It was amazing how horrible this made my breasts look. It squashed them horizontally and made them super pointy, like sad saggy Doritos. It also wasn't comfortable at all. I have yet to find a brand that works as well for me as Freya, but this one is a bad egg.

Freya Response: Ashley, we think you will have better luck in our new Freya style Active Underwire Crop Top Sports Bra AA4004 crop top sports bra. It has a firmer moulding than our other moulded sports bras that will function similar to the seams in the bra you tried, but in a more round shape. It also has a j-hook feature that allows the bra to be converted to a racerback. Thanks for trying Freya! Ashley from Kansas

This is a great sports bra for leg days or general cardio. There is little-to-no movement with this bra, and while I can tell I'm wearing it, it doesn't hurt even after a couple of hours. However, if you're doing arms, or anything that requires a lot of arm movement or torso twisting, it will chafe at the shoulders and under the arms and breasts. Also, the seam (clearly visible in the pictures) on this comes right at the point of the cup, and is visible even under a thick cotton shirt, let alone a workout top. I'm okay with that, but I know it would bother some people. Deanna from Colorado

In love with this sports bra. Yes it does make your boobs pointy but who cares when you have support like this. I do however have to adjust my nipples a little so they sit right since my nipples sit higher with implants Carrie from Colorado

This is a great sports bra. I ordered one cup size up as the other reviews suggested and it fits great. Great support, looks good and makes your shape good, comfortable straps. One day I had it on all day and by the end of the day I was ready to get it off, but for working out it is very comfortable. Diana from Virginia

The comments regarding the tight band on this bar are right on the money. I usually buy bras with a 40 band, even though I should properly wear a 38, so I thought a 40 would be fine. Whoa! I could barely get the bra hooked, and forget trying to hook it in the front and then rotating it. I love the look of the bra and would have returned it for a larger band, but the sides of the bra are very low and cut right into my fat. Very uncomfortable. Back it went.

Freya Response: Jenny, it’s important that we keep our bands snug during any workout. As an alternative, you may want to try our other non-wire sports bra Freya Active Molded Spacer Racerback Sports Bra AA4891 that comes in a seam-free spacer cup fabrication, (also great for breathability!) Both styles come in a 40 band if you need to size up. Jenny from Chicago

Proper support without any compressing. Sensible bounce when running and jumping, but great as a regular bra. Sure it's my bra to cherish and preserve shape and health of my breast! I'm EU 32E but use 32F. Stasia from Moscow

Great bra! Exactly what I needed. A bit snug at first at the breast line. I am probably a 341/2" but so far I love this sports bra. Training for a 6.5 mile race and this bra is exactly what I needed. Love the color combo too! Karen from Washington, DC

I wear a 40GG in Elomi bras, but the 40GG Freya was right band, too-small cup. It's still wearable, but I'll be going up a cup size next time. Size issues aside, works as advertised, and remarkably comfortable. D from Madison WI

Awesome support and profile; extremely comfortable to wear. I'd LOVE a daywear bra in simple colors [nude, black] with this fit to wear all day long! Jo

I did not like this bra, tried it on once and sent it back. It was itchy, Gave me Madonna boobs and didnt give me enough support for my 38DDD boobs. Even my Fiance said "Return it" right away. I recommend the Shock Absorber Infinity if you are a bigger girl doing high impact sports. That is an amazing bra!

Freya Response: The 4391 is a soft cup bra without a wire. For maximum support it is best to wear an active bra with a wire. The Freya 4492 and 4392, or the Elomi 8040 energize bra would be a better choice for you. DeeJay from Phoenix Arizona U.S.

Too small;fabric is itchy and irritating

Freya Response: Try going up a cup size? Always wash the bras before wearing to prevent irritation on the skin. You might want to try a different style with alternative fabric! Lauralea from Thomas

Overall, the garment does what it is supposed to do. I wore mine for distance running and had no jiggle or breast pain. However, the cups are pointy and the stitching that attaches the hook and loop band to the bra band is very sharp on both of mine, causing bloody welts every time I run. I have had to discontinue wearing mine and have gone back to the drawing board. This customer is disappointed.

Freya Response: 4391 has a very European shape, meaning it’s quite defined. You might like our under-wire version Freya 4392 which has a softer silhouette (so it’s less pronounced). We will certainly let our designers know about your experience with the stitching. Kitty from Richmond, VA
