I am a larger cup size with a smaller band and I use this for both kickboxing and running and this bra keeps the bounce factor to a minimum without being to heavy which is great for hot and humid Texas summers. Submitted from TheUndies.com

II really like how it does not use the uni-boob solution, since that just creates more sweat in between the girls while you work out. I've heard complaints about the stiffness of the band and the seams on the cups. From everything I have read lately, seamed construction is more supportive. Plus, you don't really want the band to give while running, because that is holding most of the weight. This has been the most supportive sports bra I have ever owned. I currently run 5K's with it, so you know it is more than just a yoga bra ;). Ann from AZ

This bra is a bit tighter than others in the Freya line that I wear. That said, it is a sports bra and it does it's job very well. In high impact sports or gymnastic moves like running and handstands I have not had any concerns about the girls moving around. It is a full coverage bra so be aware that you can't wear a low cut shirt without it showing. I also think that the cups are a bit smaller than the regular Freya cup sizes. The only thing I would change is that there is a big seam that runs right across the front of the cups and it shows through my work out shirts. Other than that it is a great bra. Great bra! It does have a slight conical shape but it is very comfortable and does a great job at compressing! Had to go up in cup size to get the center panel to lay flat - and it is still not 100% flat, but it is so close that I'll just keep it. Ashley from chattanooga, tn

Before buying this bra I had been wearing the 34H of the same model. When I increased the cup size, I expected the band to stay the same. That is not the case - the bra is brand new and I'm using the tightest hooks. In spite of that, the bra is comfortable and I think I'll get another. A from Milwaukee, WI

Love this Bra. It's the third I've owned. It must do its job, as I just had to order it in a smaller size. Keeps the girls locked and loaded. Deb from Allen, TX

I typically wear a Wacoal 32DDD bra, but given suggestions of a looser band in Freya, I tried a 30F. The band on the last hook was comfortable for trying on but I would probably need to tighten it if used for exercise. The cups fit oddly. There was extra fabric around the seem, but "spill over" at the top. I am probably the wrong shape for this cup style. The center gore also goes up fairly high and was not flesh with my ribs. Overall, I the style of the bra may not be ideal for everyone.

Freya Response: PK, we’re sorry that your cut-and-sewn Freya sports bra wasn’t right for you. You’re correct in asserting that not all bras are suitable for all bust types. We recommend Freya Active Underwire Molded Spacer Sports Bra AA4892 in a breathable spacer-fabric moulded cup which will give you a smoother silhouette than the puckering cups you experienced with AA4002. Thanks for trying Freya! PK from Virginia

I'm active - kayaking, hiking, just started to jog/run again. I still have some bounce but compared to other sports bras I've tried this one has minimal bounce and is quite comfortable. Planning on buying more of this style and brand. Sarah from Atlanta

Seems like a well - made bra, but fit was inaccurate, tried using all fitting techniques but ended up with too small around and cups too large. Have decided to reorder but a different style and different size after going through fitting explanations again.

Freya Response: Julie, this sports bra is firmer in the band than our everyday styles to provide more structure during high-impact activities. This occasionally requires some compensation when choosing sizes. We’re confident that you’ll love your Freya sports bra in the proper size! Julie from Kamloops, BC Canada

I can jog comfortably in just this bra without feeling like I can't breath because my chest is so compressed (most other sports bras have this effect for me). I have had this bra for 3 years and it is still performing well and nearly as comfortable as my brand new one, despite hard wear at least once a week. EB from Pennsylvania

Not the most comfortable bra that I have purchased. I thought it was because it was new and needed breaking in but by the end of the work day I ready for it to come off.

Freya Response: Tonya, it may be that this bra needs to break in a little farther before it reaches its ideal fit. It wasn’t mentioned how long you had been wearing the bra – we find it usually takes 3 or 4 wears before any of our bras are most comfortable. This sports bra also features a firmer band and firmer straps, meaning the bra will fit and feel more snug in the areas. We hope you continue to try Freya and continue to wear your new sports bra, as it’s one of our favorites in our wardrobe. Thanks! Tonya from USA

It's my first time ordering a Freya anything, so while I have exchanged, I am waiting to give a better review. I wear 34JJ/K in Panache and I ordered the 36J based on the reviews. I found the back to be too large and the cup too small, but the smallness of the cup is probably because I'm closer to a K at the moment. my initial feelings are that this will be a good sports bra in the right size. but if you wear 34 in panache, I would recommend staying with that back size and your most realistic cup size. The shape is not the best but for a sports bra it's pretty good and i didn't feel smashed, just pointy.

Freya Response: Cassie, as Freya and Panache are both companies that utilize UK sizing, we recommend starting with the size you usually wear in one brand when ordering the other. Our cut-and-sewn sports bra does give a projected silhouette, however these seams provide the structure needed to offer maximum support during high-impact activities. We hope you enjoy the feel of this bra, as you noted that you didn’t feel “smashed”. We call this “encapsulation” fit - meaning the breast tissue is fully captured and supported by the bra - versus “compression” fit, where the bra compresses tightly against the body to reduce bounce. We think you will find the encapsulation fit healthier and more comfortable during your workouts. Thanks! Cassie from USA

I wrote a review of this about six weeks ago. I wanted to add that since then, I've lost some weight. The cups pucker--I've probably gone down an entire size. HOWEVER, the bra STILL works just as well. I have run up to eight miles in it with almost no bounce. I barely feel the bra--or my boobs!--whatsoever. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is starting a weight loss journey. I wasn't, but the fact that I don't feel immediately compelled to replace this bra (as I do my Freya decos...) is awesome. Breast sizes change so quickly when you lose weight and these bras are expensive--but you should know that once you buy this one, it'll last with you for a while. :) Rachel from Seattle

Based on the reviews this did not give me as much support as I expected. I will not be able to wear this for high activity sports such as running, or cardio classes.

Freya Response: Aly, we hope you will still find a place in your life for your Freya sports bra (we love ours!) and we’re happy to hear that you found it fit properly. We will be releasing a new underwire Freya sports bra in the near future with a seamless, breathable moulded cup that may suit your needs better than your current Freya sports bra. Thank you! A really nice supportive bra that certainly does the job it's advertised to do. It is a lot of bra and not for the very slender built or a lady with a short-torso. A word of caution, which I did not take and wish I had, order this bra in your regular cup size but BE SURE to go up one size in the band. This is a must; otherwise, you will be uncomfortable at first, and your ribs will feel pressure. As good if not better than all my Wacoal bras. Comfortable straps that DO NOT dig, a substantial and sturdy bra. It's not exactly the workout bra of my dreams but I wholeheartedly recommend it, and I will definitely order again. I didn't give it a 5 because the band sizing should be made true to size as all other 34 bands are and fall in line with your measuring specifications. Her Room is such a great place to job with a huge selection in sizes and price points, and customer service is outstanding. Colleen from Tustin Ranch, CA

This was my first online $50+ bra purchase, and since then I've bought a swimsuit (also reviewed on here!) (Freya Pier Underwire Halter) and two Freya decos. I am so happy I bought this bra. I never considered doing any form of high-impact exercise before purchasing it, and now I've been running about 10-15 miles per week. It is the only bra to ever hold everything in place and after I run, I don't feel like I've added three years worth of sag to my breasts! My only issue (and this is my fault) is that I ordered the nude one, and it is pretty ugly. I would like to run without my shirt off at some point, but not in my ugly nude bra :(. Do note: it's tight! My swimsuit is a 30DD, and my Deco bras are 30E. I've worn a 28F before as well. As a 32DD, this bra is by far my "largest," and I do have to use the second hook. It is, however, my best fitting bra as well! Rachel from Seattle
