This is one of the most comfortable underwire bras I've ever worn! Wish I could find it in white. Carolyn from Moss Beach, CA

I love how this looks, and it's very comfortable. However, the cup size was nearly 1 entire cup bigger than what I needed (which I typically wear a 34J perfectly). I'll be sending back to HerRoom to replace with a 34H to see if it resolves the cup issue and gives me a firm fit.... then I'll (hopefully) have a happy update! Christina from Roswell/NM/USA

Good fit, very supportive, but unless I'm sitting or standing pretty straight the underwire can be uncomfortable, it digs into my chest/sternum a little. Chandra from Ohio

This is the first time I bought this brand and I don't like the way it fits at all the cup is very uncomfortable.

Freya Response: Angie, we’re sorry you didn’t find a perfect fit with “Arabella”. We hope you will continue to try Freya in the future! angie from barbados

This bra was pretty, but the top edge of the bra came up high so it would be seen when wearing a low cut top/dress. Also, the reason I did not like it and returned it; was it made my breasts super pointed. I felt like i walked right out of a sixty's show/movie. It was terrible! I prefer a more rounded look, perhaps it was because of my breast shape-i don't know. But I would have like to know that is the look of this bra when on before buying.

Freya Response: Sherry, for a Freya bra with similar styling and a more rounded shape, we recommend Freya Lyla Underwire Plunge Balcony Bra AA4301. Thanks for trying Freya! Sherry from River Falls, WI USA

My husband LOVES this bra! He says it is very sexy. The cups are slightly big but not enough to go down a size. It is comfortable but snug around the band. Kathy from Barstow, CA USA

I was excited to find a plunge bra in my size, but there were two problems with Arabella. First, the cup size does indeed run small, and I could not size up. But even if it had fit, the center was far too tall to serve as a plunge bra.

Freya Response: Thank you for your comments regarding Arabella. We occasionally feature reinforced styling and slightly fuller coverage in our larger cup sizes to compensate for the increased stress on the bra and so that all of our Freya bras maintain the same standard of support that we love. We have taken these comments into consideration, and in the meantime recommend Freya Lyla Underwire Plunge Balcony Bra AA4301 as an alternative plunge in the same sheer styling as “Arabella”. Firstly, this is one of the Freya plunge/balcony bras that comes in a different model for GG and GG+ cups. While I was aware that the cups wouldn't be sheer all over in my size, I didn't know that the center gore is also **a full inch higher**, which means it's much more of a balcony style than a plunge. I have close-set, bottom-heavy boobs, and while the underwires on this bra weren't super widely-set, they just weren't close enough together to work with my breasts. The bra was really pretty, but the gore fit issues and the mesh all over meant that it wasn't comfortable or well-fitting enough for me to bother hanging on to it. In addition, the band was stretchier than I expected of a 30, if not to the same extent as the Freya Ada plunge, which I adore. I wish that Freya didn't have such a radically different GG and up version, because I honestly think the lower gore would work better for me, but alas. I also hope that HerRoom will eventually add cautionary notes to some of these listings so that GG+ customers don't get a shock when they order these bras. It's hard enough finding brands that carry my size without also having to divine how exactly the higher cup sizes might differ from the lower sizes.

Freya Response: Florence, we’re not sure if the “mesh all over” that you’re referring to is a comfort or an aesthetic issue. The bra is a sheer mesh fabrication, as pictured. Often times, we design our GG+ cups with an additional layer of sheer mesh to support the usually heavy breast tissue of larger cup sizes, and ensuring they meet the Freya standard of support for the rest of our cup sizes. We will take into consideration your suggestion regarding annotating these bras that are reinforced in the extended cup sizes. Thank you! Florence from Texas

For years I have worn the wrong size bra. After being measured and told I was a 30H then finding HerRoom and ordering the 30H and being disappointed it did not fit and having to return it. Fortunately, I had ordered a bra that could only be exchanged so I orded the Freya Arabella in a 32H. HALLELUJAH!!! I found my perfect size and fit finally. I am truly satisfied with the bra and the fit is just right. Thank you HerRoom because of you my twins are finally happy, supported with a pretty and sexy bra. ;-) Ingrid from Emeryville, CA - USA

So, I'm looking for a bra using my real size (34J) rather than squeezing in smaller cups and bigger bands..... This bra looks cute, but the sizing was off--The stiff wires in the center overlap when I put it on (as if my breasts should be farther apart--) It just doesnt sit naturally nor does it push up so I choose to return it.....maybe the cup size ran smaller on it?

Freya Response: A non-molded bra will not provide a “push-up” effect as you specified, but should provide lift and support. To further determine if the bra was too small, the underwires should extend to nearly beneath your underarm and rest flat against the chest wall in the center. Another brand to consider is our sister company Fantasie, which features underwires that are slightly wider that could accommodate the breast tissue in the center that was forcing the wires to overlap in the center gore on your Freya bra. It’s possible that this was displaced from the sides where it belongs and came to rest in the center, since this was not the bra for your body type. apes from philadelphia, pa

Cups were too big and I did not appreciate the return shipping cost esp. when they recommend sending it back certified mail. This is why I hate ordering online.

Freya Response: Debbie, we use UK sizing at Freya, and our bras tend to run fairly deep in the cups. Depending on whether or not the underwire was also too narrow, this could be a simple sizing issue. If you wear a 34D in American brands, we recommend a 34C in Freya. Debbie from Meriden, CT

It fit my heavy breasts well, but the fabric was incredibly scratchy. I figured the fabric had to be that stiff in order to give proper support, but after just a few washes, the fabric in the cups ripped completely. Joanna from Wellesley, MA

This is my first "real bra." I say that tongue-in-cheek, but it's almost true. Most of my adult life I've been squeezing into Ds or DDs. Ugh. But I decided I needed to get a "big girl" bra before my breasts get misshapen from wearing the wrong bra (is that a thing?) Anyway, I got this bra because it has excellent reviews and is so darn cute. I also wanted a see-through bra for a little sexiness under shirts (I hate feeling "strapped in.") I was so happy this came in so many sizes! I ordered the size I measured into using HerRoom's chart, but like a lot of reviewers said, the cups do run a little small. Maybe I'm just not used to "real bra" sizing. I wish I had sized up per the reviews, because the cups dig a little on the sides of my breast and into my breastbone. My boobs also "spill over" the top bit. This makes the bra look like a push-up bra a bit, which I'm fine with. I just need to remember to size up next time. I've been wearing this bra for a week now and I think it'll work out great. I will definitely order again...and next time I'll size up! Susie from St. Louis, MO
