I think this bra would be excellent as a sports bra and as a bathing suit top, but the sizing seems to be off. I always wear a 44 or 46, and I couldn't get this bra around me in either size. I'm mystified. I've worn Goddess (as have most women of my bra size) for years. Yet, the Goddess bras of the last two or so years seen to be much smaller in circumference. I have two other Goddess underwires. They're fine but a little snugger than the older models. I'm very disappointed that the sports bra didn't work out. I think it's a good one for women who can hook it. Maybe the bras I tried on and returned were mismarked.

Goddess Response: Sport bras fit a bit snug in order to help anchor the band so it will not ride up during exercise. You may need to go up a band size. Susan from Houston, TX

I have tried many types of sport bras and this is by far the best for support. I use it for running, it keeps the girls in place. I have one so far that has lasted over 3 years and they also wash very well. Sarah from MI

Great fit, great support. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it goes a little higher up on the chest than I would prefer. Other than that, great sports bra. Terri from Michigan

A truly amazing sports bra for a difficult-to-find size. I really recommend this to anyone who needs a lot of support. It feels great, not too tight, doesn't smash my breasts, looks cute under my workout tops, and no chafing problems. I'll definitely be acquiring several of these to get me through marathon training. This is a great sports bra! It gives plenty of support and holds up well wash after wash. Although, I did find that I had to buy a larger size than normal. I have recommended this bra to several of my gym friends. I've also thrown out all of the other brands of sports bras that I own! Kris from North Carolina

This is the first sports bra I have ever had that has truly helped minimize the bounce. The band is just a little bit tight for me right now but since it doesn't hurt anymore when I am doing aerobics I am exercising more and losing weight. I'm sure that It will fit better soon ;). jen from Los Angeles

i sent this one back because it was not a good fit. the band around was tight; i'd order a bigger size for anyone ordering. i started to just keep it but realized that i'd never pick it out to wear because of the tightness. it's not your true size. jennifer from n. augusta, south carolina

In my "normal" bras I usually wear a 34FF, so when I read the reviews and since my daughter wears this bra in the 36G I decided to order 2 bras in that size. I am well pleased with the support when I am fitness walking and jogging. However, since I have a long upper torso, I found the straps cut into my shoulders and were almost unbearable until I purchased a pair of gel strap pads and that took care of the problem. Also, one of the 2 bras' band is significantly tighter than the other,(even though both are 36G's) making that one pretty uncomfortable for now, but my daughter says that hers have loosened up some over time so I am going to keep it and just hope that it does loosen up some. Overall, it's a really good sports bra, but I think I may try the Wacoal style the next time. Carolyn from Cedar Grove

I finally found a great sports bra for the larger breasted women. Fits great and not too much bounce in aerobics class or at the gym!! Love it! Jadie from Baltimore Maryland

This is a fantastic sports bra! Exactly what I have been looking for. It's not super pretty, and it does give you the "uniboob" effect, but if you're looking for support and almost-no-bounce, then this is it! For super high-impact sports, it probably would bounce some, depending on your size, but sometimes that just can't be helped. It does feel like it runs small, but I think that is part of what helps with the support. Erin from Arlington, TN

Does a great job of keeping everything in its place. The straps are very comfortable. I do not feel like my breasts are held down or squashed in this bra but when I go to do exercise they are supported. I do moderated aerobics in this bra. I think that if you were a runner/jogger that you might want a bra that was a bit sturdier. I was actually fitted for this bra. I had no idea it was a 40G until I got home. I have two Goddess 3910 which I ordered from Her Room and they are my normal size of 36H. I would say the band of this runs quite small. If you order this bra I would suggest ordering a few different band sizes to see which works best for you. Kristin from Iowa

I love this sports Bra! It fits perfectly and held the girls (breasts) in very nicely. It is supportive and your girls aren't flopping all over the place...LOL It also doesn't make you look like you have one breast....LOL I was skeptical at first because it was a bit pricey and I was concerned of whether it would fit, but I am thoroughly happy and would recommend the bra to other women large in size. This was the best sport bra I have ever tried on. At first, you think it is not going to fit around you. But the secret is to first link the clasps around your belly, then twist it around and pull the straps over your shoulders. Once I learned how to put it on, I was set. It greatly minimized my bounce better than any other sport bra I have tried. Relieved from Kentucky

Great support while I was on the Elliptical. The straps were starting to hurt a few hours later, but I may adjust them so I can wear it all day long - it is that comfortable, and provides excellent coverage. I'm definitely getting more. Susan from LA

Straps are not long enough and tend to cut into the shoulder area. The styling on this bra seems to have changed and is not as comfortable as the old style was. Not fond of the wide stiff elastic band. Sandy from Madison Heights, MI

This bra ran extremely small in the band. I tried both my regular size and the next size up and they were both so small I could not fasten the hooks. This was a surprise because I wear several other Goddess products that fit just fine. JB from Charlotte, NC

I LOVE this bra!! It is the ONLY sports bra I have EVER felt did an adequate job (after more than 20 years of trying to find one)!! I do wear an athletic running top with "built-in bra" over it when doing high-impact workouts, but I have no complaints at all about this bra! In addition to amazing support, the silver in the lining really does a fabulous job of keeping away odor no matter how many hours of sweat you put in! BD from Dallas, TX USA
