Loved the item but was unable to close it. I needed a larger size. Eve from Virginia

I love the length and comfort of this bra, however, the cup size is still too big. I normally wear a 40DD (dress size 20) and have tried this bra in 42D - not big enough around and cups way too big. I then tried it in 44C - fit around but cups still too big. I ordered the smallest cup size - 44B and the cups are STILL too big. How is that possible when my normal size is 40DD??

Goddess Response: Hi Kayce. GD0689 is part of our original “classic" Goddess collection, and has been a customer favorite for many years. This style has its own unique sizing, and we recommend going up one, or sometimes even two band sizes. It could be that you’re not “swooping and scooping” your breast tissue into the cups, and therefore it seems that the cups are too large. If you make sure to bring your breast tissue forward, from the back to the front, placing the breast tissue in front of the under-wire, into the cups, it changes the fit of the bra completely. You’ll find you’ve created more volume in the cups, and less volume in the band. Please refer to Tomima’s fabulous fitting tips and videos to help you. Kayce from Michigan

I originally got this bra because I got a tattoo on my shoulder and I couldn't have my bra straps rubbing against it while it healed; I'm so glad I found this bra! I've always hated strapless bras because they never supported my large breasts well but this bra is amazing!! It completely covers and supports my breasts and looks completely normal under clothes. I'm so glad I found it! Rebecca

I'm amazed that it fits! I ordered my usual size 34DDD and another in an alternate size 36DD (1 band size up, 1 cup size down, as recommended by other customers). The usual size did not close at all. The alternate size fit shockingly well! I have a curvy petite frame with a short torso, and the boning in this bustier fit me just fine. It leaves a smooth line around the waist rather than sticking out like a peplum at the hip, which is great. I highly recommend this over any other strapless bra for well-endowed ladies! Horrible breast shape in the cups. Love Herroom and all the options for larger cup sizes.

Goddess Response: GD689 is one of our classic styles, it has its own fan club, but it’s not for everyone. As with all bras it’s essential to be in the correct size! We recommend going up in the band one or two sizes, and then down in the cups for a perfect fit. Cordelia from Seattle

This bra truly is very supportive. I followed the directions and got the bra a band size bigger and cup size smaller (I'm a 34DDD). I'm 34-29-38 and short-waisted, and the bra fit perfectly lengthwise. It took a bit to get my breasts to conform to the cups properly, but only took some scooping and bending over. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the top of the bra sits very high on the chest, as it is a full figure bra, which creates an issue. I bought this bra to wear under my wedding dress, but it stuck out above the dress, and others I tried on as well. Still, it's worth having for any tops that have a higher neckline and you don't want to show your bra straps. Also gives you good posture! Sarah from Carroll, IA

Great product. My advice would be to follow the reviews-order a solid cup size down. I did not find it to be "Madonna" boobs, especially if you get the smaller cup so that you fill it out more. Plus, when wearing it with a form-fitting dress, it adds even more support and shape. I would recommend this to a friend. Erin from Sandy, UT

Did not like this longline bra at all. For a number of reasons: (1) the sizing is way off. I ordered my usual size, 36D. Could have fit 2 additional breasts in the cups. (2) The style isn't stylish, it looks like something from the 40s. Basically too structured, with too many seams that show through your clothes. (3) Even though the cups were too big, the waist fit. But the length of the bra was too long (I'm 5'4" and short waisted, so maybe that's the problem.)

Goddess Response: We recommend going up one or two band sizes, and then going down the equal number of cup sizes in this style. Perhaps a 36B would work better for you. Emma from Nevada

I ordered this on Sept 3 & it was on back order, so I just got it on 10/2. My regular size is 46H, so I did what a lot of reviewers do & ordered 1 band size up & 1 cup size down (I thought). Man, it's hard to get on by myself, but after I got it on & looked in the mirror with it, combined with the RAGO 6210 girdle, I look pretty spectacular!! In fact, the waist definition is exactly like the model's photo. The combination really sucks.... in a good way. It really sucks me in, & I love it!! Cathy M from Anderson, IN, USA

Bra was amazing, only wish it had a slightly deeper V. Bought it for a wedding and it wasn't until midnight that I started to feel it. Syritta from palm harbor

I purchased this bra to try on wedding dresses. Very pretty, but not comfortable. After about 30 mintues, the wires were digging into my skin and was very uncomfortable.

Goddess Response: It’s essential to be in the correct size in order for a bra to be comfortable. Please refer to Bra Fitting Advice Page to make sure you’re in the proper size Fall Bride from Jacksonville, Florida, USA

I fit in my correct bra size. I usually wear a 34DD in Chantelle unpadded bras if this helps for comparison. This also fit me really well for a tall gal! Great product - lifted the girls up and out! Kate from Nevada

Feels good for support but lace makes it a bit itchy. If it was satin only it would be perfect. I will say this is the first strapless that I feel fully supported in. Carolyn from Nj

I have to start positive: The ease of purchase and lightning-fast delivery get high marks. But the size was all wrong for me. I ordered the size I wear in a daily bra, but this band size was entirely too small -- so much so that I couldn't even clasp it to truly try it on -- and the cups were at least one size too big. Perfect fit, I did order a cup size smaller, as I usually wear a C cup. It worked perfectly, with the strapless dress. The smaller cup just seemed to hold everything up better. Kathleen from Florida

I ignored the comments to go up a band and down a cup, and ordered my true size. I am glad I did, this bra fits perfectly. I haven't tried it on with my wedding dress yet, but the lower back should be perfect with it. My only complaint is that it is a pain to put on by yourself, it really is a two person job. Bra didn't fit although I ordered my regular bra size. Cups fit perfectly but back too small. Instead of returning I just bought a bra extender. Shipping was fast. debbie from Lodi nj

I needed a strapless bra that would provide adequate support under my wedding dress, and this was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this bra for any woman whose bra size is larger than a "C" cup. Robin from Tallahassee FL

I was crazy over this. It was hard to put on; however once it was on it looked FABULOUS. To be honest this is more of a wedding day type of bra which is why its so long on the torso but I got it (even though I'm not getting married) because I'm busty and this provided a lot of support. Amber

Amazing! I ordered my true size and it fit perfectly (I'm a DDD so I went with F). Not very fond of the bra straps, but I won't be using them anyway. It's a bit of a struggle to hook it on your own, but I'm getting better at it. Surprisingly comfortable, I will definitely be ordering more. Anna from Las Vegas

The bra that I can wear without pulling the straps. Infact, I never wear this bra with straps because it always stays in place. This magic bra is the WINNER! Thanks, Chinyere A. O. Submitted from TheUndies.com
