I've been working out recently and needed to upgrade to a real workout bra. The Freya was an amazing choice! Using the info from other reviews that they run a little small, I selected the size I've been wearing. I'm between sizes right now because of my weight loss plan. The bra fits quite well, even over my heart rate monitor strap, and definitely tempers any movement while I'm working out (circuit training, weight training, elliptical). The one thing that prevents me from giving a five star review is how the straps bind around the front of the arm. It's quite tight. I don't know if it's because I have more inches to lose from my shoulder/upper arm area, or how the bra is cut. But women with fleshier upper arms and shoulders may want to try it on before making a decision to keep it. Ann from Southfield, MI

It lifts the "girls" and provides great support while working out. Submitted from TheUndies.com

Supportive enough for running, but does not squeeze the breath out of me. No uniboob here. Has a wide band with a rise in the center which is comfortable on my abdomen. Submitted from TheUndies.com

This bra does have good support and seems to hold things in place during an intense workout. The reason I did not give 5 stars was because the fabric is somewhat rough along the seam and rubs uncomfortably under the armpits. Jennifer from Fort Collins, CO

Runs very small.

Freya Response: Diana, thank you for your feedback about the Freya sports bra you tried. It does run smaller in the cup than most Freya bras, due to the firm fabrication we use to accommodate high-impact exercise. We hope you find your true size in this bra and continue to try Freya in the future! Diana

Did not fit true to size at all. It also gives breasts a very pointed look

Freya Response: Rebecca, we’re sorry your Freya sports bra didn’t work out for you. Some customers have found that this style runs small in the cup. We also suggest trying style Freya Active Molded Spacer Racerback Sports Bra AA4891 , which features a lightweight and breathable spacer cup style moulding for comfort and versatility. In the near future, we will be offering a sports bra in this fabrication that also features an underwire. Thanks for trying Freya! Rebecca from United States

I have a large chest and I work out frequently and vigorously. I'd been using another sports bra that was pretty good, but I thought I'd try the Freya Active and I LOVE it. It makes me look and feel smaller chested, without the uniboob look. I want 3 more of these! Heather from Knoxville, TN

This bra runs very small in the cup. I'm normally a 34DDD so I ordered this in 34E. The bra arrived and was way too small so I exchanged it for a 34F. The fit was better with the F but the center wire of the bra was still a good half inch away from my body. I am returning it for a refund as herrom only allows one exchange and will not offer the original on sale price that I payed for a new purchase. I think that this would have been a great sports bra, if I could have gotten it to fit. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to find out. Anyone buying this bra, be sure to order at least one cup size larger than usual.

Freya Response: Rebecca, thank you for your comments regarding the fit of your Freya sports bra. We are offering a new underwire style in the near future that may be better suited for you – stay tuned! Thanks for trying Freya. Rebecca from San Antonio

I had never bought this brand before and it was too large so I had to return it although it looked very nice.

Freya Response: Jeanette, Freya bras are measured in UK sizes which generally run a full cup size larger than US sizes. We recommend ordering a size down when trying Freya. Jeanette from Houston

Looks like good quality, but unfortunately it didn't fit, too small in the bust. Guess, I'll have to go up to the next cup size.

Freya Response: The extra-firm fabrication of this sports bra may cause it to fit small in the cup, especially if you are full on top. We’re glad you were satisfied with the quality and are willing to adjust sizes to keep it. Thanks! hope this is helpful from Big Stone Gap, VA

I ordered this sports bra to run in. It is so difficult to find one that fits and actually holds me in. The bra is amazing.. I forgot I was wearing it; it's that comfortable! You don't get a "uni-boob" but you do get pointy boobs(not cool), I felt a bit uncomfortable because of my pointy boobs the first time I wore it.. But, I got over it. The only complaint I have is that it fringed on the shoulders the first time I washed it :( but, I kept it anyway. Great buy!

Freya Response: We’re so happy to hear you’re satisfied with your Freya Active sports bra! We will soon be offering a seam-free option in a breathable spacer-cup fabrication, similar to Freya AA4001 but featuring an underwire. This should help with the issue you mentioned regarding shape, yet still provide great support. Thanks for trying Freya! Jericca from CA

I usually fit a 34DDD, and following the size chart I ordered this bra in a 34E. However, when I tried it on the cups were too small and it seemed to be squishing my breasts too far to the side. So much so that it was uncomfortable to lower my arms. I'm exchanging it for a 34F, hopefully that will fix the problems.

Freya Response: Becca, we will take your comments regarding size into consideration and hope that your 34F provides a better fit for you when it arrives. The seaming and firm fabrication in this bra offer great support and we are glad that you are continuing to try Freya bras. Thanks! Becca

I love this bra! I wear a US 30FF(genetic) and have never had a sports bra of this kind. The thing I've always hated about them is that most turn your chest into one big shapeless, uniboob mountain. This bra really supports you but maintains your womanly shape. I feel comfortable doing the most bouncy activities including jumping on my rebounder trampoline. Caroline from North Carolina

This bra seemed to run small. I know sports bras are supposed to be snug, but this was really tight. The shape was a little pointy. I returned it.

Freya Response: For a more rounded shape in a sports bra, we recommend our Freya Active Molded Spacer Racerback Sports Bra AA4891 in a super-breathable spacer cup fabric that also gives a seam-free fit. Remember that bras have a “break-in” period of several wears, so we still suggest erring on the smaller side when considering band sizes. S.L. from Michigan

This actually keeps my chest from bouncing during exercise. Not so comfortable that I'd want to wear it all day, but certainly for an hour a day it's fine. Gives great shape, very uplifting. ALU from Traverse City, MI

Normally I wear a 28G but for me the 30F is fits just right. I love Freya's bras and this sport bra is no exception. Compression bras never fit right and I either still bounced, couldn't breathe, or both. Now, I can finally ride my horse without bouncing and be comfortable at the same time.
