Ever since I found my correct size, I don't wear "push up" bras but this is the one I would choose. Submitted from TheUndies.com

Beware of straps that fall apart! I bought one of these bras several year ago and loved it (still do). Bought several more last year, only to find shoddy construction on the straps. The fabric was apparently glued together, and cam undone within the first few wears, leaving glue bits on my shoulders and extra fabric that I cannot manage to fold under and make work. Great bra otherwise, but as we all know, one annoying issue with a bra is all it takes to spoil your day.

Freya Response: Another option for you might be the Deco bra style 4234 in freya. It gives a lot of “vavoom” and is very sexy and has a nice shape. It runs fuller than the Retro bra so you might be a 32f in Deco. April from NYC

Nice Bra, but more for looks than comfort. Reminds me of a really nice bathing suit top! I ended up returning it as I needed a more comfortable bra with some lift that would not slip off my shoulders. I purchased the Calvin Klein Seductive Comfort Customized lift bra which I am very happy with Susie from Allentown, PA

Not as much of a fan of this one. Mostly since I like Freya because it separates my breasts. However, if this bra is used for special low cut garments, I have not found better (just don't like the style in general). I also prefer molded cup but, as those are hard to find in my size, I am happy with this. Liss from Salt Lake City, Utah

Instead if thinking bigger breasted women need to "minimize" or "hide" their assets, Freya makes a comfortable sexy bra that lets a woman's natural cleavage be shown if that is what she chooses. Thank you Freya! Submitted from TheUndies.com

I love the one hook closure in the back of this bra. I have no issues with the fit from the single hook. The band does seem to stretch with wear, I put it on first thing in the morning and must tighten it later in the day. Not a big deal, because it is great for summer months when skin swells. My one complaint is the straps sliding. I'm a shorty, so that is pretty much expected. You can't please everyone, but this bra does pretty good at pleasing the majority. :) tinyjourney from Idaho

I ADORE this bra. It is my absolute favorite. I love the shape, the comfort, the quality, the youthfulness, and the size range. I have 3 of these bras and I will certainly be getting more. They are extremely comfortable, fit perfectly, and are very flattering. I wear them with everything that doesn't show the seams. The bra is low enough cut that I don't have to worry about it showing but works well under conservative necklines just as well. The seams do show through t-shirts, but given the quality of the bra that just means that I rarely wear t-shirts. Blouses with this bra are much more comfortable than t-shirts with other bras. My only complaint is that the straps fall down, but I think that's because my shoulders are very narrow, and I forget to tighten the straps. The band provides most of the support anyway, so it's only a small irritation, and far from unique to this bra. I found the band in this a bit stretchier, so I prefer a 30 to my usual 32 in Freya. I doubt that I'd be able to breath in the Pollyanna in a 30, but the Retro Basic Plunge in a 30 is absolutely perfect (along with an increase in cup size. One for going down a band size, another because it's a plunge). I remember when I first tried to find bras for my rather obnoxiously sized chest I despaired because the only bras in my size seemed like beige granny bras. (I'm very grateful my mom got me fitted though. Otherwise they would have been painful as well). They were high cut, so cleavage was out of the question, and ugly. I am so happy I found Freya, which is more comfortable, fits better, and looks fantastic! Whether I want a nice daily bra in a solid color, a wild polka-dotted one, or a pretty lace one, I can now find one that fits nicely and supports me. Clara from USA

I really like this bra, and the seams don't bother me. They lay flatter than most bra seams, and aren't terribly noticeable. I like the super thin foam lining too. It's just enough to give you a little structure, and that's it. It's very soft and flexible. Also like the gate-style back. I do question the sizing advice though. I normally would have ordered a 28DD but on the sizing advice I chose 30D instead. The cups just fit (could have probably gotten away with DD) but the band is large -- I have to wear it on the tightest hook. It measures 24" long, which is consistent with 30 band sizing. Maybe the bands only run small in the larger sizes? I don't know, but either way I will order my regular size next time. Very nice bra though!

Freya Response: Our sizing advice regarding the band reflects the experience of the majority of our customers. The tightness or looseness of the band is such an individual preference. If the cups felt slightly too small, perhaps you might want to try a 28DDD next time for an absolutely perfect fit. Sometimes I like to go up a cup in this style. Sara from Buffalo

I adore this bra! I have it in nude, which disappears under pretty much every top I own. Buying it in multiple colours, as, at present, I'm only wearing other bras when this one's in the wash! I have to say, though, my favourite thing about it is the shape - as 'Retro' suggests, 50s perky, is the best way to describe it. Also, I find myself having to wear it going shopping, as comparatively my other bras make me look flatter and bulkier, whatever I try on. Thank you! C from UK

LOVE the bra. The seaming gives this bra the kind of under-breast lift I need after breastfeeding 2 kids! It isn't the smoothest bra I have ever worn, but the seams are not too obvious. The straps seemed a little wide at first, but so far they have not slipped....and I am very active with a lot of walking around, bending, reaching, etc. I think the key to this bra is to get the band REALLY snug. I first tried a 32D in this, and I returned it since I felt like even though it fit OK, I might flop out with a lot of movement. You can always use a back extender but it is really a lot of trouble to get a bra band tailored to be smaller. Perfect amount of lining for modesty but not too much padding. I do find that the outer fabric tends to wrinkle a little instead of laying smoothly over the lining. still, this bra is a keeper. D from Ohio

I absolutely love this style bra. Has the best support of any bra I have had. I like the cleavage and the fit - I ordered every color! With a 34H I need support every day. I like that the straps are NOT elastic because they stay where they should. Please continue stocking this bra! MR from Texas
