Freya Underwire Sports Bra aa4002 Reviews

Love it. This bra actually supports the girls when I run or jump around in exercise classes. With my old sports bras, my breasts were frequently sore but that's never happens now. The bra also keeps me cool since it separates the breasts from each other. The only downsides are that the bra makes my breasts a little pointy and doesn't seem to provide any size minimization. This is my second go-around for this one. It is one of the most supportive bras I have ever owned. Even though it is a "sports bra" it also works well under dress-up clothes as well (provided they have substantial coverage/modest). Jessica from Lexington, KY, USA

This bra did not work for me. I called customer service just to make sure I was ordering the correct size. I normally wear a 34G, they recommended the 34F. The cups were way way too small although the band size was perfect. I also ordered the Donna Karan sports bra in 34G. It was perfect.

Freya Response: Happy the DK worked for you –it runs a bit fuller and the cups are stretchier than the 4002. If you still want to try 4002, I would recommend that you try the FF- or G-cup. 4002 provides a very specific fit, with non-stretch cups to ensure complete “motion control” with no bounce. Unfortunately it was a tiny bit too small in the cups, but the band was the perfect fit for exercising. The seaming across the bust isn't the most modest, but at least they give you two breasts in stead of one!! It is very good on 'bounce control' and I'm excited to try it out!! mallory from OH,USA

Freya Response: We normally find customers may need to go up a band size; but overall the cups fit true to size. It is a sport bra that has a bit of a more “controlled” fit (but not a uni-boob look in which the breast are flatten) - Betty

I’d add that compared to other sports bras which can have stretchier cups and tend to flatten the breast tissue, this4002 style is more of a specific “custom” fit, so it’s absolutely vital to be in the correct size. - Freddy ania from Frisco

I really like this bra. It doesn't give me unibreast and it provide good support for low impact activities -- yoga, pilates, spinning, and walking. I don't do high impact cardio so I don't know how well it would support those type of activities. For my needs however, I haven't found a better fitting or more comfortable sports bra. Not crazy about the seam across the front, but I knew it was there when purchasing it. Just wear with something other than a tight tee shirt. Once adjusted properly, it gave good support and felt comfortable. Bobi from USA

Best sports bra I've ever owned. I've danced all my life, and I was recently asked to be in a performance of Singin' in the Rain--a lot of tap dancing. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to find a bra with enough support, but low and behold the Freya Underwire Sport Bra. The nude color is an added bonus because I can wear it under more revealing clothing and the straps aren't seen on stage. The only downside to this bra is the seam across the center of the breasts, as it shows through tight (dance) clothing. Elaina from St. George, Utah
