Freya Response: Usually when you get a black bra the fit is a little more snug in the band and the cup due to shrinkage in the fabric when the bra is dyed black. It is possible that the red will fit differently than the black. If it cuts you under the arm is it possible that the cup is too big for you? Try pulling the straps down a bit to see if that helps and make sure the band is lower on your back so the band of the bra is parallel from the front to the back-should always be even, not riding up your back. Freya Response: Gwen, check out our fabulous new Freya “spacer racer-back” sports bra 4891 –just the ticket for ladies like yourself who prefer a rounder seam-free look… This soft cup bra has breathable spacer fabric moulded cups, and of course uses Coolmax fabric to wick away moisture and keep you cool and comfy. Also the light spacer foam padding will provide the modesty factor you’re looking for. I know you’ll love this bra! Gwen from California
Sharon Response: So often it’s not the style of bra which isn’t working, it’s an incorrect size! It’s difficult to say what the specific problem might be as you haven’t given us a lot of details. Please refer to Tomima’s 3 Steps to a Fabulous Fit to help you. Sharon from Roseville/CA/USA
Freya Response: Freya 4392 is one of our all-time customer favorites! It’s a sports bra, so it’s designed to give complete “motion control” support, and it should be fairly snug to begin with. Don’t worry, generally bras will stretch with washing and wearing… –but if meanwhile you find it’s just too uncomfortable, you can use an extender for a while until it does stretch. Anne from Shakopee, MN USA
Freya Response: We agree, 4392 is a super supportive bra, and yes, the breasts are lifted high-high-high which gives quite a “European” silhouette. Perhaps you’d like our Freya 4002 sports bra: This fabulous little number has under-wires to help with support. It still has quite a defined look, but the shape is softer and less pronounced than #4392. Although it’s not seam-free, lots of women love the shape it gives them so much that they’ll wear it as an everyday bra. Also, we’re very excited to introduce our brand new Freya Active bra #4891 (Shipping in Dec. 2011): We call this our “racer- spacer” style. It’s a soft-cup bra with breathable spacer fabric molded cups giving you a perfectly smooth and natural look, with optimum support. You’ll be able to wear this seamless style under your tightest T-shirts! If you’re finding the 32-band is too loose for you –but the cups fit –try a 30G. Diana from Suffolk NY United States
Freya Response: We’re so glad you love this bra, we love it too! We recommend you buy your bras to fit on the loosest hook. Unlike some other sports bras our cups are non-stretch, which is extremely important for maximum support! The band however will relax a bit with wearing and washing. If you’ve started on the loosest hook, you can tighten up the band as it stretches to help recover some of the support. Are you putting your bra into a lingerie bag in your laundry? Washing machines can be pretty brutal on bras, particularly when the bras have under-wires –lots of stress and strain especially in the spin cycle which can weaken the seam closures. Also, it’s important to use a lingerie wash, because many harsher detergents actually eat away at the elastic used in the fabrication. It’s also a great idea to alternate the bras you wear on a daily basis: This can really prolong the life of your bra. Mallory from Okinawa, Japan
