I swim in the lake in our back yard for summer exercise. I have recently lost weight and needed a suit that fit my top AND bottom and one could feel effortless during water exercise. I needed to return the first few but this one is perfect! Great dry AND wet ! REGINA from WOLCOTT CT

This is a nice conservative suit. I like it. A couple of things regarding fit; it's true to size but the elastic under the bust is a little loose; it is a little long (I'm 5'5" and long torso so if you're shorter or short waisted then this suit probably isn't for you), if you're taller you'll be very happy with the extra length; the clip in the back is a little tough to get done up at first but when you get used to how it clips you should be OK unless your range of motion is limited; it's full coverage in the bottom; the bust shape looks a little strange but only from the top looking down. The bust shape results from the front piece of fabric being flat with a seam running vertically through the nipple and the side fabric attached to it down the suit. The seam is flat on your stomach but bends right at your bust. Look down at your bust and imagine a flat piece of fabric in front of you and the side panel attached to it. You can't really see the angularity of the seam transition from the front or side just looking down. It bugs me but no one else seems to notice. LAW from Ontario, Canada

I'm 5'6" and I wear 32DD bras. I initially ordered the same size in this swimsuit too. The band was a bit too loose and the cup a bit too small. Since there is no way to adjust the width, I exchanged it for a 30E. This fit much better and stayed in place through the laps. I could have gone a cup size higher to F and it might have worked perfectly. I'm pretty satisfied with the fit though. I'd say order a couple of sizes and pick the best fit. The swim suit is light and didn't cause any drag in the water. Kay

The bra did take care of the issues I always have being the size that I am, but the bottom of the suit was too big. It didn't fit snug like a suit should. Beautiful quality.... Judy from Northeast Ohio

Just bought the second one of these so I can have two to rotate between (I swim three or four times a week). Absolutely love this suit (I'm 5'7"). Cannot believe I ever swam without this suit. K from New Haven, CT

I originally liked this swimsuit well enough. As another reviewer commented, the bra support was pointy on me, but maybe I didn't have the exact correct size. Regardless, it was good enough. Now, however, after just 8 uses, the swimsuit trunk and bottom is extremely baggy. Also the red coloring has faded to a dull pink. I would have expected it to last longer than 8 uses for the price. This suit has a nice look, feel and supportive, bust fit. However, I am 6'0" and the suit length was not long enough for me. If you are shorter (or have a shorter torso) then I would recommend but not if you're a tall woman. K from Concord, NH

This swim suit fit very well, particularly in the bust, which is so difficult for us full-figured ladies. It provides complete support, better than I've ever had in a suit before. I was able to do whatever I wanted without worrying about spilling out anywhere. It does ride up a little in the rear, but it wasn't a problem. I bought it for boating and I normally wear shorts over my suite, so no problem. Besides, maybe it will be the incentive I need to lose that last 10 pounds! Cathy from Brownsburg, IN

I love this swimsuit, I wish it came in more colors! I bought it specifically for water aerobics and it's perfect. It has the look of a speedo, but provides the support I need--in a soft cup. The stripes on the sides make it flattering to my figure. And , it's comfortable. It's not the suit I'd wear to the pool or beach, but for activities/sports it is exactly what I wanted. I'm normally a 32G in Freya bras, but definitely have too much extra room in the cups on this suit. I think that is the main reason that I found it wasn't supportive enough. You should know that this suit does not have an under wire, but this is not a deal breaker for me. The cups still seem well constructed. The straps are not adjustable, so the top seems to hang too low (I usually need petite sizes being 5'1"). And yet, the bottom is quite tight, and this is not usually a problem for me. I usually need a smaller bottom. All and all, still a good effort by Freya. It's no easy task to come up with a one piece suit that will fit everyone. CB

I am so thrilled with this suit....ordered the lower sister size (36 instead of 38) because my hips are slim....It's a great supportive suit and the kris cross straps really give support. I was extremely comfortable and not at all self conscious about the cleavage. great idea to fit the bust! sally from napa

My breasts were pointy in this suit and absolutely no support elsewhere. Fabric does not stretch or support. So weird for a swimsuit. Couldn't get it off fast enough and returned right away. Super bummer.

Freya Response: Kim, it might be that you need to tweak the size a bit. Very often going down in the number (the body) of the suit, and up in the letter (the cup) of the suit will provide more stable support. Perhaps you have a long torso, and are finding that you don’t have enough length in the suit (which sometimes can tug on the top, which in turn pulls the breasts down giving that sensation of no support). If this is the case check out our Active Swim Tankini Top AS3184 which can be paired with your choice of bottoms. Kim from NM

I am giving this a full five stars just for how amazing the support is. As one other commented said, it goes on tight but then fits like a glove. jen from ny, ny

This swimsuit has great coverage and after a little practice is not too hard to get on. My only preference would have been if it had a little stronger support for large cups. It is significantly better than most swimsuits, however I would in a perfect world want the same support as the Freya bras. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and I find the cost reasonable.

Freya Response: Rebecca, we’re glad you are satisfied with your Freya suit! Thank you for your comments regarding the structure in the cups, we will take those into consideration. Rebecca from Tampa, FL USA

The "cups" are just soft, slightly stretchy bathing suit fabric, with seams. The pink was much duller than in the photos too. No go for me.

Freya Response: The rigid simplex fabrication in the inner cup, and the power-net back wings help to ensure stable support and secure anchorage. Whether you’re competing or simply going for a leisurely swim, you’ll do it complete confidence sally from Maine

Cup size ran small and I had to return for larger size (2 sizes up)

Freya Response: This style is available to an H-cup so you’re sure to find your perfect size. Rebecca from Ohio

I wasn't sure how it would fit in the bottom since you only order by bra size. I wear a size 12 in pants and it fit great! I haven't had a one piece that I was happy about since I was a teenager. rachel from USA

While I was excited this suit is supposed to be chlorine resistant, I was very disappointed in the sizing. I do have a short torso - but this suit was big everywhere. I am always a 32FF and this was HUGE around the body width wise. I think I'd have to size one or even two sizes down. This suit needs to be resized.

Freya Response: Every brand fits differently, so it’s important to be a little flexible about your size as you probably won’t wear the same size in different brands and styles. If you’re finding the body of the suit is too roomy for you, but the cup fits, try Universal Cup Size 30D6. If the cups are too large as well, try a 30D5 or even a 30D4. Paula from NY

Tight to get over the hips, but once you pull it on it fits like a second skin. Had to order up one cup size because of side spillage. Josephine

The website is wonderful and shipping was fast. Price was high but I found it to be inline with other websites. The suit itself was strange though. Because it had a sized top there were noticeable darts in the breast area that I did not like. It would be nice if you could choose the bottom to be a size s, m, or l. It was a little baggy.

Freya Response: We designed this swimsuit for maximum performance. Sure it looks fabulous and sophisticated, but it’s built for speed and comfort! Seams shape the breast tissue and provide super support… If you’re finding the bottom a little baggy, perhaps next time try your “sister size” (32D3): This will make the body of the suit smaller while maintaining the same cup size. I only give the 4 stars because while this is an ABSOLUTE fantastic bathing suit, it is very difficult to get in and out of. BUT, this is the very first time in a long while that the top fits perfectly. thanks Freya and Thanks HerRoom for a very fast delivery. Kathleen from Cairo,GA

This suit was more supportive than expected, but did not give me the greatest shape. I have a bit of a pointed shape rather than rounded, which I prefer. I had no problem with the function of the suit though. Elizabeth from Raleigh, NC, USA

The back of the suit is not designed as shown in the photo. The bottom portion of the suit doesn't end at the hip line (as shown). Instead, it ends slightly higher than the waist giving it a look similar to the back shown in the Freya AS3184 tankini. Not what the picture showed, and not what I wanted, so it's going back. Too bad, I loved the the suit otherwise.

Freya Response: We love this suit too! It might be that even if you’re tall, you’re short-waisted, (not a lot of room between the underside of your breasts and your hips). This would make the bottom of the suit come up higher on your torso. It could also be that the “body” of the suit is too large for you. You might want to try a 32FF which would make the body of the suit smaller, and the cup size would remain the same. Mary K. from Seattle, WA USA
