wish they were not, or only part of the strap was elastic. The fabric while pretty, is a little rough (the lace is not smooth) and on my first two wearings irritated my skin by rubbing. Despite this, the bra is fairly comfortable but not perfect. I think as I wear it and wash it, it may soften up and become more comfortable. Benita from San Diego CA

This bra did not fit me too well. I ordered a H and should have gone up in the cup. I loved the bandless underwire and it would've been great if I had ordered the right size. I will be trying again after I'm properly sized.

This bra is lower cut in front and under the arms, which is appreciated, and the cups are nice and full. Unfortunately, the straps cannot be adjusted short enough, and the band it too long for petite women. This is just not the bra for me (5,2", 36H). It will be returned.

Goddess Response: Unfortunately not every style works for every body. Sometimes it takes a bit of “trial and error” to find that perfect size and style –and that process can be quite frustrating! You might want to try Abi Elomi bra 8100 in our sister brand Elomi. Abi is bandless, and cut lower in the center front with fully adjustable straps. I like this bra, overall. It does run small though. I am a 42DD, and this feels like it fits closer to a 40D. However, I bought it due to the never-ending problem I have of being poked in the armpit with every bra I've ever worn, and this definitely does NOT do that. This bra is feminine and comfortable. I needed a bra that wasn't very high up underneath the under arm and straps that stayed up. It has the function, support, and style needed to make this an excellent bra to buy. Just wish the straps were not made from the stretch material. Great bra for for anyone who needs a voluminous cup but finds most bras are cut overly long- especially if the under wire of most bras pokes high up into your under arm. It's voluminous but shallow- in a good way! The cups were too small, though I bought another Goddess style (Keira) in the same size at the same time and its cups fit well. The straps were made for someone w/ shoulders the width of a gorilla's, and missed my shoulders entirely unless I pushed them together so much that the cups rippled. The fabric is a bit prickly and uncomfortable. And I thought this style was touted as having more central straps than the "Rose Banded". Big fail.

Goddess Response: The Kiera is probably a better choice for you. There is also the Elomi Caitlyn bra style 8030 that would be a great choice for you in the 38G. It gives great support and the simplex fabric is similar to the fabric of the Kiera bra. The Caitlyn also has a center-pull strap that will stay on your shoulders better. Consumer Reporting from NY

This bra is very pretty. However I did not find it comfortable at all. I put it on and then went to work. After about 2 hours I was miserable. It chafed all around its pretty edges. I felt constricted and the wires dug in underarm. I never put it back on.

Goddess Response: It is possible that you purchased an incorrect size. When measuring yourself to get the band size measure right under your breasts where the wire goes and make sure it is super tight. Then do not add any inches to your measurement and that is your correct band size. Keep in mind that if you go down in the band you have to go up in the cup. For example your 46D is equal to a 44DD or a 42DDD and so on! Carol from orlando
