This bra size runs very small. I had to triple check the label when I put it on because it was so difficult to hook up. Also I was spilling over the cup. While wearing the bra for a shorter run, it caused chafing that I wasn't expecting. I'm really disappointed by this bra Paula from Royal Oak, MI

The band was tight and the cups are smaller. Marilyn from Baton Rouge, LA

The bra had excellent support and lift. One I put a shirt on I could see the seem along the center of the cup. Not acceptable to me. ming from Boulder, Colorado, usa

The bra fit well, but the sides were cut very high across the underarm. The material was extremely uncomfortable and irritated my skin to the point that I developed a rash. I was less than pleased with the product I received after what I expected from the posted reviews. Michaela from USA

I'm 120 lbs and 5"1. It has been so hard to find a sports bra that gives me support and doesn't hurt my upper traps. I'm happy I can do any exercise at the gym and I'm not self conscious. Now I can focus on being strong and beautiful! Bridget from Tuckahoe, NY. usa

I had high hopes for this bra- it is great at holding everything firmly in place. The cup size feels right and the band size feels right. BUT the placement of the straps or the height of the side panels is literally cutting off the circulation in my arms. It is actually very painful for me to wear this bra. Then when I try to hook the should straps together to make it more like a razor back bra, it's even worse- the seam is cutting into a tendon or muscle or something. Kate from Pittsburgh, PA USA

The cups are slightly smaller than a standard bra, but perhaps that's by design as to help hold you in. The bra is very comfortable, and provides separation that I have NEVER gotten with other sports bras. So it provides a more natural shape, rather than 'uniboob'! Nelda from Texas

Don't like the fact that the seems show through t-shirts. Not comfortable for more than a couple of hours. Cup size runs really small Jana from Aiken, SC, US

I purchased this item back in January and love it. I ordered 3 because I liked them so much. The only sorta issue I have is some of my V-neck shirts I can't wear with this bra. I have to wear an undershirt or tank top over my bra. When the weather is warmer I don't want to wear more layers. I also like that I can run in them comfortably. The 4 hooks feels super supportive, but they don't pinch at all. Janel from Denver, CO

I'm a 38H and I wore this bra when I went to a trampoline park for an entire hour and it was perfectly comfortable and supportive the whole time without needing to be adjusted once. If there's a higher recommendation, I have no idea what it is. Victoria from Philadelphia, PA, United States

I am pleasantly surprised by the fit and quality of the bra I ordered. This is the first bra I have purchased that fits great and is so comfortable. My size is hard to find and usually I do not have many choices but thanks to your website I now have many choices. I will definitely continue to order from your website. Thanks again for solving my problem and for a great product. Diane from South Plainfield, NJ USA

The band is perfect. The cups are too small, but I knew they would be, K is the closest to my actual cup size as I've been able to find. Despite the cup size issue this bra has done well so far at keeping the bounce factor down. I'm not fond of the encapsulation style sport bras however, this one is the most comfortable one I've tried thus far. Rose from Deerfield/New Hampshire/USA

I am a larger cup size with a smaller band and I use this for both kickboxing and running and this bra keeps the bounce factor to a minimum without being to heavy which is great for hot and humid Texas summers. Submitted from TheUndies.com

II really like how it does not use the uni-boob solution, since that just creates more sweat in between the girls while you work out. I've heard complaints about the stiffness of the band and the seams on the cups. From everything I have read lately, seamed construction is more supportive. Plus, you don't really want the band to give while running, because that is holding most of the weight. This has been the most supportive sports bra I have ever owned. I currently run 5K's with it, so you know it is more than just a yoga bra ;). Ann from AZ

This bra is a bit tighter than others in the Freya line that I wear. That said, it is a sports bra and it does it's job very well. In high impact sports or gymnastic moves like running and handstands I have not had any concerns about the girls moving around. It is a full coverage bra so be aware that you can't wear a low cut shirt without it showing. I also think that the cups are a bit smaller than the regular Freya cup sizes. The only thing I would change is that there is a big seam that runs right across the front of the cups and it shows through my work out shirts. Other than that it is a great bra. Great bra! It does have a slight conical shape but it is very comfortable and does a great job at compressing! Had to go up in cup size to get the center panel to lay flat - and it is still not 100% flat, but it is so close that I'll just keep it. Ashley from chattanooga, tn

Before buying this bra I had been wearing the 34H of the same model. When I increased the cup size, I expected the band to stay the same. That is not the case - the bra is brand new and I'm using the tightest hooks. In spite of that, the bra is comfortable and I think I'll get another. A from Milwaukee, WI

Love this Bra. It's the third I've owned. It must do its job, as I just had to order it in a smaller size. Keeps the girls locked and loaded. Deb from Allen, TX

I typically wear a Wacoal 32DDD bra, but given suggestions of a looser band in Freya, I tried a 30F. The band on the last hook was comfortable for trying on but I would probably need to tighten it if used for exercise. The cups fit oddly. There was extra fabric around the seem, but "spill over" at the top. I am probably the wrong shape for this cup style. The center gore also goes up fairly high and was not flesh with my ribs. Overall, I the style of the bra may not be ideal for everyone.

Freya Response: PK, we’re sorry that your cut-and-sewn Freya sports bra wasn’t right for you. You’re correct in asserting that not all bras are suitable for all bust types. We recommend Freya Active Underwire Molded Spacer Sports Bra AA4892 in a breathable spacer-fabric moulded cup which will give you a smoother silhouette than the puckering cups you experienced with AA4002. Thanks for trying Freya! PK from Virginia
