I am a nursing mom and currently wear size 36 H bras. When I went to try the bra on, it wouldn't even come close to clasping in the back. I decided to measure the length of the bra to see if it was even close to being 36 inches and it was 28 inches. I'm thinking that this bra runs VERY small, so you may want to order a little bigger to ensure that it will close in the back.

We recommend going up one band size and one cup size in this style –some of our customers even go up two band sizes for that perfect fit. Way tight so I'm sure it would keep you from bouncing but if you are a large size like me, you won't be able to get it closed! I ordered a 42 and I'm usually a 40. Still it was 4" shorter in the band than the 40" Goddess I got in the same order. I know it needs to be tight but you have to be able to get it on first! I am very small and well endowed. This bra and size does all I want. I wear it all the time (I have 4). It's nice to run randomly during my day and not worry about what kind of show I'm giving people. Very supportive and best of all no wires! Not recommended for low or wide cut shirts, unless you want to show your bra off. Mia from Utah

Style, and shape is great, I think it will be very comfortable with the right fit. Not true to size, it is SMALLER in the cups size as well. True it is a tight fit in the band size, but I think it should be if your using it for what it's designed for, to work out, and no it's not stretchy in the cups either, but then again, it's suppose to hold you in place and you work out. I ordered a cup size bigger because they don't offer a 36 GGG and it's still a little too small. I REALLY hope the next cup size up will work! ****Order 2 cup sizes up ****If you are actually going to work out in it the band size should be fine, it helps keep things in place! I did not care for the fit of this bra - the band was very tight and the fabric felt looser, but at the same time not stretchy like a traditional sports bra. A smaller size might have worked better for me, however, but I will not be ordering one.

Goddess Response: We recommend going up a band and then down a cup in this style for a perfect fit (48D4) in your case. This is my third Goddess Sport Bra. This one seems to be lighter and bigger and doesn't have the same comfortable fit as the other two even though they appear the same. My first one had some stitching pull out by the clevage which I stitched up and is good as new. Kathy

I just wore this item for the first time tonight, to a Zumba class. I really, really like it, and it's definitely the best sports bra I've found in terms of comfort and support. Minor issues included a tag in a weird location (under left arm) that I found moderately itchy, and very minimal spillover of cleavage in the front. But again, still my favorite sports bra! This is an excellent compression bra that offers a little more breathing room than an enell. There were many comments on here regarding fit (too small was the most popular comment) - but I agree with many others that if you follow the directions and the size chart, it WILL FIT. I am very happy with the bra and it has gotten me through zumba, pilates and even more "jumpy" classes involving plyometrics and jumping. It has SLIGHTLY more bounce to it than the enell, but not to the point where I felt remotely uncomfortable. I've had this bra before in a smaller size, I usually wear a 36H, and always felt i needed more room. I actually kind of like it but when i got this one, a bigger band size and i even went up a cup siz, it was still too small. I will be sending it back.

Goddess Response: You didn’t say exactly what is too small, the cup or the band, or both. If you’re finding both cup and band are too small, please try Universal Cup Size 40D6. If the the band is too small but the cup fits, try Universal Cup Size 40D5. If the band fits, and the cup is too small, perhaps try elomi Energise Underwire Sports Bra EL8040. Energize will give you the ultimate in support and motion control, without compressing the breast tissue. Please try a 38D7 in this style. I love this bra. I got the 42DDD first and then the 40DDD after I lost weight. I was able to start running for the first time in my life because of it and now am doing the Insanity workout. When I wore this same bra in a 36 D it was more comfortable. I lost enough weight to fit into a C cup, but I get a bit of gaping under the arms. I also feel that the band is more uncomfortable than my former bras, but I still find this the most comfortable bra for me. Comfortable bra is an oxymoron. Jane
