A full shapewear slip will fall from bodice to hem, using some amount of compression for control and support. Depending on length, you can find control full slips that smooth thighs and hips, shape the rear, control tummy bulges and support the bust.
Most full-length shapewear slips use anti-cling fabrics so that your clothing will glide on effortlessly. Some styles have silicone gripper along the top edge to keep everything in place.
