Freya Arabella Underwire Plunge Bra aa5721 Reviews

My normal size is a 36hh however when I purchased this bra it felt really big. I exchanged it for a 34j (which arrived today) and it feels much much better. The band is more snug and the cup is still comfortable. Unlike the picture, both the hh and j did not have a sheer cup, it was actually lined. I did some research and found out that gg-j sizes are actually have a model number of 5731 and do not have a sheer cup because more support is required. The bra also has 3 hooks, not 2. The bra seems supportive and extremely comfortable. I haven't tried wearing it all day but as of right now I am happy. One last note, if you are looking for a true plunge this is not it. This bra is more of a balcony bra though the center gore is a little lower but I would not consider this a true plunge bra. Sasha from NJ/USA

I felt that the picture was slightly misleading, that it seems to look like there is padding on the models bra. I wish there was padding in this size of a bra, it would benefit towards better support. Otherwise, it cuts into my sides quite a bit and irritates my skin. LOVE the thin stiff lightweight fabric. unfortunately bra requires you to be self supporting. straps pull from underarms, breasts left to flop, returning this item

Freya Response: It’s hard to say without seeing you in the bra. It might just be more of a size issue, than a style issue. You want to make absolutely sure you’re ordering the correct size. I really like this bra because it comes in a large cup size and is supportive, yet is still sheer and sexy. I bought one in black in a size 32GG, which is my usual size. However, when I bought it later in red, I went down a band size and up a cup size because the band tends to run on the bigger side. The fit was better in the 30H in this particular bra. Love love love this bra, for my fuller ladies I cannot believe how COMFORTABLE it is, they sit up nice and high where they are supposed to and cover where it should, yet has enough plunge to wear with fashion tops. I hope they come out with more colors soon! Sara from Seattle, WA

I have to say I have no personal experience with this bra. I bought it for my girlfriend who has trouble finding bras she likes. Being a 38E, she's frustrated that there aren't many cute/sexy bras available. She says it fits very well and was a bit surprised by that since she did not think she could wear a plunge style bra (she was worried of "falling out" of it). Since I am only an observer, all I can offer is that it is indeed quite sexy. More see-through than the picture seems. Bottom line: she's happy with it and so am I. Steve

The band size seems much larger than most brands but the cup size is also slightly larger. I wish I had ordered a 34DDD because it's a very pretty bra and it fits my petite figure well (minus the band). This bra is probably really pretty when sized right. But its too scratchy for me to want to bother retrying. Also, since I'm pretty soft from nursing, the top seam really cut into my girls and was not flattering. I don't think I could get a proper size in this style.
